    Beef tacos

This is a great classic mom and pop hole-in-the-wall with authentic Mexican (not TexMex) so flavor and fresh without all the cheese and grease. One of the daughters took our order, and speedy quick our order was up. While you don't get a lot of ambience, free chips and salsa, but you get GREAT MEXICAN food!! The hot sauces both red and green are FIERCE.

Little hole in the wall place in Shreveport that literally has the best tacos I've ever had. So authentic and delicious, I really can't find enough words to describe them! We tried the carne asada, pollo, beef fajita, al pastor and the carnitas. All of them were fresh, tasty and so so tender. The soft taco shells were house made and the perfect size. If you're coming here for a meal, three to four tacos should be good enough, although if I had the room I'd order them all! They also have taco tuesdays with $.99 tacos so if you're looking for a sweet deal come on a Tuesday! Even without the deal though, their prices are super fair. TLDR: If you're in Shreveport or just passing by, this place is a MUST go for the best tacos!!

Third time back in a week. Brought the wife and neice today and coworkers earlier this week for taco Tuesday. Best tacos I've had in ages. Meat seasoned and cooked to perfection. The best Home made tortillas and salsa bar make it pop.

I'm from Houston, Texas and I was missing tacos I used to get back home. I wanted to get tacos that were authentic and tasted fresh. This place didn't disappoint. I got 3 tacos and Horchata, all were so good and yummy! The salsa were also AMAZING, I'm Indian so I like my spice! 10/10 would reccomend, I got my to go order within 5 min of ordering.

Where can i see the menu with prices? Have tried and tried & all i can see are reviews. I would like to see what all they have before I drive over there.

This is a small hole in the wall place and so I doubt they have an on line menu. Their daily menu changes also based on availability. It is well worth the risk the the food my daughter and I had here was wonderful and made fresh.

Lots of mainly fried fish options, with a few grilled available as well. Fried Catfish! Wonderful proper crisp but light crust on a best ever thick filet light steamed with great flaky large filets. Shrimp really good and sides and gumbo are just right. Parking looked full but plenty of table space still available inside. They are known for very prompt service and food, so they apologized when it was going to take 10 minutes as they had just turned in orders for 2 parties of a dozen. Prices are quite reasonable, getting homemade quality for just about a dollar over commercial chains, with plenty of food on the plate. Unsweet tea was just brewed and better taste than you would expect... Worth the extra short drive around town to get there, and quite fine staff as well. Try it, you'll like it.

Unfortunately, the experience went downhill from there. It took over an hour for us to receive our food. We ordered shrimp and grits and two shrimp and fish platters. During the wait, I asked our server twice what was taking so long. Both times, I was told that they had a large party on the patio. While I understand that large parties can put additional pressure on a kitchen, that really shouldn't come at the expense of other customers who were seated and ordered before or around the same time. If the restaurant isn't able to accommodate a large party while maintaining reasonable service for other guests, there should be better planning and communication. What made it even more frustrating was watching other tables around us receive their food before we did. When I questioned the delay, the response was essentially that "some food takes longer than others." I understand that certain dishes may take more time to prepare, but waiting over an hour without any proactive communication or explanation was disappointing. This was my first visit, and unfortunately, the experience left a poor impression. I really wanted to enjoy the restaurant and give it a fair chance, but based on the service we received, I highly doubt we'll be returning. I hope management takes this feedback seriously because customers shouldn't have to repeatedly ask about their food after waiting that long.

My order consisted of shrimp etoufee over rice , two catfish fillets with crinkled fries . Both meals also had a slice of bread cut in half. My mom and I threw our bread away. The shrimp etoufee was ordered for my mom . She originally from South Louisiana unfortunately she didn't enjoy it was too peppery (her word). Now that she's a senior citizen she doesn't enjoy spicy food. I could smell that seasoning on her and my catfish meal. I tried the shrimp etoufee, I didn't eat a shrimp but except for the spicy smell the rich was bland to me. Now my catfish was received hot and flaky . The sweet potato pie isn't very sweet so hopefully my mom will like it.

The one and only employee/cashier I saw was already bothered by me coming in to pick up my order. Which explains what happened next. I asked if my order came with gravy and she said it didn't. I asked if I could add a side of gravy. She said they don't have a side of gravy but they have a side of rice and gravy for 2.99. Ok cool so I ordered it and she rung me up while sighing like I interrupted her watching her soaps. Then told me it will take another 15 minutes...for some rice and gravy that's back there sitting in a pot rn. Ok. After 20 minutes she brought me a full size to go container with 2 tablespoons of gravy dripping from the poorly fitted piece of foil, not a grain of rice in the box. Yo where's the rice? Oh you wanted rice too? The gravy was good but not worth $1.50 per tablespoon. Came back 5 minutes later with some rice I wouldn't serve to an abusive ex. Not worth the hassle

They have only been open 2 days and I've already been there 3 times. I hope the employees are able to maintain their current level of great service with a smile. Management plays a strong role in this. Management, please don't disappoint me. Unhappy employees are bad employees. Expect them to strive for perfection but give them love, respect, and free ice cream. Problems with the Youree Drive location: Unfresh food - food being in the freezer for way too long. This Mansfield Rd location just opened so yeah, it's all fresh and if they continue to do everything else right and rotate their stock then it won't become a problem the resulting steady flow of customers. Bad employees - lack of training, bad attitudes and laziness. So far all the workers here are upbeat, friendly, cheerfull, and appear anxious to learn and do their job well. Thank you everyone! Food not prepared correctly - Blizzard cups often filled 2 -3 inches below rim especially with the large cups. Blizzard add-ins not mixed throughly resulting in plain vanilla ice cream for the bottom half. The last bite of a Blizzard here tastes just as good as the first bite. Hurray! If you don't want something on your hamburger here, guess what, they leave it off. I see this area with more fat people in the future. Yes, I'm a happy camper. I may become diabetic but that will be my own fault because I made the conscience decision to bury my self-control inside a Blizzard cup. Thank you Dairy Queen! I will later update my review if this location goes downhill.
