Okay I am Mexican food snob. I like authentic and good flavor. If you are looking for good Mexican food, this is the best place on Red Bank I've had. Other places are popular on delivery services, but this place is just good. I walk up and down Red Bank daily. I know all the places. Some people give a little food truck side eye, but that is their mistake. This place needs to be your go to destination for Mexican food. Their menu is simple. Pick a option and pick a meat. You can order in English or Spanish. They take card and verify the transaction. I went with 2 Pastor and 2 lengua tacos and a horchata. The pastor tacos were really good. I could name other places that need to take a lesson but I won't. I saved the lengua tacos for the end because that's harder to cook and easier to mess up. Those lengua tacos were so soft and delicious. They do not load their tacos up with nonsense. Onions and cilantro that's it. The had grilled onions, radish and cucumber on the side. If you like spice, go with red sauce. That definitely had a kick. The horchata was delicious. I ate on the little covered patio tables and it wasn't too busy. The Christmas tree lights do wonders for spaces in the evening. I'll be coming here again. Hopefully you will too. read more

Good, basic, authentic Mexican food. Did a delivery order through DoorDash. Food was made fast, was extremely well priced, not just for DoorDash, but well priced even if this was a pick up order. Good was tasty though not super standout. This would probably be an average three star place, but a good price and fast food put a big smile on my face. This place gets 5 stars for their fresh delicious food and customer service. Every single employee in that truck was welcoming, smiling, patient taking orders, and engage in conversation, which made it such a great vibe. We ordered tacos, burritos, arepas, quesadillas, and mulitas. They use only one tortilla for their tacos which is not standard but it's a good quality tortilla that doesn't break. My favorite item was the item that was fried crisp to perfection and my favorite meat was the Al pastor. They're reasonably priced and also have aguas frescas. Our bill was less than 100 and we fed 7 people. They have a seating area and two different people were bringing our food out to us making sure we all get it hot and fresh. We live in Las Vegas but my son lives here and I'm glad this is his favorite food truck and he will continue to support. Not sure why this place only has 6 reviews and not busier because they have everything people are looking for - great food with outstanding service. It could be the location and lack of parking but if you're patient, this is a must try! They made up feel so appreciated. My only complaint was the flies near the near area which can be annoying when trying to eat. Otherwise the fact that they have so many options to choose from, makes it a no brainer for someone to keep coming back. Dope food truck with seating! This place is really tasty. Parking is a bit of an issue but it's worth the figuring out. I always get the California burrito with no rice. They let you pay extra for more carne if you like. I like to add onions and cilantro. It brings me back to real San Diego burritos. Enjoy Foos! read more

Best street tacos we've found in the area. Coming from CA, it's a hard sell for us. Every meat is full of flavor, juicy, delicious and really stands on its own with no sauce or other things needed. The chefs really do an amazing job with the meat and we all know that's what is most important. Lengua/tongue, tripe and barbacoa/seasoned shredded beef are the best!! The burritos are huge, the tacos are well portioned at $2 each. You cannot go wrong with this place and I'll continue to go there every time. I'll try to remember a picture in the future but we don't hesitate to devour them as soon as o get them home. They also added a nice covered area to the side with picnic tables. Last heads up, the parking area is very beat up, way overcrowded and a bit of a mess but the food is 100% worth it. read more

Delicious food! This food truck is a hidden gem in Goose creek! We are relatively new to the area so still getting to know where the good food is and this is definitely a keeper! We ordered tacos, one of each, and we definitely loved Al Pastor. For every 5 tacos, you get a Free can of soda and they have a loyalty card where you get free food after ordering a certain amount of food. The gentlemen was extremely nice and professional. They are open Monday-Saturday from 11am-1pm and then reopen from 4:30-9:30pm and are closed on Sunday's oh and they only offer Sopes for dinner along with the rest of the menu. It pains me to write this 3 star review. So let me start with what made it 5 stars until the last 2 visits. Great food, plentiful meat & garnishes, delicious hot salsa & salsa verde, you know that torta bread like no other bread on earth? Yeah, they use that one, delish! The best Mexican food I experienced was on the west coast...Cali & Washington State...this taco truck reminded me of those days. I have been going there for about 18 months. The only issue I had in the past was being overcharged. We laughed about it...but I didn't go back for 6 months. Fast forward 6 months...perhaps I went too late, 8:35 PM. Ordered a quesadilla & torta al pastor. So...I got a quesadilla de pollo & a torta al pastor. I wasn't sure it would be worth taking the quesadilla back, wasn't sure it would be open. I hate the chicken there,it's dry. In defense of the chicken, it must be breasts...anyhow, gave it the old college try, nope chicken is still awfully dry. I threw out the quesadilla...my BF would not have eaten it either. I figured I'd have half the torta, save the 2nd half for the BF. Whoa! Where's the beef!? Or pork actually...2 bites in...it's mainly bread & the pork is starting to taste a bit off...so I spit it out...and realized that it was a bit burnt. It was as though they scraped up scraps of pork off the grill & put it on a yummy bun with yummy avocado & mayo. So I threw it all out. I chalk it up to showing up close to closing..but they still have my $14. That's not OK. Lastly, I don't want to say this, but let me say it. I speak very bad Spanish, so I rarely speak it. I do however understand a good bit of Spanish. I'm pretty sure that the cook told the "window girl" she didn't have enough al pastor. I was expecting window girl to repeat to me in English, I didn't catch her reply to the cook...therefore I assumed I misunderstood the cook. I would have simply ordered something else had she told me. Ill only go back if my BF pushes for it. This place has really good tacos. It's pretty cheap, and has covered outdoor seating if you want to sit down to enjoy your food. You can purchase your beverage in the store (at the same address) while you wait for your food to be ready. They also offer burritos, quesadillas, and tortas, all with a wide variety of meats. If I'm looking for a quick bite to eat, I will always keep this place on my short list of places to go while in Goose Creek. read more
