I'm disappointed to share that I had a very frustrating experience at this store today. My husband and I came in to return a pair of AirPods we had purchased just the day before. We were originally able to price match to Walmart's price and were hoping to exchange them for a new pair, as the ones we bought had a static sound issue right out of the box. When we approached the electronics department, two newer employees were unsure how to assist, so they called over what appeared to be a team lead. Unfortunately, this individual--Elysia, who wore glasses and had tattoos--was extremely rude and unprofessional from the start. She asked us--rudely and with attitude--why we were returning the item. We explained multiple times that there was an issue with the AirPods, and all we wanted to do was return them and purchase a new pair using the same price match we were given the day before. She dismissed us, saying she couldn't price match because it wasn't showing in her system, despite the fact that it had just been honored the previous day. Her tone and demeanor made us feel disrespected and unwelcome, and it was clear she wasn't interested in actually helping us or even trying to understand the situation. What made it even more frustrating was that the employee who helped us the day before was incredibly kind and helpful--there were no issues at all with the price match, and the process was smooth and professional. I have never had an issue with this kind of situation before, but today's experience left a very bad impression--especially coming from a team lead. We even heard the people behind us ask for a price match on a remote controller. If Elysia couldn't help us with a price match, I'm not sure how she would be able to assist anyone else with one. It's clear she doesn't have the proper etiquette or training to do so. She easily could've handed this issue off to someone capable of resolving it, but she chose not to--and her actions made that clear. After this interaction and being treated with attitude, we kindly took our business to San Jose--a whole other town away--and did the return there with better satisfaction and customer service. We could have easily returned the item and taken our business to Walmart--but we chose Target because we expected better service. Disappointing, to say the least. read more

I have used this store for years and it has really good product selection and a full nutrition section in the pharmacy as well as grocery and things for the home. Staff is extra - friendly and has frequently helped me to find things and then be on my way. Target, thank you for making it easy to purchase Roblocks gift cards in large amounts. Went to another store and they would only sell me $100.00 in gift cards. You made it very convenient for me to make my purchase in one visit. I also purchase many of my beauty, personal hygiene, clothing, food, snacks, toys, entertainment, and seasonal items here too. Target always has a see of some sort for you to get a good bargain in many of their departments. The only problem I run into is that I sometimes spend more than I intended. Love the products they offer and they are open late for your shopping convenance. They also have a Starbucks inside incase you need to feel up before your shopping spree lol. I've had the same issue at Walmart in the beauty/personal care section. Both times I've just given up and bought what I needed somewhere else. Seems like a good way to lose business. This target is really nice and clean. Lots of things. Plenty of clothes and accessories. I always come here for toiletries. They have a huge selection of deodorant and soaps. So I've had time to think about how I need to post this review and how to rate it. Honestly I think this target should be avoided due to one front end female lead named Nancy. I placed an order for a pickup, keep in mind, I've never done that before so I had no knowledge of the possible 2 hour wait. I ended up getting there way early than the two hour pickup timeframe. I head to the guest services counter where I asked if I found the item I was wanting to buy and bring it to them, can I have them check it out to me. They said no that the porter will need to go and pickup the item. I said okay and decided to do some shopping. I was there anywhere from 30-45 minutes looking around, I saw the item I was wanting in the shelf and it was the last in stock. I then picked up the item cause I really didn't want to wait and decided to head to the front to talk to a manager to see if they could expedite the pickup/release process. This is where everything took a horrible twist. I ended talking to a front lead girl named Nancy, I explained the situation again and she very adamantly told me she could do nothing to help expedite the pickup order and she only has two porters on site that night. I asked her if I really needed to go and wait another hour and 15 minutes before they make the pickup, she nodded and said that is the only thing we can do OR, you can cancel the order and we can recharge you for the amount. This item was $110, I don't have another $110 dollars to spend. I asked her what happens if someone else grabs the item before your porter comes by, she said there's nothing they can do further to help. I was honestly disheartened by the lack of trying to do anything to help. I quickly put the item back exactly where I left it and decided to leave the store due to do some other shopping. 30 minutes later, I received an email saying my item was out of stock....... I was angry at this point and decided to call the store, no one answered ANY of the lines, no one in guest services, no one in electronics, absolutely no one. I decided to call Target corporate to let them know what happened/my experience. While on the line with them explaining the situation which they did inform me that it is possible to expedite an order pickup if the main managers are there. While on the line I was walking back into the store and walked right over to the area where my item had been and guess what.....it was still there, in the exact same spot in front of the little tag which says the price and the description of the item. I then asked for an associate to call another manager that's not Nancy, I talked to Cassandra, super sweet and nice lady who understood my situation and also said there is a way to expedite a pickup too. We walked to the front of the store with the item, and guess who was there...Nancy. She asked me where I hid the item?.... Y'all, I swear on high and I asked for that Target to watch the cameras, between 4:30-5:55 pm, I walked back over and put it exactly where I found it. Nancy actually thought that I went and hid an item that was expected to be picked up by a porter? That makes no sense. Nancy also claims that she herself went in the same isle to look for the item to pull it...and then search the store for me?... I'm sorry, didn't Nancy say there was nothing she could do to help expedite the item pickup? And she so happened to wander over to the item I was wanting to personally help me? No, that's not what she did. She's the one who put "out of stock" on my item. And then changed her tune when another manager was there. Nancy lied, she had power gone to her head all because a customer wanted to help her porters by picking the item and asking for it to be checked out. This interaction happened on Saturday Dec 2nd and the time between 4:30pm and 5:54pm. Casandra did what she could to discount the item, but as I'm typing this out, I still paid too much for item and the wrongness I was put through by Nancy. Sara the store manager, if you read this post....please do something about Nancy. She is dishonest and doesn't deserve to be put in any managers position read more

This is my local target and I have never had any complaints here. Today I went in and went through a cashier. When walking out, I noticed that I forgot to include my $30 gift card. I went back to customer service and Brenda was able to help me out. Every time I have a problem, coincidentally, Brenda is the one who always helps me. She definitely takes her time, makes sure everything is done correctly, and is friendly as well. I also appreciate the carts being sanitized and ready to go upon entrance. They definitely follow COVID-19 procedures. The store is always clean and organized. An employee is always there to assist if needed. When I take my little toddler, he runs up and down the aisles and sometimes have a tantrum. Again, the staff there are very understanding. I love my home target! read more

Racist! This store selects anyone who isn't white and checks their receipt as they are leaving. I watched for over 25 minutes in shock as I seen many white people walk out with big items and no bags and no one checked their receipt, yet after I seen another lady come with one bag who wasn't white and he stops to check her as well. I was watching to see if there was any reason behind who was stopped that I could have missed, but it never failed when a nonwhite individual prepared to walk out again and again they were checked! I've never felt more uncomfortable at a Target in my life! Once I got back home I called corporate and all Target said was they could write a report and get back to me. I felt very brushed off. On Tuesday August 13 I visited this store as I have done for the past 5 years. While shopping in the store, there was a young man 18-20 years old who appeared to be of Hispanic/White heritage. He had a disheveled appearance, was not wearing a uniform and did not wear a visible name tag to identify him as an employee. He stalked me around the store and on my way to the register, he stopped a foot away from me staring me up and down focusing on my legs! I was about to confront him as I'm old enough to be his mother's age or even older! To my astonishment he stopped me on my way out stating "I need to see your receipt "! He did the same to another female customer who was elderly. He handed our receipts back after a quick glance at the receipt. He stopped me again requesting an additional receipt! I questioned him "why would I have another receipt!" He gave no explanation, asked for the same receipt, barely looked at it as he did the first time, stared at my cart then handed my receipt back! i walked out feeling not only disrespected but confused by this individual! Was he accusing me of not paying for items in my cart?! Why didn't he look at the items if he was in doubt?! i posted my experience on Nextdoor App hoping to reach others with a similar experience as this was the second inappropriate one I've had in this store! a few months ago a customer service manager actually stated "our customers are our biggest problem" when i stated, your service needs improvement only after being overcharged by $100 by the cashier then ordered to stand in line at customer service to sort it out! i was in a hurry which created an issue for me which should have been handled by the manager on the spot! Also, their App was not accurately honoring "specials" advertised on several previous visits! So far, two other women have come forward on Nextdoor App to report similar instances of stalking by the same employee who fits the description! one woman with a baby says he ran out of the store to photograph her license plate! Many people had come forward to complain about advertised specials not being honored once you reach checkout! This target is always out of basic things. They do not clean the bathrooms or organize the clothing sections. The baby/toddler section is always such a mess and you can see there is no effort to fix because weeks go by of it looking the same. Same with bathrooms. This review is not for the whole location, but for a Manager (she said she was a manager) Nancy. I went to Target to purchase formula for my baby. I went to a regular check stand to check out. The associate who was ringing me up seemed new, but still was getting the hang of what she was doing. Nancy came over and barged in rudely to the associate. I was attempting to purchase some of my formula with a manufacturer coupon. The associate kindly told Nancy she knew how to do it. But Nancy aggressively cut her off and started to intervene stating, " you can't purchase this formula with that coupon." When I told her i have purchased my baby's formula with these coupon, at other targets up and down the bay area, in santa cruz and Monterey county, I had never had a problem. Nancy said it was a "target policy." When I asked her for clarification and asked her to show me the policy, she said, "look it up yourself." Obviously she needs some training on policies and how to kindly speak to customers. She ended up calling another Manager, who could not find her "policy." She then stated "I cant have this line continue to back up, so ill do it this one time." This is when she probably realized she was in the wrong , but chose not to apologize due to her ego. If a regional manager reads this, Nancy does not handle customer service well. She is not kind to her workers. Peppermint Misto is my favorite coffee beverage I keep buying over and over and over again for YEARS!! Hah! I like the food and beverages department as well as the cosmetics/paper products department: All Target employees working in these departments re very kind, courteous, and extremely helpful. I must admit, when I'm traveling, I prefer using Target as a rest stop for using their very clean bathrooms, getting my "nervous Chihuahua on (drinking one vente of Peppermint Misto~HAH!)," it's very safe, and finally, shopping for items I forgot to pack in my suitcase. I use this target exclusively for purchasing household items. This is because I commute from Morgan Hill to San Jose, I see this by the side of 101, remember my shopping list and pull over. Almost every time, I have found that their shelves are missing the most basic items - and not the national brands either: the Target store brands. They would not have the floss, toothpaste, mouthwash or the shaving cream. Each time, I would have to walk around to find help. I have given feedback before, assuming naively it would be addressed. Last time was the straw that broke the camel's back: as usual I could not find the store brand mouthwash. With no help around, I went to the return/exchanges section. I was given the usual line: "what we have is on the shelf and if its not there we don't have it". Having heard this line every time, I asked to speak to the manager. I was told that I would have to wait since everyone is busy(!). Since I did not have the time to wait, I asked for the phone number of the manager. Very reluctantly, the individual found a pen, looked around for a Postit and wrote down the phone number on a piece of waste paper. I left without purchasing the item I needed but did make another purchase. Next day, I received an email soliciting feedback. A day after I submitted the feedback, I got a call from Target when I was in midst of a meeting. I requested the caller to call me back after the meeting. But I have received no other alls or emails. I marveled at the temerity of this store in informing a customer that everyone in the store is too busy to help him and thereafter choosing to assume that I would be free to talk during a working day. I will never, never visit this store again. Thankfully, I have a Wal-Mart nearby. read more

I like this Target. But the reason for my review is the Drive Up service. They are about 15 mins slower to bring items outside then any other Target I have done Drive Up at. I do not recommend this service. I also have had items missing, and it's very disorganized compared to Gilroy, Hollister, and San Jose Targets. I do Drive Up because I'm a mom, and the convenience of quick service is important to me. But the rate of their speed here, is disappointing. read more

I went to target today to purchase a box of bleach for my hair and all of the boxes were moderately to severely damaged. I asked an employee on the floor if there were any more in stock and she told me she didn't know and left it at that, then I went to the check out stations to see if there were anymore and the woman told me I can open the box to make sure the items weren't tampered with, but I would have to purchase the box!!! The customer service I received was very poor and the employees dismissed my concerns and needs as to keep me moving along. This review is for the pharmacy. The actual pharmacists are always welcoming and professional, it's the pharmacy technicians who aren't. I came in to pick up my prescription and two techs see me standing in line but choose to ignore me. No greeting, nothing. I tell them what I'm here for and finally one of them assist me with the coldest demeanor. But wouldn't you know? The other tech warmly welcomes the next person in line with a cheerful, "hi, hello, how are you?". I notice this patron is white while I'm not and I just shake my head. Get it together, techs.
