I bought Hostess Cupcakes for my husband like I normally do every week. He said they looked different & made him sick. While packing his lunch, I decided to take a minute & look at the cupcake & noticed it was a light brown instead of the darkish brown. I checked the box & they EXPIRED JUNE 2020!!!! Please check expiation dates while shopping. Too many of us young adults work they that don't have a care & are too lazy to check things, so please check while shopping EVEN though we shouldn't have to. read more

I never review department stores or big chain stores but I had a pretty bad experience and would want to prepare others. I ordered online for an online pick up. I expect a quick and easy pick up since my order was ready and I knew online pick ups would save me a lot of time from actually going into the store and looking for all the items I wanted. This was my first time doing this so when I walked in the store, I didn't know where to go. I went to the exchanges and returns desk to ask. NEVER HAVE I BEEN MET WITH SUCH EXTREME HOSTILITY. The employee named Abby working the desk, you could just tell from the tone of the voice, didn't want to help me or talk to me. She just looked up my order and told me to go to the online order pick up area. If I knew where that was, I would have went there instead , but okay I'll look for it. If you don't like dealing with customers, you shouldn't work at customer service, simple as that. I wasn't rude to her at all, I literally just asked one question and received hostility. Moving on, I found the online pick up area and went there. Received quick and easy service like I wanted. No complaints. read more

The cashier we had a checkout asked us if the diaper bag under my stroller was mine? As if we would pay for some items and steal a diaper bag. With wide isles and an endless amount of seasonal items, Target always seems to be on target. I hit the bullseye almost every time I come into one no matter what the location. Tis the season to be jolly. So, here I am at Target, and, it's Christmas time! Seasonal Christmas and Winter items a plenty. My better half can always be counted on to spend more money than I would like while shopping here. You already know that the most wonderful time of the year is also the most expensive time. It's only money, right?! I generally have no problem finding exactly what I need here. Right here, on target at Target. And don't forget about Super Target stores, where you get even more bargains than you can shake a stick at. What does that really mean?? If I could give a minus -5 Star I would. My son had a birthday a week ago. I go to return two items. One item that didn't work. One item that he got two of. They scan my ID because I don't have my receipt and tell me I am over their $100 a year return or exchange policy's. Which is NOT in their website. We were returning the toy for the same toy and switching the game for a different game. Are you kidding me???!?? I shop at target 3-4 times a month and can show a great track record of purchases. How do they get to get away with this. Not to mention their team members who are rude and unable to help make a situation any better. Additionally, they are willing to commit fraud by telling me to get someone else's ID but won't help me right then and there. I have filed a case with the BBB. UPDATE: After speaking with a corporate resolution person they fully understood and wanted to make things "right". They shared "this policy" is a store policy that can be held by discretion and is not a Target company policy. He explained he would contact the general manager at the store to see if we could make the swap of items to make things right. After 4 days the corporate person heard back from the general manager who said "this is their policy and they are sticking to it!" In spite of his teams behavior or being willing to speak with me directly they made the final decision. The person at Target looking at my account fully understood I am THEIR kind of shopper. A mom of 2 who shops at Target weekly with very little return or exchanges agreed and wanted to make things "right". Well they are broken and even though they provided a gift card for the full amount to buy my son a new football toss and a different video game it made no sense. Now I have a brand new game that someone else could have purchased and a toy they could have returned to the manufacture to show what was wrong. This whole situation has more anxiety and became much bigger than it should have for two toys that each were $50!!! Target General Manager at this Eastvale location needs a true education of people management. First with their team and what they are coaching them on how to manage customers and their expectations. The other with when a customer is saying "hey this is not ok!" We spend thousands of dollars a year like a lot of people who are reading this post I'm sure and it's not the big things we remember it's these small things that become massive things. The drive up time is crazy. Waited over 45 minutes for a 5 item order. It's supposed to be a fast way to shop and honestly is the slowest option. Had 2 people giving out orders when all the drive up spaces were occupied. Very disappointed with this store . read more

Placed online pick up order for an item that is out of stock most other locations/online. So for the price it was worth it to drive 45 minutes to this location. I Received notification that order was ready for pick up, when I arrive they had canceled my order and have no idea why. They said it's possible it was just an untrained employee. The items aren't in stock at the store but they say some should be unloaded today. I ask if they can at least hold the item for me and they say they are no longer to hold an item regardless of the circumstances. I believe her name is Adrian, she seemed to be managing the front of the store so I'm guessing she's a lead. She was very rude to her employees when talking to them, almost taking advantage of them. I bought a MasterCard gift card. It did not work. I attempted to use it at multiple places and would not work. I called the service number and said it was active with money. One week later I tried using it and balance was zero and i never used the money. What a joke. I went back to the store and said they couldn't help me. Target gift Cards do not work. I went yesterday with my mother and baby. We had our stroller and were being followed around the store. We went in for diapers and formula, and realized there was an undercover shopper following us every aisle. As i grabbed the formula i needed (4) i looked up and immediately there was a female worker walking towards me. When i made eye contact she turned around and pretended to clean something. It was a very unpleasant experience as we were just trying to grab what we needed and leave. There were many employees just standing around every where we went and they made it super obvious. The energy they used to follow us around they should have put it in to the cleanliness of their store. Our cashier on the other hand was super nice and made us feel comfortable as my child was crying and being fussy. Super uncomfortable experience besides that. read more

Terrible store! I went this morning to Target & saw that Halloween items (not candy) were 50%off. I returned 2 hours later and the 50% signs were gone. I questioned it & was told 2 different things: 1. they had to take down the signs because they were losing money! Duh! What did they think would happen if they posted 50% off?!?! 2. Another person told me that the 50% ended today. Ok, why weren't the signs removed before the store opened? As much as I hate the phrase "they need to get their act together". They really do. On 3/9/24, this Target store STOLE my handicapped daughter's money! My wife went to this Target store with our daughter to use a Visa gift card she received for her 18th birthday. They went through a regular cashier and when they attempted to use the gift card, the transaction wouldn't go through, so they paid for their items with cash ($90.50). Today, I checked the status of the gift card and it showed TARGET ran the visa gift card on 3/16/24 @2:17 am for the full amount of $100.00. I've called Target (951-256-5261) a minimum of 20 times and no one will answer the phone. I called the corporate offices who essentially blew me off and didn't seem to want to open an investigation because it was a "gift card." I've opened an investigation with the gift card company as the ONLY transaction was TARGET! FYI...I do happen to know that Target video records every cash register and every transaction and that those video recordings can be accessed very easily. Target can easily identify how this theft/fraud was committed, but instead, the woman in Mn refused to help and hung up on me. Real stellar customer service, Target. I'd give you negative stars if I could. Maybe I'll bring my disabled kid down there so you can tell her to her face how Target likes to STEAL her money. read more

This morning, Dec 11, at 8:51am, experience a very Rude Target employee name, Valia, per her supervisor Carmen. I motion for her to come to the passenger side and she holler at me well it say the trunk, then I said I like everything in bags, because I pay for the bag, Valia you only paid for one bag. I didn't believe what I was hearing so I got out the car, she attack me verbally, telling me she don't give a damn, calling me girl and I'm 63 y/o old. Then her supervisor come out, what is it I can do for you, I told her I ask that every is put in a bag and Valia was Rude. The way she spoke to me was gang talk. Is this location closing? I have never been in a target of such disarray. Employees walking around in their work uniform with their cellphones clearly out. Each department in the store is either dirty, no product on shelves or both. Not to mention the condition of the front entrance and absolutely no carts available for customers. Rude employee at Starbucks and Extremely rude manger "Kimberly"... if that is even her name since she wasn't wear a name tag and she begrudgingly gave that name when asked. She was extremely extremely rude to a customer. Basically called the lady stupid. I was so appalled I left target altogether and ordered what I needed online. In hindsight I should have complained to the target manager. Kimberly needs some retraining! read more

Just recently moved into a new housing track in Eastvale. This is the closest target and it's the Worst I've ever been too. I'm so disappointed. Always out of everything. Not enough checkers. Still rather come here than Wal-mart. Everyone complains because the store can't keep up with the excessive demand and keep the shelves stocked 24/7. No wonder no one wants to work here. Easy returns when you use your card and the app, never have to use my ID and loose money or be restricted with my returns. 90 days, most places give you 30, maybe 60 days. Sometimes employees are little young and immature but, it's Target and minimum wage, not Nordstrom's or Bergdorf Goodman. I think the clientele is to blame for the way the store looks by mid day. I always come in the morning when they're stocking team is hard at work and people are grabbing stuff as it goes up. First come first served. Regardless this is still my go to store and my nephews LOVE coming here. read more
