Target is one of my go-to big box department stores whenever I travel. I can always find some bottled water, replacement travel-sized toiletries, office supplies, and occasionally a grocery section where I can pick up carrot sticks and dried cranberries for snacks. This particular Target inside of the Holyoke Mall had all of that, and more. It's a bit tricky to find the entrance to this store from the outside of the mall, as it's located up on the second level of the parking deck, and you have to wander around the inside of the mall before you find the entrance. Once inside, you'll find a very clean store with quite the selection of merchandise. The health & beauty area is located near the back door to the parking lot, and that's where I found the low-priced travel-sized toothpaste, mouthwash, razors, deodorant, etc. After that it was up and down the aisles of the grocery section, and a quick tour through all of the general merchandise. Do yourself a favor and look through the greeting cards section while you're there. These are some of the smirkiest and most hysterical cards that I've ever seen, and I'll usually pick up several to send out to family members throughout the year. They are seriously funny, and in some cases, wildly inappropriate. This is a great place to just pop in if you need a few basic items, or a store where you can wander the aisles and do a lot of your shopping. read more

I've never been to a target I didn't like Until this one. Almost everyone is rude usually one cashier and the self check out closed. Returns are in the back with pick up a different place they only have one person there. It's the worst target I've been too ever. read more

If I had to give this store a rating I would give it 2/5 stars. Reason being for my 2/5 stars is the service here is unreachable here by phone. No one answers the phone ! I have called numerous times back to back for different departments and no one answers. Also half of the time I come to this location I can't find what I am looking for because it's either not sold at this location or "hasn't been unloaded from the truck". Don't come here if you love getting clearance items, the workers never label the items right. I had to ask on multiple occasions for the price to be input into the check out lane because it always scanned as regular price. However, the workers here like to blame people for their lack of work. Instead of rectifying their mistake, they will treat you like you're trying to steal an item. EVEN WHEN THEY SEE MULTIPLE OF SAID ITEM IN THE CLEARANCE SECTION. Don't get me wrong, I can pay for it. But why should I pay for an item that is on sale. Target needs to get their act together with all the scandals they have going on. The least they can do is mark their items correctly or get efficient workers that will do things right the first time. Would give zero stars if I could. read more

Really nice, clean and fresh Target. Convenient location right off of I-90. Prices seemed lower on many items than at Targets in the Boston and Providence areas. They also had a great selection of Día de los Muertos decorations and a lot of Latin foods. Staff was friendly and helpful. read more

Ummm, who doesn't love Target? For me, it's this Target or Enfield and I often pick this one. They've got a great variety of items (even had a bunch of Hanukkah stuff this year yay) and I've always found a ton of really great stuff that I've bought and absolutely didn't need. The customer service here can't be beat for a big box store. Every encounter I've had has been a positive one. The store is usually well stocked and clean. I love the grocery side too! Holy cow! They've got the best products and tons of healthy stuff. Love love love. read more

This is the closest Target to my friend's new apartment. It's attached to the Holyoke Mall. It's what you'd expect from a Target...large, clean, excellent prices, good customer service. While it has everything you need, this location does not have a full grocery store inside. Xie Xie!! read more

Amy our cashier had us fill out a credit card app which took no time at all. She was super attentive and friendly. Nicest Target I have ever been too. Everything in the store is neatly organized, clean and easy to find. This Target has a massive sports card section which I am a huge fan of. Target is always awesome, especially Targets at the mall, it really makes the mall a one spot shop. This Target seems to bigger than the Endfield mall. There is nothing to hate about it. It's clean, organized, with really helpful staff. I absolutely love Targets. I can't say anything bad about. The only con I have is the parking outside the store, it's ridiculous and sometimes it gets a little chaotic in there, only my comparison to the Enfield one. Aside from that... no issues for this girl. I would totally come again, if I happen to be shopping at the mall. I wouldn't go out of my way to head to this one if I wasn't already in the area. I walk into the store and begin trying on glasses I've previously thought out to be exactly what I want. For the first 10 minutes I'm there, the woman working there tried convincing me that they were old-men's glasses and wouldn't look good on me. She said I was too young to wear ugly glasses. I don't think it's her place to say which glasses I should and shouldn't get unless I ask her for advice. Which I didn't. The woman I worked with is classy and clean but her manners aren't up to par. She turned to me after an argument with another customer to make herself feel better after they belittled her intelligence As for the ordering of the glasses, I brought an electronic picture version of my prescription. She was unwilling to take that at first. However, once she saw I was insured she had no problem allowing me to fax the paper version of it later. I just ordered the glasses yesterday, perhaps the delivery will prove to be a better experience. For now, I advise against going there. Let's hope my glasses arrive within 7-10 business days like they said. :) read more

On a side note, because it's in Holyoke Mall, you have to deal with mall parking. And mall parking/moving here around the Target is horrid during peak hours. read more

This Target is pretty clean, well stocked, and pretty empty on a Friday night. An employee even asked me if I needed help, which is rare. She also startled me a bit; who knew that you could work at a Target in goth makeup? They have some food for sale here, but it's not a SuperTarget so don't expect fresh produce and meats. This is a pretty average department store. It's got everything you would typically expect and a grocery area as well. It is a slightly cleaner than average location from what I could see. I did not observe and meat eating vulture type birds flying on the hunt as was recently caught on film at a local walmart. If you don't believe me, Google it! It really happened. read more

Being in the area I decided to go to this Target to pick up some stuff. You'd think being 9 Days away from Christmas they would have more than one person in the electronics section. People waiting to check out, people waiting for help, people waiting to get stuff unlocked. Wtf? After waiting 15 minutes to get a camera we were on our frustrated way. We thought we were being helped after pushing the red help button on this help box thing in the electronics dept, but and associate just came over and shut it off. Overall, the store was unorganized, short staffed, and all the employees seemed miserable. One sad cashier with a line of people waiting. The Enfield store is so much better. Target in general is great, but as a mall employee I am very disappointed when I go to the cafe for my dinner break and it's not even 7:30, but they don't have hot dogs or pizza for me to eat. Target is very hard to explain some of there items are cheep. I once got a skate board from there and it wouldn't turn or even move. Wear as, just a few days ago I bot flip flops there and they work perfectly and are even comfortable to walk in. I also bot workout close and there are prefect they were inexpensive, but high quality. My sister bot sneakers there and she says they are very comfortable. They only cost $20. read more
