This Target is okay. It's usually pretty clean, and prices are good. The one thing though that SUCKS is getting out of here. They almost never have enough lanes open. Seriously, there are like 20 lanes and there have been plenty of times at 4:30-ish where only 1 lane is open. One!! Totally absurd. I was there yesterday and waited for literally 10 minutes while a price had to be checked. The manager took forever, and never once apologized. They never say sorry for delays. I go here b/c it's convenient to me on my way home, but I hate how inept their check-out process is here. I see tons of workers, yet rarely anyone on lanes. Stupid. On a side note, I feel the quality of their clothes has gone downhill, but that's more corporate Target's fault than anything. read more

This is regarding Jasmine in the tech department. I wouldn't say she is a good tech person. I would say she is way beyond FANTASTIC! She had a lot of patience and a lot of skill, going (I believe) above and beyond to help me out. I had a cell phone that went kaput (in the peak of the carona virus). Couldn't get in touch with AT&T. Abysmally long wait times. The non functioning phone was so old that the sim card would not fit into any of the new phones. She spent a lot of time troubleshooting the problem and sent me off with a functioning phone. (The tech guy in Wal Mart lied to me - long story.) I had been disappointed in Target because they were one of the first stores to disallow the Salvation Army (a wonderful organization) to solicit in front of their stores. I personally boycotted Target for the most part. But after my bad experience with the tech dept. at Wal Mart, it looks like I'll have to give Target another chance. I practically live here!!! This Target is ten minutes from my house and they have everything!! Groceries...check! Clothes...check! Starbucks lattes...check!! Pharmacy...check!! Optometrist...check! Fresh veggies...check!! Bakery...check!!! And so on. Its great. The people that work here are always willing to help find anything you need. The clearance racks can be a bit messy at times but there's always someone there trying to fix it up. Lol. Yes indeed this Target is very SUPER!!! read more

I went to the target at Melrose Park today trying to score a bedding set for a great door buster price. Apparently there were no more in stock at that price, so I grabbed a different colored one, same style and brand. I go to the register and the girl Is like let me check the price. Ok fine. Then that girl asks another girl and all rude she's like no only marked ones are on sale ok well how would I know what ones are at that price when you still have the price up take it down morons. Then I go back to ask to speak to the manager and Andy comes to me and is like let me check. He comes back and is like no no more and would not honor that price. So fuck you target lost my business. This location is okay simple selection. a lot of parking, the huge problem here is not just the plain selection which is worse than other Target locations, but the fact you must (every time) stand in a long line to cash out. It seems that this store is bereft of coworkers and especially cashiers, you can never find a small line when you really need to get in and out of this location in a hurry. read more

I love Target, but this is "my" Target. I love the new grocery selection. However, I had to go there today regarding a pair of shoes I had bought. I had wore them once and my feet were actually bleeding. I didn't have packaging, a receipt - anything. However, I bought them with my debit card so they were able to look up the transaction and credit my account no questions asked. Thats service! read more

This Target is absolutely 100% REVOLTING. Shopping for food? Forget it! Literally almost everything you pick up is expired or going to be expired within the next few days. There is mold growing from the bottoms of the shelves in the market department and bugs everywhere. Need assistance? Good luck! Not an employee to be found with how understaffed they are and when you do find one they're way too busy to assist you. I recently just started coming here a lot more lately and every single time I do come, it's extremely disappointing. I bought a smart watch for my girlfriend and when she opened it on Christmas day there was NO WATCH INSIDE THE BOX.I spent almost $300 on A BOX. Mind you, the box it came in was completely sealed and there was no indication that it had ever been returned. Does their guest service team not know how to properly check items? I wasn't able to get the item exchanged because of their lack of inventory. Thankfully I was able to get my money back! If I would've known better, I would've taken my business across the lot to Best Buy. At least there I know what I'm buying is brand new. read more

I am so disgusted with this store. Not the chain Target - this particular Target location. If you want customer service, DO NOT SHOP HERE. Seriously. After moving here in 2004, I was happy to know I had a Target store a couple miles from my home. Its location came in very handy when setting up our new home. Due to the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, I continued to shop there for all non-food items on a monthly basis. When this store (my local Target) started carrying groceries, I was very excited. I gave their food a try and was quite satisfied. (I had been shopping at Jewel) I immediately began buying all my groceries at this store, visiting at least once per week for over a year. As time went by, I noticed the quality of their staff started to decline. By this time, I knew several cashiers quite well and had many discussions regarding my surprise at the evident decline in proper Customer Service. Much to my surprise, I was always agreed with! Due to the convenience of having other non-grocery products available for my purchase during my weekly grocery shopping being so convenient, I made every effort to remain a customer of this Target. Sometime around 2014, I came to know a cashier by the name Vivian. She is the only delight remaining in this Hell Hole. I finally could take no more of Target on a weekly basis when they began moving their products from place to place, so much so that the staff even had to walk around with me looking for items I had purchased the week before and were nowhere to be found. Please note: "We" were always able to find the product. This hassle began to outweigh the conveniences this location offered, so I went back to Jewel for groceries and visit this Target about once per month. Over the period of the next year, I was shocked to see the very apparent decay of this location: No one smiles-I mean No ONE. The store is a mess. The carts are always empty. The staff is reprehensible. Their lack of stock on hand has worked my last nerve. Trying to get my cart around massive amounts of product just sitting there waiting for someone to show up to fill the shelf...The list goes on and on. Today was the last straw. On my way home from collecting my daughter from her High School, she asked if we could stop by Target to get a particular eyeliner. Of course, I headed in that direction, very happy to know I would save 15% today. Once in the overly, overly, OVERLY messy store, and, after AGAIN noticing there was not a happy employee in sight, we made it to the makeup isle. After looking for 10 minutes, my daughter could not find the item so I started looking for an employee to help out. After wandering the area for about 5 minutes and seeing no employee but plenty of MESS, I went to a cashier and asked her to get someone for me. She said she would do that but never did. I could see her from the end of the isle where we stood and that Cashier never picked up her phone to call for someone. I was out of her sight and apparently, out of her mind as well. After waiting TEN MINUTES, I started walking down the isle where we line up to pay. I cam to two women employees that were filling the candy slots by the registers. I walked up and they were having a personal conversation about GOD KNOWS WHAT. I stood politely, where they could both see me, and they continued their conversation. I finally said, "Excuse me, can you please get someone to help me in Makeup?" The younger girl (not the one telling the story) said, "I will be right there." I said, "Thank you" and returned to the end of the isle. I stood there and watched those two women load up three more isle of candy before I told my daughter we were leaving. As we walked past the two women, I said, "Never mind. We are not going to stand at the end of the make up isle waiting for you while you fill the rest of these candies. Ain't nobody got time for that!" The woman replied with a very smart mouthed, "ok". I am so over this Target. My daughter and I turned and walked out of that store and we will not return. I advise you avoid this nightmare of a store at all costs. It sucks. And this makes me sad. This was a very good store at one time. It is now an embarrassment. read more

"We have candy...but not the kind..." wait. Wait. They have Twizzler Super Long Nibs. I love shopping at Target! I love the new re-model and the grocery section really makes it complete turning Target into a one-stop-shop! I love how I can find Physician's Formula makeup here (which is my favorite brand) because only selected department stores carry this brand (another one being Ulta and K-Mart). They also added several different new brands which is nice. I can spend hours in the makeup section and never get bored. read more

I don't think this is the best Target around but yesterday we were shopping there and discovered a gem! Customer service is so far gone that when true customer service happens these days it makes me want to shout THANK YOU! That was how Tamikha (sp?) made me feel in the check out line. She was incredibly friendly, informative and actually packed our bags in a way that I never see anymore. Love this Target! The location is near my house to its easy to stop by to get anything I need. The staff is always helpful and put a smile on my face. This Target has literally anything I need, whether its school supplies, clothes, home decor, birthday supplies, snack, etc. Plus there items are always affordable. The only complaint I have would be that in some sections of the store such as the clothes, it seems messy. Therefore, a quick clean up is needed. Other than that I highly recommend coming here. read more

The staff here is very helpful and not afraid to ask if you need help. The checkout times are, I guess tolerable, and I've never had a problem with parking. My biggest gripe with this store is that it doesn't have the inventory and selection of other Targets. As I was shopping there the other weekend, I even heard another couple complaining about how this store didn't have something they were looking for and they bet that "the other Target store" had it. I was looking for a computer desk I saw advertised on their web site and could not find it at this location. read more
