Not bad. General Target the same as the one nearby on Kipling. It's not as new or remodeled as the one in Edgewater across from Sloan's Lake though. All the usual amenities such as mobile pickup, Starbucks, and the Target market or mood options. This store has an interesting layout or maybe it's just the dimensions that make it seem larger. Quick with the checkout lines for sure. Even self checkout moves quickly here despite the one set of lanes. All the other nearby Targets have multiple lanes with team members checking you out AND multiple self checkout areas but ALWAYS have lines. Bonus star just for that overall speediness. A Target is a Target though. All of them have produce and frozen foods now. Formerly known as a p fresh store for employees. Or even a Super Target in the nineties. This store is spaced out well and does a great job displaying merchandise. No complaints. You can't park that close generally but they have loads of parking available. It's almost impossible to get down the isles here! Theres boxes and carts blocking the isles. They are constantly stocking shelves in the middle of the day! Blocking isles, littering the isles with boxes and trash. And to add to the frustration, the staff stocking are rude and inconsiderate to us trying to shop. There are soo many other options for shopping nearby. I'll be going elsewhere to do my shopping. read more

The employees followed me around like aggressively like as if I was shoplifting. I was kinda surprised that they were actually making me feel like uncomfortable at times. I am a paying customer when I go to stores to shop. Not shoplift. I feel like I was being profiled and judged for my appearance. It was a little annoying and insulted. So I say maybe if your really needs something from Target then yes, but if It can be bought at another store or wait until you can get it from somewhere else. I wouldn't recommend it. read more

Ahh, I always try to give this location different chances, but, man. This is just not a good location. Ran in today (a Saturday morning at 9 am) and the store is chaotic-there's stuff everywhere, there are carts full of product and boxes full of stuff everywhere. It was impossible to get through most of the store and everyone there was more focused on stocking shelves than doing other (probably more important) things like picking stuff off the floor or helping (could not find anyone to help me when looking for something on the floor). I've added pics just to show exactly what (most of) the store looks like. The two stars are for the employees who were able to help me-on register and customer service. This is not their fault, it's the fault of whoever is running the store. Why would you have people unpack boxes and put up shipment on a Saturday morning?? If I'm not Mistaken I saw an advertisement that distinctively said that "super target" well last Thursday I decided to get my local groceries from here and I can assure you with much confidence it is nothing of the sort. Unless they're definition of a super target is super stinky. whatever diabolical chemicals that are used to clean this facility are absolutely toxic and shouldn't be anywhere near humans. Four minutes in the cereal aisle and I was scratching my eyes out all night. not only that but I witnessed an employee applying Chapstick I am pretty sure that goes against several health code standards. Never enough registers open. 7:00pm and only one register open with only 2 of the 4 self check outs working. 10 min on line is fine if the store is making an effort to keep registers open. But not when there is no effort. read more

Security follows us every time we come in to the point it feels like we are being harassed. The particular security personnel in the photo asked us if we paid for our items as we were leaving the store the last time we shopped at this location. She pretended to look through the toy section then proceeded to keep an eye on us. Please allow your customers to shop without feeling like we are being stalked especially if your customers are frequent shoppers and pay every time for their items. Did a quick drive up order this morning and things went so quick and smoothly! I placed the order at 10:45pm last night, at 8am sharp I was notified the order was ready. By the time I pulled up into the drive up location an employee was already waiting on the curb outside the entrance waiting to bring me my bags! Staff was very friendly! I'm thoroughly impressed by how fast this pick up went! I'll happily do pick ups from this location in the future! read more

Normally I wouldn't review Target- I go frequently and have varying experiences every time. However, for the past 5 months I've almost exclusively used their curbside pick up service at least once a week and these guys and gals are killing it. They're friendly, fairly quick (even during busy times) and haven't yet messed something up. Why am i having so much trouble finding what I need.

This is our neighborhood, "go to" target, but I had an experience last week that I have to share -- a lady working the customer service desk, and claimed to be a manager (short/Asian lady) decided to give me a hard time about returning a product. At this target and any other target AND seeing that I am a REDCARD customer and probably spend more than $3000 at Targets on-line and in-stores, I have never had an issue. Their customer service is generally always amazing and I love the one older lady who always works the customer service desk. But this lady, wow, it is like she had some vendetta against me and decided to make me an example even though she has one job (one job), and I am a Veteran there in UNIFORM, mind you. I was shocked. It threw me for a loop that she was being difficult and denied me a refund. Honestly, NEVER happened before, let alone to someone serving their country who told the truth about why we were returning the product and what happened with it. I do not advertise I am military and I am not saying this to boost my complaint, BUT I was so shocked, just beyond shocked at how poorly I was treated. This has NEVER happened before, so it is an odd, sinking feeling. Anyway, happy ending is that my return was accomplished with perfect ease and grace at a different Target (as I expected), so I am not mad at Target, but seriously, this employee should be fired or at the least, counseled and trained. Because to her, customer service is not goal #1 but to protect some corporate bottom line, and to discriminate against some people, and not others. I wish I were less angrier so I could have wrote down this horrible employee's name, but I will not be shopping here any more. What a disgrace... oh and she's new because I have not seen her at my "neighborhood" target before. What a shame because I liked this Target, but clearly it is under new management. read more

Sometimes bigger isn't better. Well, I mean, sometimes it is, too, but that's not what I'm writing about in this particular review and...whew. Is it warm in here? RIGHT! So, Target in Arvada. It's not a Super Target. It's a regular store without the groceries. Remember when they made those? This particular Target is never crowded. You never have to wait in line for more than two minutes. It's well organized and generally clean. There's a Starbucks built in to the front of the store. While the folks that work there admittedly don't go out of their way to be helpful, nor do they avoid assisting you if you seek them out. Target's a happy place. I dig it. read more

I had 2 terrible experiences shopping here recently. I have never encountered a rude Target employee or had even one bad experience in the years I've shopped at stores throughout 6 different states. I use coupons, BUT I always offer everyone to go before me, I don't split into multiple transactions, I match my items & coupons before stepping in line. I make it as easy as I possibly can. On my first trip, the cashier wouldn't accept my newspaper coupons & target coupons (paper or mobile). She also said it was 'too late' to call a manager to verify the store policy. Fine, I'll come back & straighten it out with customer service. The next day I went in and explained at the customer service desk. Now this woman said she'd also worked the previous evening and knew about the issue.. wow. She didn't bother waiting for a response and started processing everything for return. I continuously said I still wanted the items but she didn't say anything else besides cutting me off with "mmhmm" while ringing away through the rest of the uncomfortable ordeal. read more

I have been to this target during this pandemic. Today I had an emergency needed something for my sons school. I am an at risk individual. I was stopped at the door by a witch. She told me it's for over 65 year old and the vulnerable. I explained I am she refused to let me enter. I will absolutely NEVER go back and I have a job where I talk to many many people I will absolutely tell anyone I can about this ridiculous situation. Shame on her for judging a book by its cover. This Target is old and ghetto compared to the new Super Targets sprouting up these days. The merchandise is pretty much the same as any Target store you go to. The staffing can be a real problem. The newer kids are friendly and nice but if you catch a manager who has apparently been there for 100 years they give you the same tired old answer of where something is. They have answered these questions a thousand times already and will answer the question a thousand more times with no enthusiasm until their pensions are ready and they can retire....or at least go to part time. read more

Two things that always bother me are: why do they have walkie-talkies that are blasting loud? Is the point of walkie talkies to not disturb the customers with an overhead speaker? All of the employees have their walkie-talkies on full volume. Also, why are there like 20+ checkout lanes but only two cashiers or so, and you always have to wait in line? Even though it's not a SuperTarget, this Target is still top notch. It's in a nice area, and has a good selection of clothing. Like all other Target stores, I would avoid this one from 2:30-5:30 because that is when the soccer moms and their kin take over the store. If you get a headache, I would recommend getting some aspirin (luckily, you're in the right place). read more

This is the second time I've shopped here for convenience and regret it. I use coupons frequently and get the product exactly as listed but this is the second time I held up the line taking items off because the coupon doesn't work or paid full price when I could have gone somewhere else and not waisted my time, which I won't anymore. When it comes to department stores filling that need of one-stop shopping for boxers, books, bacon, baby clothes, baking tools, Barbie's (you get the picture), I prefer Target over Wal-Mart and Kmart any day. Sure, the prices may not compete with Wal-Mart, but their employees, their displays and their store's cleanliness are so much superior. Granted, the dress and appearance of a Target consumer may not be as entertaining as a stereotypical Wal-Mart habitué, but I've never gotten a door ding from a John Deere Combine in a Target parking lot. This has to be the best Target around. It isn't a SuperTarget, but it does have a Starbucks and Food Avenue. Hits- Usually half the store is clearance! Really! Not just a rack of stuff, but RACKS of stuff, current stuff. Clean and there is always someone around to help. Misses- Parking lot sucks as it is on a slope and I always see carts making their way down the hill crashing into other cars. read more

I was in the area to go to Costco. I needed to pick something up so I came here. As far as Targets are concenred, this one is tiny. They cram a lot of things, including groceries, into a small space. Worst manager at this Target store in the world. I waited 2 hours outside the store to get a limited edition Toy they were suppose to get in. At 15 minutes before opening he came outside to inform me that they did not get them in on this shipment. I went back 1 hour later just to check and they DID get them in. They got 3 of them in and of course they were all sold out at this time. He's a bold faced liar!!! He probably let his employees buy them. Thanks for ruining our Christmas!!!! I don't have $300 to buy the toy on eBay when I should have gotten it for $20 at your store since I was first in line!!! Horrible store and horrible bold face lying manager. The prices have gone up here but there are still good deals to be found in the bargain bins up front. Big food selection but again, still a lot of overpriced items. The school supplies are way overpriced and the selection is not great. This store is always out of a lot of stuff and the aisles are usually fairly empty. I'd rather shop elsewhere. read more

Always clean always organized. All Targets in my neighborhood hire only white employees. They make me uncomfortable, the way they speak to me. i do ignore them. I dont shop here much. I dont feel welcome. I enjoy shopping where i am comfortable and there is diversity. There are other stores to shop at. I am at peace and happy with who i am. read more

I had asked a simple question to a lady at the guest service desk (Tina, I believe) and she was completely rude to me and talked to me like I was stupid and even cackled in my face a little bit. when my partner went in and asked if she had talked to me and told her that she made me cry and really hurt my feelings she denied it was her even though it was only about 15 minutes after I had been in there. I called to speak with a manager about it and the manager (Claire, I think?) completely dismissed what I was saying and said well it was just a misunderstanding she probably wasn't rude to you and offered barely even an apology. For a jaded Californian that frequents this particular Target when in town visiting family, I am really impressed with the attentiveness and friendliness of the staff. Back home, most of the folks they have working at Target are just drones trudging through their shifts. read more
