The work that went into curating these tacos was so impressive! Everything was good! This is a hidden gem that we will definitely be back to visit.

Chiquitibum (top) & cochinita tacos with a side of rice & beans.

We were surprised that as a Mexican restaurant, this place didn't have margaritas or the normal liquidy queso and chips (the reason for taking away 1 star). We ordered the quesabrosa, which came with flour tortillas that we made little quesadillas with. Our server Mike brought us some chips when we asked; we liked the dip better with chips. For tacos, I got the poblano and chiquitibum. I liked the poblano best. Hubby got the bisté and cochinita. He liked the bisté best. He also got the chatanooga old fashioned, which he said was fine. Our service was phenomenal.

Very cool spot!! Awesome vibes, live music, super friendly service.. and yummy food!! :) the salsa was sooooo good! And the nopal taco was a favorite as well. Definitely recommend this spot for a fun date night or to grab margaritas with friends and watch live music. So fun!!

One of my favorite places to eat! The chicken poblano tacos are phenomenal. Everything is always fresh- amazing. Everyone should experience Ki' Mexico. Everyone who works there is very helpful! The ambiance is relaxed and comfortable. 10/10!

If you don't have money to blow, then this isn't the place for you to eat Mexican food. Prices are extraordinarily high, and portion sizes do not match. The food is good but not great and cannot be validated for how much everything cost. Advertised as a Mexican restaurant but could barely pass as Mexican fusion. Definitely its own category of food which is unique but don't go here thinking you're getting chips and salsa with your meal kind of Mexican restaurant. Try it for yourself and see how you like it, but personally I would not come back.

Today we stopped in for lunch I had the THURSDAY special which were the BIRRIA TACOS and a lemonade with added hibiscus very enjoyable aesthetic for an outside dining area, the greenery is very fresh looking and the wind seems to always flow just right and due to the roofing you won't get hot. Our server was very kind and amazing and catering to our needs the food is always fresh and amazing and I highly recommend you stop by for a great outdoor lunch experience another 5 stars. And to add the owner is always there and he also is an amazing nice guy Thanks again guys!!!!!

    Today's special Bad ass!!!

Great tacos. Staff was nice. Have to mark it down a bit because prices are pretty high for what you get.

We finally got our drinks about 12:35 and placed our appetizer order. Appetizers came out about 15 minutes later and both were delicious. The Nori mayo makes the corn ribs, definitely recommend ordering them. The spinach and artichoke dip was very good as well, a bit spicy for my kid, no big deal. Our party order: Fish & chips Grilled chicken with mashed potatoes and a side salad Cheese pizza The library burger The cheese pizza and burger were the only edible items. Don't order the chicken breast without getting it Cajun blackened, unless you want a dry non seasoned over cooked chicken breast! The fish were so full of grease they fell apart as soon as you picked them & were inedible. 0/10. After being here an hour, we were getting a bit antsy. Once we had hit an hour and 10 minutes it had gotten to be a bit too much. Our waiter came by and kindly let us a know a table of 12 people were waiting on their food and then ours would be out we weren't in a rush so I guess it didn't matter, but we were beginning to be uncomfortable! The atmosphere is also strange? There are grills outside the front door, flour and other items stacked high in the hallway, soap and toilet paper shoved on the floor under the sinks. It feels very chaotic and unorganized. We were given a discount and key lime pie & a cookie for our "troubles". Even with the discount we were still over $100 for a bad meal.

The menu has changed in the last year (apologies for lack of photos), so I recommend checking the website's menu for the most current offerings. The potato beignets were a hit appetizer- although truly the oddest beignets I've ever seen- I would order again without hesitation. The kabocha squash hummus and Brussels sprouts were also immediate hits. My duck confit was exceptional and the banana creme pie was enough for 4 people to enjoy a few bites. The menu strikes a nice balance of varied southern/french tastes but focused for quality and thoughtfully curated. Although I noted that we were celebrating a graduation when making the reservation, it was never acknowledged. That said, the service was warm and attentive overall, with the only drawback being infrequent water refills. The volume in the dining room fluctuated and became a bit louder toward the end of our meal. Overall, this restaurant manages to feel both intimate and refined. A charming, upscale spot that's well suited for a special occasion.

The purple sweet potato bread was easily the highlight of the meal. Give me two more orders and call it a night. I had the salmon with wilted spinach, heirloom peas, leeks, and gribiche. The salmon was cooked perfectly with crispy skin, while the peas brought an earthy, slightly nutty flavor with a creamy texture that paired beautifully with the leeks and tomatoes. If I'm ever back in town, this will be the first restaurant I visit.

I had a barrel ages old fashioned. The bread was fresh and tasty. The menu has quite a variety...steak, chicken, seafood...something for everyone. We were going for steak. A filet was ordered and two of us ordered the 14 oz ribeye. From what I saw on other tables steak seems to be a favorite. The waitress came back and took salad orders, how we wanted the meat cooked plus another drink if needed. I ordered medium well. After a bit i order another old fashioned. The first one went smooth and good. Not too much ice, just the right amount of liquor. Chilled and good. The wedge salad comes out and it's covering the plate. Thousand island dressing plus real bacon bits. A nice touch. Just enough dressing. After a bit the ribeye arrives. It too covers a portion of then plate. it's a bit peppered but cooked right. The waitress asked us to cut into the meat to verify it was cooked right, they all were cooked as ordered. Truly a treat. The steak is gone, a little bread is left on the table, half the old fashioned is remaining. Definitely will return in the future if I'm in Shreveport. Between the service and quality of the food it's a must visit if you're in town.

To start, the menu pricing is definitely reflecting the upscale steakhouse that it is going for. Their Caesar salad was solid (4/5); I wish they had some anchovies on it though. I got the prime New York strip for my main (16 oz, $68) with a requested medium rare cook. The steak came out a bit tough, even for prime, and the seasoning was overly heavy on the pepper and the fat on the side of the steak needed more rendering. The cook was closer to a medium, which is fine, but it didn't help with the toughness. The sentiment of the group was that there was too much black pepper on all of the steaks and that the cuts were a bit tough (3/5). The sides were hit and miss; the Mac and cheese was solid (4/5), mushroom risotto was a bit meh (3/5), and sauteed mushrooms were also a bit bland (3/5). The crème brûlée was solid as well (4/5) besides the whipped cream on top. Overall, there were some hits and some misses but the toughness of the steaks and the over seasoning brings the steak dinner experience down slightly, especially at this price point.
