This target has a garage parking lot and that's where you pull in for drive-up service. You will see the cones and designated area. I've always found this Target to be weird but it's really not all bad lol. It's just weird that they have it on the second floor and nothing on the ground floor at all. Would be neat if it was actually a two story! Been coming here for years now since we've moved here. It's been our "go to" target but mainly for essentials. Otherwise we drive all the way to Valencia for the collectibles lol. For whatever reason, this one is always out of the figures and toys we are looking out for. You can never go wrong visiting this Target store. There a decent size parking lot underneath the store and also on the outside as well. I like this Target if I'm in the area because there more self checkout station at this location. The other Target that I go to nearby on Nordhoff only has 4 self checkout station. The layout of this Target is different just because the beauty department is in the middle of the store so the mena personal care products are closer to the cashier station. read more

Came here to validate Target Corp. new initiative to have their associates provide a more friendly customer experience. I'll start off by saying the security officer at the entrance today. He's shorter, Asian, tattoos with a facemask. He greeted us and offered a child stickers. This was quite possibly the only person that executed being friendly. Came to shop your Christmas Shop. Selection was minimal and not shoppable. When your aisles are too narrow to fit two carts side by side. Makes it extremely difficult for a customer to spend money in those aisles. Your time window to sell these items is less than three weeks. Complete failure. I had multiple associates walk by and appeared to be fulfilling online orders. They could care less about customers in the aisles. This store has a lot of work to do. Only plus is they're usually well stocked. That's it. read more

For discount retailers Target tops the list for me. You can find some great deals, the stores have really been updated and are very clean and nice with some up and coming brands and ones you love. I always find it strange when I see low reviews of these kinds of stores. What do people need, nice big clean stores, tons of selection, can get pretty much everything you may need in 1 stop, convenient, many locations, good value for your dollars. They have even started carrying fresh flowers, at least In this store. They have a Starbucks as well, as most do these days. I do think not having the food court in most locations these days is a miss, but all in all, always a good experience. I can go on and on. As far as service, I guess the only interaction I had was at self checkout, the person there was very nice. Other than that, did not need any assistance. I prefer it that way anyway. Not sure why the reviews are so negative but I love this Target. It's big, clean and seems fancier than the other targets in the area - except maybe the one on Ventura. The Starbucks is nice with ample seating. Lots of registers and self checkout options to make purchasing quick. Ample parking. I went to pick up my glasses and "Leslie" who is supposed to be a specialist single handily ruined my brand new pair of glasses. First she has so much makeup on my clear glasses are orange from her attempting to bend them with her bare hands. Second she was so rude when I asked her to stop as she wasn't listening to what I was asking her to do. NEVER go there and let "Leslie" touch your glasses. Finally when I told her tom stop that I would come back she laughed and me and shrugged her shoulders, what kind of customer service is this. I paid a lot of money for my glasses and should not have had to experience someone like this when picking them up. I remember when Target was known for great customer service, but now it's a different story. Employees don't greet you, make eye contact, or even try to help when you ask a question. No one seems to know where anything is, and they don't bother checking stock. On my last visit, I asked an associate a question, and she acted annoyed that I even asked. She didn't turn around, had no clue about the product, and didn't bother checking the back--I had to pull out my Target app and do her job for her. With the advent of several delivery services, you rarely see me going to a store to pick up anything. However, once in a blue moon, I am on the hook, to pick up an online order (for a family member) from a nearby store. That is what brought me to Target. The location in Granada Hills (on Balboa) is easy to get in and out of the store. There is a dedicated section for pick up orders and there are personnel waiting to move the line. The transaction is swift and seamless. They scan your pick up bar code, disappear for a very brief time and reappear quickly, with your bag in hand. And you are good to go and be on your way. It's 9:03pm Sunday February 2nd. I just called this target location in Granada Hills. Employee immediately picked up on the first ring but employee didn't say anything and put the phone down without telling me to be on hold. I'm stuck calling out to this employee but they're not responding. I can hear other people talking in the background so I know it's a live call. 2 minutes of me saying "hello?" the employee hung up. Avoid target drive up its 35 plus minutes literally... kept telling myself I already waited this long.

Went to check out with a cart full of items tonight and asked employee at check out if a certain item was in stock because I couldn't find it. She was able to find it in her phone and told me the aisle number, but I had already searched that aisle five times and asked if someone could help me. I received a lot of resistance and reluctance, but she did end up asking about 4-5 employees to help who were either on break or helping someone else. Finally she asked an employee who was willing to help me, but her manager immediately called her away and told her that nobody was in a certain section and she needed to go there immediately. She told this female manager/supervisor that she was already helping me, but mgr told her that didn't matter, she needed to leave me to go to this other section now. Since when did target become a secondhand shop. If I could give zero stars, I would I am absolutely appalled at the quality of product that was picked for my online order. I ordered clear care plus contact solution for curbside pick up and I just now today went through all of my items and found that not only did it appear to be taped shut poorly, and already looked torn and ripped, but when I opened it, the contacts case was missing and one of the bottles was open and almost all used. The fact that a target employee who was pulling my order, thought it was OK to grab this is insane. It's obvious this was used and then returned not something that the target employee wouldn't have known if they hadn't looked at the packaging. This is supposed to be a sanitary product that people use on their eyes. I don't even want to touch or use this product in fear that I might catch something from the previous person that returned after using half of it. I expect better from target. read more

DO NOT DO DRIVE UP HERE!!! Select a different store. We just left after waiting for over 45 mins for our drive up order! They told us to just go pick up inside the store but it wasn't there and we went inside twice!! Finally brought our order to the car. They are so awful that every drive up order parking spot was taken by customers waiting. Such a nightmare! Please save yourself the misery and go to the Corbin Target which is lightening fast and great customer service in person at the store too.
