She listens to your needs and does her best to please her customers. I feel comfortable with her professionalism and friendliness. She warmly welcomed me to her cozy studio and gives you her total attention. After listening to my request, she washed my hair and conditioned it before doing the cut. She's quick with her hands and I am happy with the outcome. She is careful to show the back of my hair with a smaller mirror to make sure that is the length I like. I do not trust many hairdressers with my particular style but I trust Althea to do it . She does a great job and I get many compliments afterwards. I see Sunny every 4 months I think. I'm not sure if she's been at this location as long as I've seen her, but I guess my mom always managed to find her haha. The reason why I like Sunny so much - she's really nice, can speak Korean/English pretty well, and gives me the exact cut I want. I've never ever had a bad experience with her. She also uses good hair products. I'm not a girly girl, but come on! Girls' hair is a different realm haha. Parking is pretty good at her building too and it's next to a bookstore. So folks, if your S.O., friend, whatever is bored, let them roam the bookstore for an hour. Afterwards, drive up to Chipotle (about 2 miles down) and grab food to eat! Inside the shop, it's got several seats for people who are waiting. Anyway, I highly recommend Sunny for folks who live near Marietta and want a Korean to do your hair :)

I moved from SF 3 years ago and was solely devoted to only having my hair cut by my old stylist. Alas, this became more difficult since I wasn't traveling back to the west coast as often. So, I decided to give Atlanta stylists one more chance... (I've been to two other salons in the Duluth area, but the outcome was average. I think it was due mostly due to the language barrier. How can you describe what kind of cut you want if the stylist doesn't really understand what you're saying? amirite?! It's also a long way to travel if you have no other plans in the area.) I have pretty thick Asian hair, so I'm very picky about how stylists layer/texturize my hair. Sunny knew exactly what to do when I told her my concerns and reassured me that she could help. I did show her one picture of how I wanted my bangs since it was just easier to have a picture reference. I'd suggest that to anyone looking for a good haircut at any salon. The salon itself was on the smaller side but everything was clean. Not sure if Sunny works for the salon, or just rents a booth since I paid using Square on her iPhone.
