Very nice Target that is not a "Super Target." While they do have some groceries here, it's a limited selection particularly for meats and produce. Clothing, electronics, housewares, pharmacy, personal care, all of this stuff is neatly shelved under bright lights and with wide aisles. My shopping cart worked brilliantly with four good wheels. Such a change from the Wally World. The story is tidy and well stocked. Especially in menswear where there was a big selection of tshirts, socks and underwear. Checking out was quick. Horrible employees, 2 just standing around. Asked for help they told me not my job. Nothing in stock that was listed for their summer specials. One person at register, manager, walked up, saw this, then walked away without a word. Shelves were a mess. Only people that looked super high standing around back door. Empty shelves, no one working, one person at check out. This is by far the most disgusting and empty Target, avoid this location. read more

This location is just as Target as any other I've been to...the staff was friendly and helpful and overall the store was tidy.

You guys should really consider not having a freaking cell phone carrier sales-person standing in the middle of the tech section being buggy at shoppers walking by. I did my grocery shopping today and was about to spend $50+ on headphones but your young sales guy was annoying me asking me questions over and over, so I just kept walking and will get the headphones later this weekend at Meijer down the road instead. Who doesn't love target?  It's the place you go to get toilet paper and bring home half the store but forgetting the toilet paper.  We originally came stopped real quick because I had to use the bathroom on our way home and since lur local Target went out of business, we wanted to take the opportunity to look around. The bathrooms were clean and things seems generally organized at least where we went in the store.  My husband loves trading cards and they were well stocked.  The employees were friendly but not over bearing with "how can we help you".  There seemed to be plenty of employees randomly throughout the store so you don't have to sell your soul to find an employee close by. Re-writing this as it seems my review has been deleted. The bathrooms are TERRIBLE. the store its self is decent with a good selection, but the bathrooms never seem to be clean. I am in and out of this target 3-4 times a week with the same sight everyday. There are smudges on the wall that suggest some one decided not to use the toilet. One of said smudges has been there since I started frequenting this location, and that was over a year ago. Guys, the smudge has changed colors. There is a cleaning check list on the back of the door that is almost never kept up with or signed off on. I've even been in the restroom when it is signed off on, the employees with enter the restroom sign the paper and walk out. That's it. No actual cleaning is done. Toilet seats are broken and almost unusable, and if you can sit done on them correctly they might slide to one side or another causing you to either almost fall into the toilet bowl or actually fall in. The first sink as you enter the restroom has also been broken for months with no signage saying so and no obvious plan to get the issue fixed. If you are to shop here, do no use the restroom. Go to dicks or a different location with in the parking lot, or you'll regret it. This target needs to work on their cleaning especially when it comes to actual waste being on the walls for days, weeks, and months. I'm forced to be at target due to my work but if I wasn't, I would never return. And if I did, I wouldn't even walk down the restroom hallway as I'm sure that's its own biohazard. Target on 28th, step it up, I shouldn't have to avoid touching the walls because of fecal matter being on said wall. Why are two out of five of the toilet seats broken? Why isn't the first sink fixed as it's been complained about since fore the first of the year? Why can I count on that one smudge of poop to always be staring back at me when I do my business? read more

The new refusing looks great, but the men's department is (still) pitiful. The clothes are just in mounds on the shelves and floor, and no one ever seems to straighten or work the stock in this section. It's quite unpleasant to shop this way. read more

This is the Target I frequent most often as it's easy to get to and convenient to other places I visit. I've never noticed any issues with the store being dirty or a complete disaster as other Yelpers have mentioned. Sometimes the women's clothing area (specifically the clearance section) is a little messy, but I usually avoid that section in general. I don't ever really ask for assistance--I know this Target pretty well so I usually can find everything I need, so my main interactions with employees are when I check out. The employees working the checkouts are typically friendly and polite, so no complaints there. I like this Target because it has a grocery section, including produce and dairy. I don't usually buy a ton of produce at Target, but it's nice to have that convenience if I'm in a pinch. I've definitely bought plenty of pantry items at Target! This location stocks beer and wine so it's a good stop if you need to pick up some items for a party or get together. I love shopping at Target for gifts for birthdays or celebrations, as they have lots of fun decor items, gifts, cards, and gift bags / gift wrap. The makeup section at this Target has been hit or miss for me as sometimes things have been out of stock. The self checkouts are nice at this location. Also as a bonus, there is a ton of parking and the lot has never been full whenever I go! read more

Not one of the better Targets. Not one single pair of men's pants in waist size 42, not a one. Nothing larger, and only two pairs of men's pants size 40 waist, less than 6 in size 38. I guess they hate fat guys. No Ritter cornflake chocolates, no Tim Tams, so they may be trying to reduce American obesity but maybe they just don't inventory very well. 55 minutes before closing time they shut down every single check out line with human cashiers AND blocked off and shut down every self service check out. This resulted in a lot of shoppers walking up, then down, then back up again as they begrudgingly reopened a couple of shuttered check out lanes. The dangerous outcome of this was no safe distancing and virtually no one was wearing masks. I looked it up, this is an area with low vaccination rates and relatively high rates of new cases. Someday this pandemic will end, but I suspect this Target's callous and dismissive customer service will continue. I recommend this store for people with low esteem and a desire to passively encounter deadly communicable diseases. read more

I think Target tries to be all things to all people and it fails most of the time. For example: they carry exercise equipment, but just enough to annoy you that didn't just go somewhere else. Another example: they carry Braun shavers, but not most of the replacement blades, screens, etc. Too many times I've come here looking for something only to be disappointed and I end up going somewhere else. read more

Andrea R. Target in Grand Rapids is not requiring guests to wear masks during the COVID-19 pandemic. When I asked the checkout guy why this was the case, he said that because they don't have enough masks to give out, they weren't making it a requirement. I am pretty sure they are not handing out shoes at the door, but they are a requirement. Seems they are putting profit about public safety. This is the worst Target I've ever been to. We went first thing in the morning to find some fall/winter clothes and shoes for our daughter. The aisles were a mess. The staff was wandering around looking bored. Their children's section was full of clearance summer items and a tiny rack of cold weather clothing - at the end of September! We left with nothing. This is a newer building and it's very nice. They have a nice selection over all. The clothing they carry are good brands. They have a descent house wares section, along with toys and electronics. They also have a grocery section, it's not huge but good. There is also a cafe section for coffee and food on site. read more

I like this Target a lot. The employees are friendly and willing to help, and I feel like the store is cleaner than Meijer's or other places around here. I have a Red Card (the debit version) and it takes 5% off every time I go there. It's really helpful. There's even a Starbucks and a Pizza Hut Express so I can get lunch there if I want. read more

My experience here was great UNTIL John at the self check out (8/15 1:20ish) so rudely started looking through a backpack I had bought. Didn't say a word. Just picked up the bag & started going through it. I asked him what he was doing as I was puzzled because he didn't say a single word to me when he walked up. His reply was he has to do this to every bag. Understandable but his approach made me uncomfortable & came off as rude! At least say what you are going to do before doing it. Greet me politely. They have crazy bad customer service for target. There were like seven cashiers standing around talking and no lanes open. It was bizarre and they were so rude. I almost left without anything. Everyone was waiting in a long line at the self checkout, and not one cashier opened a lane. So confused and will not be returning to this target. read more

Spacious Target that was surprisingly well-stocked and organized the day after Christmas. I was particularly shocked to see how much Xmas merchandise they still had at 9.30am on the 26th -- seriously, any of the Targets in the DC area would have been stripped bare of all the discounted ornaments, decorations and wrapping paper! read more

I hardly go to this Target because of the location. I find it difficult to get to and out of. The location is not too accessible. Their previous location on 28th St to the West was much more accessible. In the present location, I find them set back too far from 28th St, snaking thru the narrow driveway from 28th st. And if that's not bad enough when you get there the parking lot is also hard to navigate. read more

The staff at this store is mostly young and are there to just pickup a paycheck. They are either mute when you ask for help, or they tell you to walk the length of the store to ask someone else. There has been zero training in what customer service is. They find every excuse and reason not to help customers. The phone was broken at the pharmacy, and I spoke to six employees. Not one of whom would simply walk over to the pharmacy to find out what was wrong. After 45 minutes of being directed from person to person I demanded to talk to the store manager on duty. I was told he was busy and could not come to the phone for 15 minutes. I waited. The manager tried to pass the buck. I told him I know the pharmacy is a separate entity. The problem was with his employees who would not lift a hand trying to reach the pharmacy on the phone. The manager started interrupting me at which point I told him his employees do not have any idea how to problem solve, address customers, please customers, find creative solutions like taking a simple walk to the pharmacy and leaving my name and number with the pharmacist. This is completely managements fault. The loss of revenue from refusing to assist buyers must be staggering. The store manager should be fired! read more
