I went to this target for something very specific, but I found it an overall pleasant experience. I stopped at this Target because they have one of the best tea selections in the county. I was looking for some specific Tazo tea flavors and they had pretty much all the ones I wanted in stock. They also had a circle sale going on where it was BOGH on all tea and coffee. Can't argue with the deal like that! What a great value! I didn't really need any help, since I knew what I was looking for, but I will say that it was very easy to check the stock of the store before I came, and the inventory was accurately reflected at the store. Most things are organized and most of the staff are not very friendly except for the checker named Robert. If you're looking for good Black Friday deals they only have 40% off of certain things in the clothing section. The bathroom was the worst one I've ever ever ever been in. One of the sinks worked, toilets looked like they hadn't been cleaned in weeks, it was 90293739201° in there, toilet paper touches the floor and it's everywhere in the bathroom. The stalls, floors, mirrors, and sinks all have black sludge everywhere. I mean DISGUSTING. I wish I would have taken pictures.. My advice is to pay special attention to the bathrooms because it is definitely a health hazard in there. read more

I have always loved shopping at Target stores. They are always so clean and prices are very reasonable. Great household decor and gift ideas. Im glad this one is only 5 minutes from my house. It's my "go to" store just when I need milk. So much cheaper than Publix in the same location. read more

Any time I go to target it's because I need something really specific that I know they carry. Otherwise, I typically stick to a cheaper store and more specific for what I need. This location typically is a little bit dirty or unorganized. It is also a smaller location out of the target chain so at times you have to be aware on what you need. Went to Target to specifically look for the Zaru Toys Miniverse Fashion pack. I spent a long time looking thru the shelf trying to find the box with the fashion ones. Finally found it and the box was completely empty. The four display pieces behind the plastic on the box were some of the fashion purses and shoes I was looking for. There were 3 purses and one pair of shoes. I also work retail and knew they were just going to throw the empty box with the four display items in the garbage. So I figured I would ask to have the empty box with the display items. I was willing to even pay the price of what one or two of the actual items would have cost me. I went to the electronics section to ask for help since no one was in the toy section. She paged for help and I waited awhile. Went back to electronics because no one showed up. She then pointed out two young folks and said they could help. I asked them about getting the box and they said it was a question for guest services. The girl said it would depend on who you asked at the desk if they would let me or not. The young guy said "we are just going to throw the box out so if you want to just take the plastic off and take the items". And I said I wouldn't do that because I didn't want to be arrested for stealing four tiny toys. So I went up to guest services and asked if I paid for the cost of the toy, if I could just take the box with the display items. He said no, they can't do that because they send the box back to the vender. Working retail myself, I know they do not send that stuff back to the vender. I also had both the young girl and guy tell me they just throw them away. Since he wouldn't let me buy it from him, or even give it to me since they were going to throw it away anyhow, I now had to make a trip to Walmart to get what I was looking for. So I just left my cart with the other items I WAS going to buy and headed for Walmart. I am not a millionaire by any means but I shopped at Target quite frequently because I work nearby. But I won't be shopping there anymore. That is NOT how you take care of a customer. The store I work at expects me to take care of the customer. For example, yesterday I had a customer wanting to buy a product. It was missing two AAA batteries. The smallest pack of AAA batteries we sell is an 8 pack. I marked the 8 pack down to a penny and sold the customer the item he wanted. And we are always giving things to customers for free when it is missing parts, damaged, or going to be thrown in the garbage. And I am ALLOWED and EXPECTED to do this by management. We did drive up pickup for our order but they didn't give us several items. We called up and they found the missing bag. Unfortunately we had issues with getting disconnected whenever we called up there so it took lots of extra effort just to get our order. Gwen is quite an asset to your store. I have never been to any BIG store where an associate has not only told you where to look for something, but actually offered to go get it! Gwen correctly told me where two items were located. She offered to go get one of the items and to meet me at the location where she told me the other item was located. Elijah was very helpful and friendly with the drive up service. I haven't been inside so I can't vouch for that, but he was chatty and assisted in getting all my groceries in safely and efficiently. Usually I will go into the store for any kind of pick up orders but today I decided to do drive up simply because I was in a bit of a hurry and had other errands to run. I have never done drive up at this Target location so I was not sure on where the pick up spots were prior to my arrival. Long story short this Targets spots are clear across the parking lot which was crazy to me. With such a big parking lot I'm surprised they didn't have it a little closer. WELL literally 60 seconds after saying I was here, a very sweet young man by the name of Elijah came walking up to my car. He was so quick and very nice. He definitely deserves some praise for sure. This store is located in the Largo Mall which is in the southeast corner of the intersection of East Bay and Missouri/Seminole Blvd. in Largo. Like other area Target stores, it has gone through a major renovation. Consequently, the store is redesigned and (in my opinion) has greatly improved the shopping experience. The merchandise seems more upscale and aisles aren't as narrow as before. There is a limited grocery area but if you need a full on grocery at Target then stop by the Target at Gulf to Bay and US19. Overall, I was very impressed with the new store setup and I can definitely recommend stopping by for a visit. read more

The worst target in all the land :( the kid who does drive up literally has never gotten an order right- he always puts random stuff in my trunk and I always have to check to make sure he didn't give me other people's orders and he always forgets a bag or several bags of my items. I do drive up because I have toddlers who can be very difficult in the store. Today I went in to shop with my 3 year old who was having a hard time because he is 3 and wants every single toy he sees- there are 4-5 employees standing at checkout and as I look over at them a worker immediately says "I HAVE NOONE TO CHECK YOU OUT THERES NOONE HERE TO DO CHECK OUT" ooooookayyyyy... anyways I was halfway done doing self checkout and I had a good bit of stuff and they open up a checkout lane--- I wish they'd be more helpful to moms with young kids because my son proceeded to lose his as I'm taking 20 mins to check out my stuff. Meanwhile your employees are getting paid to stand there and watch me do their job. COOL. A lot of the food is expired/rotten, the shelves are messy and unorganized, and it's just an all around dirty store. I use to like target. With that said, the target at Largo Mall the last four times I've been there has totally turned me off from target. I actually find it rare now that they have anything in stock that I'm looking for. They advertise assorted muffins on their website, yet the last four times I have been they either have no muffins or they don't have the assorted ones. This is just one example.If you are going to advertise something and make it a big deal you need to have it in stock. A few days ago I tried to reach the electronics section. I let it ring 10 times with no answer. Then I had to call again and go through the whole menu to reach customer service, and guess what? Let it ring 10 times and no one answered at customer service. You know, the people that are supposed to answer when other departments don't. I went to target's website and the person in chat told me she would have the store manager contact me. That was nearly 2 weeks ago. So, apparently do they not just not answer their phones, but they can't get back to customers when they are contacted via the target corporate website. I now spell target with the small t, Because they have evolved into a lesser version of what they used to be. Sad. Their new slogan should be... "Target-The New Walmart." read more

Clean store that is great for browsing. I have to be honest, usually when I come to this Target I don't have a shopping list. I'm a wanderer - I like to slowly saunter up and down the aisle seeing if anything catches my eye. This Target is pretty much the same as most Targets. They have a good array of bathing suits and women's clothes. Seriously, if you have never thought to shop for clothes at Target, you are missing out. If your visit happens to fall after a major chocolate holiday, make sure you visit the back left corner for discounted sweets. Put it on your calendar to visit the day after Easter, Christmas, and Valentine's Day. You can get chocolate for 30-70% off! The further away from the holiday, the better the sale. My one critique is they don't have a great selection of natural shampoo/conditioner/body wash. I really wouldn't expect them to, but Publix has surprised me in the past. I was lazy and picked up the Target brand for body wash and lotion, but normally I'll go to Rollin Oats to buy products that I can pronounce all the ingredients. This Targets policy for dogs locked in a vehicle in their parking lot is NOT TO make an announcement to contact the owner if the vehicle. We found this out today. It is 81° outside and we asked for help because a small long haired dog was locked inside a vehicle with the windows rolled up. We did call the police to have the unfortunate animal rescued. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Target. Like, really love Target. I willingly and happily pay their inflated prices for the pleasure of shopping there. With those inflated prices I expect to get AT LEAST a basic level of customer care. So when I was completing my weekly shopping trip this evening, a Friday, at 5:30pm, I expected to find at least a few checkout lanes open. NOPE. Only the express lane light was on and ALL of the self checkouts where open. I had much more than 10 items and I couldn't do self checkout because I was purchasing a gift card as well. When I asked one of the 5 employees who were aimlessly wandering around the checkout area which lanes were open, the manager (I assume because he was strutting around like a he owned the place...) stated only the express lane and self checkouts were open, with a smug attitude... how dare I ask such a question. I would understand this if it was late in the evening, near closing time. But no. The store was fairly busy and only one assisted checkout lane was available. And it was express. WTF Target?! Your holier than thou managers really need to get it together and assess the needs of their customers... and do it without attitude. It's their job. read more

Never have had an issue at this target. They make returns and exchanges quick and easy. They have multiple self checkouts so I never have to wait in a line line. And they have pretty much everything you need here! Department store combined with a grocery store. read more

To keep it all short, this store is not the best BUT it's an ok shopping experience. There's a lot of people without mask and the workers don't do anything about it, tons of teenagers especially at night that are wild and annoying, and the workers look like they don't care about their job. Every time I come to this store, I never ever leave with everything I need. I went there yesterday needing very basic items and I assumed they would have it. I mean, come on, they were basic everyday items, nothing special. This is the worst target I've ever been to! No organization, no customer service, nothing! I had an online order that I went in to pick up. Instead of it being a fast process I was there for an hour while they looked for my stuff and they can't find my Xmas tree that I bought for my daughters first Xmas. What an amazing disappointment this store was. I get to the check out the cashier informs me they are havin technicalcal issues. We would not be able to use a credit card to pay. Then the cashier was unable to process our order. The person in charge then come up and raised her voice to me and said there busy. After 3 tries, the store was unable process our order so we left. What happened to customer service. They wasted 45 minutes of my time. Never did anyone i talk to use empathy just non sincere apologizes. First let me start by saying I LOVE Target. It's one of the greatest places on Earth. I especially love going there alone...with no time constraints...and slowly perusing the extra wide aisles. Grab some (awesome!) popcorn and an icee and it's a recipe for happiness. They have the easiest most hassle free return policy. You don't even have to have your receipt if you have the card you purchased it with. Using their store credit card gives you an automatic 5% off of every purchase at the register. Having said all of that, this particular Target location is no good. They have a very limited selection of items to choose from, while consistently having completely empty shelves in certain areas. I used to think they had a pretty decent shoe selection, but I haven't purchased shoes here years. They remodeled to incorporate a grocery section which has proven to be very convenient at times, but this is not a Super Target. It is nowhere near big enough. read more

My girlfriend and I went to the Largo Mall Target this morning we was there at 8:45 a.m. the security guard said that they were only letting in people over 65 and the ones with immune system deficiencies that could possibly have a threat to this Coronavirus. So we moved away from the security personnel and the only door that they had open to avoid everyone no one else was there. This gentleman walks up not very appealing at all, and keeps getting a little closer and a Little Closer wanting to have a conversation, I told him sir we need to maintain at least 6 ft distance or more would be even better there's no one else out here and there's plenty of space. He kind of laughed and moved a little closer, in a louder voice I informed him of the cdc's rule of six foot and he needed to maintain his 6 what distance from my girlfriend and myself it security personnel Target's security Personnel had no problem hearing this but yet he said absolutely nothing to this man. The man started a meaningless conversation with the security guard. At that time people started to approach and began to gather out front waiting for the store to open for everyone show the man walks back over again close to my girlfriend and I we backed up our backs were literally against a brick wall the man still moved a Little Closer I told him in a very loud voice sir you will back up maintain your 6ft distance! He laughed again the security guard still said nothing to this gentleman. The security man that was working for Target informed everyone the store will be opening soon in a couple of minutes, I'm not sure if they were unlocking the doors or what but this man approached right up to me and my wife almost coming into physical contact then I shouted at him informing him if you do not maintain your distance I will clear my 6-foot area it is the cdc's rules and regulations for the federal government and you will give me my space. A security guard in the store which had it been alerted by the other guard comes out screaming at me sir leave my store you will not threaten anyone here! We were back against a brick wall and this man kept approaching so when I M forced my 6-foot rule I was told to leave the store and not to come back. Not only did this happen there was a group of about 20 people standing in front of the store less than six foot from each other and the security guard never said anything to anyone about dispersing in maintaining their distance from each other. The only people he ever said that the storm was concerned about was their employees maintaining their distance from possibly infected customer! Wow so Target could care less about the customers or this security guard would have made sure that this guy stopped approaching me he would have asked him to keep him maintain his distance which was never done he never asked the crowd to disperse no crowd larger than 10 should be together at any one time that is the rules. With that being said if you go to this target do not think they have your best health interest in mind because it was proven first thing this morning they could care less about their customers. I called the store manager she informed me that she was told a different story but she would look into it with a very disbelieving tone. So I had to ride a public transport bus round trip about 8 Miles to and from Target for absolutely no reason whatsoever my first trip out of the house and almost 2 weeks which should have been an enjoyable trip and I should have gotten what I needed and I obtained absolutely zero of the items that I went to purchase. Not that it makes a difference but the man that started all this which obviously homeless and a panhandler which was not going to spend one penny in the store. Good luck with this target I will never return. As soon as I did get home Governor Ron DeSantis issued a Statewide stay-at-home order with that being said that says a lot about the lack of attention to detail and the laws in place to prevent the spread of this virus to the public. At 2PM, on a week day, the store was backed up by at least 10 people in the 2 lanes that were open. Even the self check out had a big line! There definitely needed to be at least 2 more lanes open with cashiers. I was just shopping at this Target with my two kids and when my car wouldn't start, we walked back in and asked the young woman at customer service if someone could help me get a jumpstart on the battery. She said she didn't think so but at least offered to ask her manager to see if anyone could help. When we found the manager named Barbara and asked her for help, all she said was no there wasn't anyone to help me. I was standing there at 9:30 at night with two kids and told her my husband was out of town. She just said no there's no one that can help. I couldn't believe how rude and unwilling she was to help me out. I'll be spending my money at a different store. read more

Unfortunately, the target in Largo mall has made a turn for the worst! Target USED to be one of my favorite stores especially this location. The staff is incredibly rude and uninviting besides a cashier named Donald. They have an abundant amount of employees on the floor and yet only one register is open. I have yet had somebody come up to me and offer their assistance or even just a friendly "Hello, how are you today?" Besides the fact that their staff has no customer service skills, their prices have become remarkably high in the past year. I'm all for having security in stores, however it becomes a problem when they make your customers feel uncomfortable by staring at you the whole time you check out. I honestly can say I have never felt to unwelcomed in a store, and that's sad to say the least because the target was once my favorite go to the store when they had a garden section and staff was friendly and inviting. read more

Rude cashiers is an understatement. I went to check out and stood behind a man who visibly had his bags packed. Good. I should be next. Nope. He and the cashier just stand there. She is slowly loading plastic Target bags into the holster. She says nothing to me. We stand there longer. She and he make chit chat. More waiting. I try to make eye contact with her. But she's not having it. Wait continues. A woman finally walks up holding a cell phone and trying to get it to work(?). The cashier scans the phone and then tells the woman "I just told him I was going to put your order on hold but I found some bags to hang up to pass the time. So we just waited for you." They all chuckled. The couple leave and I'm next. Just a couple items. She rings them through. I ask "I forgot my Target card at home. Anyway to put my phone number in?" She gives a swift "Nope!" And gives me the total. No apologies for anything or thanks for shopping here. I paid and she starts ringing the next customer. Didn't hand me my bag of which she only put some items in and some on the counter (wtf?!). I quietly tell her thank you. And she barely looks over her shoulder to acknowledge me. Wow. Just.
