They have so many items yet not surprising if you find something you like or need. I'm currently reorganizing my room and needed new vanity organizers for my make up brushes, etc. be prepared to spend some time browsing the store as you have to take your time to really find hidden gem deals. Value is reasonable for most of the items however they are next to Burlington which is a competitor, but not a deal breaker. If you don't find it there, you just might at home goods. Love all the Homegoofs cause of all the great finds. Each location has its special finds and it's a total gem once hou find a great piece or find. Service is great and very inviting. I stopped by this HomeGoods today to look at Christmas and Halloween decorations. I came before lunch so the store was not busy and there were parking near the front. From the moment you walk inside, you'll see Halloween and Christmas decorations at the entrance. They have other items here as well like picture frames, glassware, chocolate, arts & crafts stuff, things for pets, clothing and more. There were also workers throughout the store ready to help guest. There no self checkout here so you'll have to pay with a cashier. read more

This place will have you spending all your money hahaha. It's located right next to TJ Maxx. HomeGoods parking area is safe compared to other ones I've visited. The selection is amazing! I recently came for the Halloween selection and there was a variety of things for your home, including bedrooms, bathrooms, and kitchen. The value was great and varies from $10 to 50 depending on the item and the size. The service was absolutely amazing. I had people constantly asking me if I was OK if I needed anything if I was looking for anything in specific long story short I love the selection in this HomeGoods compared to other locations and I really liked how everything was organized and the staff was super friendly. read more

I have not seen a worst customer service anywhere else. The lady standing by the carts was so rude and unpleasant. When asked if they will be bringing more carts in she said we bring them in every day and customers keep taking it out ... like what?! Lady that's your job... customers take it out, you bring it in. You get paid for that. If that's not your job then you notify whoever is responsible... show that you care... work... earn the paycheck you take home. Don't just stand there and act like a smarta$$. I would so fure that rude lady on the spot. They really need to train floor staff to deal with customers better. It's simple, if they can't perform because they are incapable or just straight up don't give a damn then they get fired. read more

This is the worst HomeGoods I have ever been to. It is always a mess and the employees are rude but I kinda get it because they are always understaffed and whenever I overhear the manager speaking to employees, it is borderline verbal abuse. The line is an hour long every time I go because they only have 2 or 3 people at the register. For some reason the manager will ALWAYS sit behind the counter just monitoring the employees instead of opening a register themselves This last visit I got in the back of a line of maybe 30 or 40+ people. I waited 15 minutes and the line barely moved up about 3-5 people so I left. I went to eat at Presto in the same plaza for about 30-45 minutes and I came back to see if it got any better, but I noticed the woman that was standing behind me in line was barely halfway through even though it had been like 45 minutes... So I decided to just buy all the stuff I picked out on Amazon thinking I would pay a slightly higher price but come to find out the SAME EXACT things from the same exact brands on Amazon were either the same price or even CHEAPER than here. What's the point of even shopping here and waiting in line for an hour when the discounts aren't anywhere near as good as they used to be years ago.. no wonder Amazon is taking over. And this is coming from someone that tries to order as little as possible from Amazon, but after this last visit I won't ever come back since it seems Amazon is cheaper than this "discount" retailer read more

Always a pleasure to walk around this store and because there is such a wide variety of stuff - from furniture to toys to garden to bathroom to kitchen to stuffed animals to stuff for your desk at work to even candy - you're always bound to find something. There is also a lot of turnover in inventory so you're bound to find something new each time you go. I'd like to see them take better care of the stuffed animals. They are just clumped together and often falling on the ground as a result, so when I find them they are dirty with marks on them and not particularly buyable at that stage. Need to either better organize them or have an employee wash them every now and then before putting back on the floor. read more

This location in Granada Village Plaza sits next to SteinMart. Despite that, I'd only passed through briefly one previous time before my visit on President's Day. I popped in around 5 PM, and while the store wasn't that crowded, once I picked up a few items and went to checkout, there was quite a line. Before that part of the visit, I wandered through various areas. Was on the hunt for salt crystals for our salt grinder. Check! Apparently, Himalayan salt is all the rage right now. They have a lot in their gourmet food section. I found several gifts for my dear friend. Missed her birthday when we were sick. Now I'll be ready for a rain check get-together. Noting that they were featuring merchandise from Africa, and lots of nautical themed items. There were other features afoot for Easter and Spring, too. I would have gone 4 stars, except the line to check out took forever! The woman in front of me even struck up a conversation about it. I was focusing on shifting my weight, because I was getting a pain in one leg from standing on the hard floor for so long. They could have easily used two more cashiers. Parking is free, but the lot is often crowded, as this is situated in a very successful shopping plaza. All in all, will plan on visiting this HomeGoods again. read more

I absolutely love shopping at Home Goods stores. This location is the closest to me so I go here often. The store is always clean, organized and fully stocked. Great priced on a lot of items. I love the imported dinnerwares the most. Specially the ones from Italy. I'm a big collector of those items. I also buy a lot of baskets, platters and trays for my business. Let's just say I'm here every two weeks. With the exception of the last few months when they were closed due to Covid ... The two stars is mainly because of customer service issues. Most of the staff is rude and unprofessional. There are few nice ones. Last week I was buying 2 different size serving trays and both had the same label/price and I'm like ok that's weird but maybe they are the same price, who knows. While I was at the register emptying bunch of stuff from my cart the employee scanned the trays and immediately told me ma'am these tray are not the same size but have the same tags. I'm like yes I noticed and was surprised my self. Then she turns around and tells me "Well we don't tie our tags on trays like this " ..... I looked at her and I'm like so you are telling me that I tied the price tags on the trays ????? She didn't make a sound and I got so furious and told her " look at my cart I'm buying 15 items and I'm going to stand there and change a tag for $3.00.??? Are you kidding me. Then she said it again "well we don't tie our tags like that". Oh man !!! If there wasn't a huge line (or if they had more registers open) I would have called the manager, but I kept it cool and just ignored her and paid for my stuff and left. I could not even catch her name cause her name tag was turned around. That explains a lot. Such a rude lady. I will be back though to shop for more items. They won't stop me. Hopefully the management will train them for better customer service skills soon. read more

This HomeGoods store in Granada Hills has the worst customer service of any retail store. I was at the cash register and the cashier and supervisor made me feel like a thief which really upset me, especially because I have never stolen anything and worked retail as a teenager. It was so embarrassing. I felt like I was accused of switching a label when I didn't. I told the cashier and supervisor to check the cameras as this was an employee mistake. All for $2 dollars! Geez. The supervisor at the front registers was not warm and friendly at all. She had the most grumpy, sour face and couldn't even look me in the eye or "act" apologetic about my experience. They need to work on their customer service and hire people with friendlier personalities. I had a better experience yesterday interacting with cashiers at the Dollar Tree and 99 Cents Store of all places. I love shopping at HomeGoods but I will never shop at this location again. read more

I almost threw up tonight "around 8pm" the sicko who works there, skinny, dark hair and glasses acted so incredibly inappropriate. He clearly is an attention seeker because he was walking back and forth on the phone trying as hard as he could to burp...multiple time "like right behind me" so I turned around to see who was burping and obnoxiously talking on the phone. Well this creep could tell I was taken back because right after he passed me he tells who ever he was talking to "oh I'm gonna get complaints for farting and burping around the store" ha ha ha i had to leave the area that I wanted to shop in so I wouldn't throw up. Im shocked and don't know how a person of that age thinks it is funny and cute prancing around with no consideration for others. At least say excuse me... but no he got enjoyment out of spreading all his nasty bodily fluids to people who wanted nothing to do with him. Hopefully he reads this and is embarrassed because your obnoxious behavior is not fooling anyone....in fact it SCREAMS I am so insecure with myself I have to disrespect those around me to feel important and relevant. He loves it!! ^^ We came here to scope out some plates and literally left with cute desk/desser! This location doesn't carry as much like other HomeGoods store but it still did its job! They DO NOT have "more in stock/in the back" so if you see what you like, make sure you flag down someone and let them know you want it! - they will bring it out in the front so you can let the cashier know your name and they'll be more than glad to ring you up!!! read more

Love Home Goods for non-specific gift shopping. I've found all kinds of things here, recent acquisitions: dachshund & elephant wrapping paper (!), Hanukkah pillows, Moscow Mule copper mugs, nutcrackers, Halloween dish wares, flavored coffees and teas, toys and kids' stuff, doggie goodies and random, unmatched furniture pieces. I usually don't come here with anything particular in mind, and that's when I find the best stuff! Their stock changes constantly and they move things around a lot- which can be both a good/bad thing. If you see it and want it, buy it because it probably won't be there tomorrow! Great shopping at discount prices for the upcoming Hanukkah (December 5) and Christmas season. I also go to Home Goods for birthday presents throughout the year. The last time I was there, they even had a life-sized RED SLEIGH and a huge lion covered in yellow-gold mosaic tiles for a paltry $1,499! I've been going to this location for years. There are enough wonderful finds in this store - one can (and probably will) spend hours on end perusing through the merchandise. I am most impressed at the kitchen goods/glassware section. There are beautiful and classy, name brand decorative items and quality kitchen utensils that you can purchase for half the price of a regular retail shop. I have also purchased gorgeous artwork for my home for what seems like a shockingly low price tag. There are also very cool finds for gifts that your friends and family will love. That's the whole appeal of HomeGoods. Which brings me to my three star rating. This shop has increased in price on their furniture and other home furnishings. Specifically tables, chairs, dressers, etc. This is a discount shop, and I see no discounts on the furniture. Sadly, the prices are higher than even that of Ikea, but with slight defects and damage that you'd expect would be taken into consideration. The small items (candles, sundries) have remained at the same low price. But I'm not sure why they decided to hike up the furniture. The lamps are outrageous. The location is well kept, however. The lines always move quickly and I feel right at home there. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this chain to my family and friends, and as long as most of the merchandise remains affordable, I'll be coming here with my hubby for years to come. read more

This store is not abiding by their own COVID-19 protocols. The store was FULL on a Saturday evening at 5:45pm. There was no line outside of the store to curb the population inside the store. Clusters of people all across the already crowded aisles. It also appears there is waaaaaaaaay too many merchandise out on the floor and not enough space to comfortably walk around other customers. When brought to the attention of the manager (Lily - Sunday 1/16/21 6:pm), she promptly argued with me and insisted they were abiding by it. Well...Either Lily is blind or just picked an argument with the wrong customer. She insisted there was only 70 people on the floor. Sorry b*t h there was more than that and your staff also needs to do better in terms of cleaning because I found an empty drink container on the shelves. I probably wouldn't have written this review if the manager didn't act like such a condescending b*tch, but she did. Seriously?! How are you gonna tell me there's not a lot of people in the store when my own eyes and experience tell me otherwise. Maybe Lily already got her COVID vaccine or had the disease earlier last year that she thinks she's immune. I love shopping here because of all the amazing "finds," but glad to see (after reading other reviews) that I'm not the only one who's had horrific issues with customer service. Awhile back I did a return for a tea pot that I bought on impulse. Had it in the box for a week or 2 and then decided to return it since I really didn't need it. When I did, the supervisor accused me of using it and made me feel like a con artist. I keep kicking myself for not standing up about it. I was just so shocked and so taken by surprise and so embarrassed that I just told her that I definitely did not use it. She went on and on about me lying but said she would take the return this once. I just left after that, completely horrified by the whole thing. Wish I took her name down too.
