Have been to this location a few times pre-COVID, however haven't been here in quite a while. Had made an online order with pickup at this location, as it was the only place in stock. It is a busier location and parking and pedestrians walking, it gets a bit crazy and hectic... the parking for curbside is past the front entrance and there is quite a few spots available... but unless you have the app, curbside is worthless. I received an email and nowhere on the email does it allow me to choose curbside. So parked in one of the stalls and went inside to retrieve my item. It is a bit chaotic in the pickup area as there is just carts with items and things staked up in front of the register that you are suppose to receive assistance from.... however the cashier who was doing returns came over and assisted. Then the pickup orders are located in the clothing department, but otherwise it was quick as could be and efficient. Maybe Target could add a phone number for curbside or place a link in the email for those who do not have the app. read more

This review is solely on their drive up as I prefer to order and go so I can continue on with my day. In the few short times I've used them, my orders were processed quickly and ready for pick-up within a max of 2 hours. Pick up was also always quick and smooth and every Target employee I've encountered at this store has always been very polite and kind. read more

Beware of Theo !!!Horrible experience after waiting for 25 minutes with our emergency lights as there is no parking space to park , I go up to this lady letting her know I've been waiting with my emergency lights she tells me she is not helping anyone unless I am parked on a space number ,on the app it states if there is no parking to put your emergency lights and park near by , why would they even put that as an option. She refused to help me . a store associate by the name of diego let me know her name was Theo . Petty customer service. Had 2 separate transactions at self service and each needed a bag. Went to ask the female attendant I guess for two bags and she asked for a receipt showing I paid for the bag. I had only finished one transaction so she only gave me one bag until I paid for the second bag. This location has the worst On-line Order pick up. It is a 23people line with only 1 cashier. Staff are coming to stand and stare at the line then walk away. No additional help has come as we have been in this line for over 10 mins. The cashier is doing her best. Her Manager is the problem, not call ing for more assistance. I am mid line. read more

Quite possibly the most hideous Target I have been to in my life! If KMart was still around, I'd say that place rocks over this location any damn day. Even Wally World trumps this Target, and y'all KNOW how I feel about Walmart, lol! Not sure how long this one has been around, but it just looks super old---on the inside and out! I stopped in to kill some time and was taken aback by the sight of clothes strewn all over the aisles... Idk if it's the customers being straight up ghettofied or the employees or both?! After reading some recent reviews, I'm willing to bet the farm it's both! How sad, and the only thing I can think of that is this Target's pride and joy is the Big Dog near the entrance/exit at the front of the store. Never seen that anywhere else. I didn't care much to walk around the rest of the store after seeing that mess. The restrooms weren't in the best condition, either. This Target has got to step up their game BIG TIME!! I had an amazingly efficient experience with Target this morning. I did an online order and it was ready before the two hours, I then went and picked up my order and grabbed some other items and checked out in less than ten minutes! The online ordering is so convenient and the pick up people are so accommodating. The self check out is a breeze. The inside of the store is clean and well maintained. It's usually very well stocked. Just a heads up for special needs parents. This target DOESN'T offer any sort of adaptive seating like the Caroline's carts. Even the double seater cart for multiple kids the straps are completely broken. I'm assuming since Target is anti DEI now that it's too woke to accommodate special needs kids. I got stopped by a little boy security guard today so that he could check my receipt. I asked him if he was checking everyone's and he said "yes" as people were walking by without having their receipts checked. He was looking at my receipt for a good minute then said "you forgot to scan the diapers." WHAT?! Lol. Ok. Me: "no I didn't" Little boy: "I don't see it" Me: "well it's there" Little boy: "oh I see it" Yeah ok. Target has evolved so much grew up coming to this store and was so excited to see a pop up store of Ulta located inside near the registers. I also love that they se variety of children's books I'm a fan of buying books for my kids. They finally got bikinis back in stock under $25 for 2pc or 1pc not bad price at all. I bought makeup, children's books, and bikini sets for the family. I will say that the makeup portion of the store looked scarce must be a sign of high demand or low staff to keep up. The store was semi-organized though. The aisles were not cluttered and it did appear the items were well stocked. The lines were ridiculously long. I saw one cashier checking customers out and everyone else standing in line for self-checkout. I did notice at least four other employees that were standing near the front register/door area. The bathroom was disgusting. The smell slapped you in the face as soon as you walked into the doorway. There was toilet paper in one and all the ladies were kind enough to share with the next. Most of the soap dispensers didn't have soap in them. Three of the four sinks also didn't even try to turn on. read more

Finally someone walked up and asked what I needed, I said to pick up my order, then the person comes out from the back and never acknowledged me. Drive up pickup is extremely slow. I saw the employees casually walking and talking, even pausing to laugh a little even when the entire parking lot was full. Every spot was full and no one cared, except for every client that kept honking their horns or looking around for these slow pokes. Absolutely horrendous. read more

Probably the worst run Target in San Diego. Sad but the store is not well kept, the customer service department does not give you the courtesy of a "Hello, we will be right with you". The staff seems pre occupied with other things much more important than customers needs. Who ever is the Manager here needs to be re-trained or re-placed. Morale is always low and the staff never or rarely smiles at you. I do not base this review on one bad visit but rather several visits over the years. They should take a lesson from the Target in Plaza Bonita and it is not because of the neighborhood because the Costco next door is a very pleasant place to shop. I needed a few things like oatmeal, cereal, and phyllium to aid my diet. The store was set up a typical for Target, so I was able to find my items quite easily. The cvs in this target had rude customer service. I asked the employee simple question and their response was with a negative attitude.

This target is a wonderful Target just like the rest. Now gotta take some credit on this I do have 1" gauges in my ears , a couple sleeves of tattoos and one on the side of my neck/throat but if they were able to see passed that none are prison or gang tattoos. But from the moment I walk in, with all intentions of purchasing at least over 50 bucks every other day I walk in. I collect pops , marvel Figurines and yes even Pokémon cards, pretty thug right? Now the reason I mention all this is because there are days I walk in look around they have nothing new in so I buy maybe some ice cream, candy , or packaging supplies. Or even nothing! Nothing wrong with that! Now these "undercover" or plain closed security/ loss prevention dudes are obvious as all hell. After about 3 minutes of entering I have this one Afro American man on me. Always happens To be interested in the same things I am. Even puts items in his basket that are gone the next time I see him. Then literally I will just for the hell of it grab something random walk around the isle and put it back where I got it and dude will grab the same EXACT item and make Sure it wasn't tampered with then almost look pissed off. Their are a good 3 other dudes like him whom are just normal looking whites dudes in their 30's. Anyways Target I hope your reading this. Only reason you're getting 2 stars is because I'm nice, but you could of had 5 if you weren't so judge mental and make paying Re-occurring customers feel like they look like murderers!! It is an awful feeling. So I know someone will read this fuck with those dudes as often as possible because they are low lives. Excellent customer service provided by Jimmy. I came to this store to buy a few items I needed but they were not available either on the shelves or in the fridges. I was able to get hold on an employee and I requested help, he checked the inventory and was able to find the product I was looking for. He took the time to help me despite the fact that he was busy working on something else.
