This review is overdue. I've been to this location several times over the years. This review is for a specific visit on the evening of Sunday, 01-08-23. I went to support the debut of Tabitha Brown's products. Evidently, so did everyone else; almost all of her food products were sold out. I'm not vegan but I've enjoyed some vegan products here and there. I bought the vegan lemon dill pasta salad. This chain store location is popular and busy. You may be looking for an item and it's out of stock here. It's typically crowded and in a shared shopping center. You are lucky to find a good park in the front. Staff are nice but like most store they would be if it from hiring more people. The value depends sometimes you can get a good sale and other times it's a bit overpriced. read more

You know target is a hit or miss kind of thing. This one by Matthew that I go during my break is a life saver. My homerun. Always look for deals and clearance when at target. You find really cute stuff for good price. By suggestion don't ever buy cloths that aren't on sale or some sort of deal... things are ok quality but not as good as priced. Also, definitely only worth it if you vm have their red card. Stay away from the drive up ok bad weather days.... They will tell you to go in for pick up. read more

This location is pretty big and renovated. I did come on a Saturday, so it was quite BUSY, to say the least. Parking was full, but I was able to snag one almost at the front. There is a big parking lot so there are plenty of spaces to choose from. Inside was pretty clean but just so much traffic. The makeup section was picked apart and crowded, so I just opted to stay away. Other than that, it is a great location and has a variety of things and is well stocked. I would try to avoid going on weekends as it seems it's always so crowded when I go on weekends. read more

We ended up walking the entire store for odds & ends. Grabbed a bathroom mat for the guest bath (hubby slipped using the towel mat & busted his a**) - I grabbed the same mat I have at gone with grippy bottom- no sliding! Add show insoles & nail files & sis bought a bunch of stuff too- we hit most departments. Target fulfilled our needs of the day. read more

This target location is okay... It always seems busy though and the parking lot is a madhouse. My biggest pet peeve is people just parking their cars in front of the store like they own the place even though there is a clearly marked fire lane and no standing zones in the front of the store! Ugh! Guess you can't control people - they'll end up doing what they want anyways. Target is getting better about not having long lines and getting in and out okay. You can sometimes find good deals on the end-caps for items they are trying to move off the shelves. read more

What has happened to this location of Target?? The shelves are practically empty. Staff standing around yapping to each other. Theres only two lines open for checkout and wait times to checkout are 30 mins long. Again staff just standing around watching all this. Standard Target-- relatively clean though the bathrooms are kind of gross. This is the one closest to me so I keep coming here-- but the one on Rea Road is newer and a lot bigger so if I have time, I prefer going to that location. Also-- the last few times I've been here, it sounds like there is drama between the manager and the employees, all the employees keep whispering about it and normally it doesn't really bother me, except today I couldn't get through an aisle because a group of employees was hanging out there complaining. I know that employees can complain in general, but it's disappointing to get the feeling that this Target isn't taking better care of their employees. read more

This Target...let's say, I'm now big on customer service and convenience. This is the #1 Target for placing a order for the 2 hour drive up and it being ready in an hour or less. I'm constantly placing orders here, do much that I've given up on Wal Mart bc their app cant compete(and going inside is the worst). I simply place my order through the app and it's always ready in about an hour. 5 mins away I can say I'm on my way and by the time I pull up and check in, they are coming out with my bags. I love that convenience! Only once out of easily 50 trips over last year has it taken over 10 mins wait and/or been wrong. Today I went inside the store to pick up Children Zyrtec. In the app is said $4 off in store purchase. The cashier for some reason did not take the $4 off and I didn't realize it until I made it to my vehicle. Walked back in and within 5 mins I was receiving $4 cash. Now it's only $4 but the hassle free customer service is what I loved as I was ready to show the app and read out loud all of the fine print. I highly recommend this Target location! read more

So I purposely went to get 2 mirrors. They were bigger than I could handle and did not fit in the cart. I found a Target associate who was not the friendliest person but she did call and found someone to help me. This young man was very helpful by carrying the mirrors to the customer service desk. I asked if someone would be nice enough to help me put them in my car. He said yes. Needless to say I paid for my purchases and another young man put them in the trunk of my car. So i order a $800 tv for pickup. They state 2 hours for pickup. They'll send you a mail and text when it's ready . About 1.5 hours I call to check on it - they say - oh that's not in stock .. so, how was it available for purchase on the app - ? why did I get the confirmation that it was bought and how did the payment go thru? They used to do pretty good price matching with Walmart. My favorite tea just jumped up a dollar and a half. My favorite mascara just jumped up by five dollars. There is absolutely no associates in the store or at checkout. Just self check out. No service and raised prices. read more

I love this Target so much! There is a produce section along with a Starbucks. The staff has always been very kind to me and they take extra safety precautions such as cleaning each cart after each use! There is also a small section with pizza, pasta, slushees and other drinks. The electronics department needs a full overhaul and retraining of the staff. They lack empathy and ownership when it comes to the customers and make it obvious how much they dislike their job and providing service. Especially when you ask them a question. The rest of the store is finally starting to look better, but customer service in electronics department is embarrassing. read more

Drive up orders take over 20 minutes from the time you park. They always mess up the order. Nobody answers the guest services desk phone. Twice I've had to cancel pickup orders because they don't have them ready. read more

If you like to order target drive up please be advised that they do not offer it when it is raining. When I pulled up, I was told I need to go inside to pick up my order because of rain and that they were not offering drive up. A text would have been helpful to let me know ahead of time. This target has by far the worst customer service! Not only do the people who work at customer service desk do not know how to do there job, as simple as to help me put in an order for items that are out of stock but they are so rude about it! Also the cashiers straight up say they "don't want" honor prices, when the shelf price is clearly a different price! They waist my time going and looking at the price just to say no we cant or don't want to honor it. I cant say enough how employees are terrible to the customers! A women in front of me got yelled at because she wanted to price match to Walmart. I felt so bad for her! Regardless there are other targets that have great customer service. All of the parking spaces are super far from the door with the current parking set up, which makes me feel unsafe as it is so i try to avoid this location. Last month I needed a specific baby formula and they were the only location that had it in stock in all of Charlotte area (2 cans) so I tried to do a mobile order purchase. After 3.5 hours my order still was not ready and my baby needed to eat. I drove 30 minutes across town hoping it would be ready by the time I got there. It was not so I parked and went in to guest services and they refused to help me and told me it would be a few hours despite telling them my situation. I cancelled the order and went to get it myself. The only 2 cans in stock were on the shelf and could have easily been purchased by someone else while I was waiting then I would have been in an even worse situation. They really need to get it together. read more

My reivew on Google got deleted so posting it here instead. Bad experience with cashier named Martina!!! I show her the manufacturer's coupon on the phone which is specifically for Target, but she refuses to scan it saying it has to be from the Target app. I try to explain to her it has worked before, but she still says no! The coupon in question is for a Target gift card by Similac when you purchase one of their baby formulas. It has a unique one-time barcode which is specific my account. It is a valid coupon that I get monthly from Similac, and the coupon is specifically for Target (no other retailer), which has been accepted by Target previously. She says even if the system accepts it they are not supposed to be doing it, which sounds ridiculous because Target wouldn't allow the coupon to be scanned if they didn't want to accept it. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who gets those coupons. This has happened twice now with this same cashier (Martina). I've been shopping there for 6 months and no other cashier has done that. I shop at other Target locations and never had the problem. I didn't buy the baby formula and left. I will update my Similac account to send me coupons for Amazon rather than Target. For those who are not aware when you sign up for Similac coupons/offers you have to select either Target or Amazon offers. I selected Target because it is near by, but will switch to Amazon due to this negative experience with cashier. read more

I don't understand why this target is rated so low.... there's great customer service (you'll always have people that work there who are nicer and some who just don't care to help or be nice, but that's everywhere) but I really loved this target! It was very stocked in the isles I was in, like beauty, skincare, hair tools etc etc. Zoe was so so sweet and helped me track down a brush, couldn't be more patient and kind. I must have asked her a million questions but she always answered with a smile, and genuinely couldn't have helped me more. Thank you so much Zoe! I'm a Target fan. Isn't everyone? This Target is convenient to my home and, in general, will have the household selection, last minute classmate gifts, occasional quick meal for which we rely on Target to have. RARELY, however, will you find an employee on the floor who is either willing or able to offer assistance in finding items. This is disappointing. The selection of products for my hair is depressing and the store isn't very well organized. As a multitasking mom who tries to be diligent in planning my day, I will often go online to ensure the items I need are available in this store. On at least 3 occasions when I have confirmed availability, upon getting to the store, I am unable to locate the items, nor is the staff in customer service which pans out to a waste of time. I want this store to be great. For all the reasons I love Target, (coupons on coupons on coupons) I will continue to shop this store but I do hope it gets better, especially with all the growth happening in this area read more

This is a really so-and-so Target. It used to be pretty nice, but they've remodeled and re-arranged it so many times in attempts to squeeze more into it, that I think it's just gone down hill. You can't reliably go here for a specific item, because if you do, chances are it's going to be out of stock. In fact, you can't even reliably go here for a general item, because that will probably be out of stock too. I can't tell you how many times I've gone here to get, say, a pack of men's undershirts, and the entire section has been sold out of larges in every single brand. Another disparagement: some of the people who work here are really nice. Others are just damn cranky. A recent incident involved a manager who wouldn't get off her cell phone (making what sounded like a personal call) to answer a question. Seriously. She *shooed* me away. So yeah, I go here... but reluctantly, and because it's convenient. If I have a long shopping list, I drive a few extra miles to the location at Stonecrest. read more

Beware of being in a time crunch and relying on the photo developing machines to work. Once upon a time they worked without fail. And I made use of them frequently. Then time after time they were out of service. The customer service here- one employee in particular- can range from outrageously rude to barely adequate. I am pleased on the exceptional days when I actually find a smile behind the counter. The check out clerks are generally friendly. In general the cashiers- away form the CS counter- are very friendly. Certain products (hangers especially) seem to be chronically understocked. However they have a great greeting card selection, some nice candles, and of course all the good deals they're known for. Don't buy the Zazen dishes- they fall apart if you look at them funny. read more

How bad is it when you don't want to go to Target? The issue I have with this Target location is the crowd capacity. Every weekend it's like Christmas shopping season. You can see the packed parking lot from 51. I personally would rather go to 3 different stores in less crowded areas then go to this target on a weekend. In fact I have driven out of my way to go to Wal-Mart in Indian Trail just so that I don't have to go to this Target. The designers should have doubled or expanded this location a long time ago and now with the addition of the fresh food department to the store I'm sure even more people will be shopping here. read more

The parking lot here is AWFUL. I'm so glad you all took the time to make sure you could put in landscaping... BUT I would rather be able to park close to the store. The layout of the parking lot is awkward and I actually ended up parking over in front of AC Moore. This place was pretty busy for a weekday. When it was time to checkout, the lines were pretty long. I of course picked a line where first a girl cuts in front of me from the middle and then the cashier doesn't know how to manually input coupons that won't scan. I left and moved to a line with a shorter line. But of course in this line the cashier decided he thought the belt was dirty and wanted to clean it while he had customers in line. I understand cleaning the belt if you have a lull in customers or if it's IMPERATIVE but there was nothing that dirty on the belt. Overall - it's everything you know and love about target but the parking was awful and they did a bad job getting customers out at the checkout. Not a fan. read more

I an unsure how Samantha and Paula are in a team lead position because both of these females are incapable of practicing great customer service. Paula definitely does not like her job, talks about all the things she has to do to satisfy customers and then state "but it's my job." Lady if you are do unhappy then quit. Samantha on the other hand is an emotional wreck and does not even know how to read a receipt, if you are the team lead then why is it so hard for you to read plain English? Then has the nerve to catch an attitude when your incompetence is called out. Target please do thorough background checks before retaining what you may consider "talent" because you may end up with "Basket Case" of employees such as Samantha and Paula. We all know Target. Big, bright, and friendly. Have some doubts about this one. Walked around for about 45 minutes and no one said hello even. There was someone picking a order and once she just pushed by me and twice I had to ask her to love because she was blocking the aisle. I don't like self checkout. It takes away jobs. Target did not have one checkout open. Not one. Self checkout only. Even Wallyworld seems to always have one checkout open. read more

Literally the worst target I've been to. Not only are the shelves rarely stocked (which was an issue prepandemic) and the store is dirty and outdated, literally a third of the shoppers were unmasked. I almost turned around and walked out due the blatant disregard for public health and safety. So disappointing being that this is my closest target, but moving forward I'll be driving out further. read more
