She said she only wanted to pick up the board game, "Ticket to Ride". So I assumed this Target visit was going to be relatively short...I was so naive. My girlfriend ended up buying new clothes and a calendar. That wasn't even the worst part. The worse part was everything she didn't buy, but thought about buying. She had to debate with herself and then me if she should get a purse. Then we had to look at some bath and shampoo products that we already had; we weren't even running low! As we were about to check out, we started off by waiting in a pretty big line for a human cashier. Then I looked over and saw no lines for the robot cashier. We decided to let the robot check us out and probably ended up leaving the store a few minutes earlier than if we let the human cashiers do it. I'm grateful for Target's robot cashiers for helping us leave the store a little sooner. read more

I've been a resident of Morgan Hill for 18 years and I was so happy about having a Target in my neighborhood. The store is kept clean and the shelves are properly stocked. I got an email this morning that my online order was ready for in-store pick up. However, I called customer services to ask if I could instead do a curbside pickup. The gentleman on the line said that it would not be a problem. Fast forward to 30 minutes ago when I parked at the curbside pickup and a young female employee was markedly more insolent. She asked who I had talked to in the morning and that she would check if it was possible to fulfill my request. She then told me they were too busy and I could go into the stores I wanted. I asked when was a better time to come back (ie when is it less busy). She said they are always busy. So I cancelled my order and filed a complaint. Some of us have breathing issues that make us more at risk if we catch the more infectious coronavirus. But I guess not everyone cares :( read more

This review is left specifically for miss Judy at the "customer service" desk....a friend of mine had told me that target is now allowing people to turn in their recyclables, she didn't provide details but the information was good enough for me to look into it so I began searching for them. I could not find any specifics as far as where at the store the recycling is done and so forth, so I went ahead and brought in the recyclables to the store and soon found out that this is done at the customer service desk...again I could not find the details on line as far as what and where recycling is done so i went in the store with a huge black plastic garbage bag full of empty plastic containers and found out this is done at the customer service desk. I thought great! I won't have to wait in the normal line with my huge bag and the people at the customer service desk are normally there to provide....I don't know....customer service?! There was no one at the desk which was fine , I understand they are busy, so I peeked behind the desk where there were workers getting things ready for pick up and I let them know I had some stuff to recycle if someone could come help me when they're available that would be great. Soon there was another woman who needed help and the way she was standing at the counter led me to believe she was already being helped so I asked her if she was already being helped and she said no, I let her know that I was also waiting for someone to come help...Then came Judy. Judy did not ask who was here first she just proceeded to help the woman who was standing at the counter as though she been there all day. And sadly, of course the woman being helped was all giddy, happy to to be helped before the "ghetto"girl with the huge bag of recyclables....when in reality this "ghetto" girl would have so offered her place in line to not have a kind person wait so long for a simple transaction. But that's not what went down, so I decided not to throw a fit about the other customers place in line, instead I waited until she was almost done and then I asked Judy if there was a reason I was skipped in line. Super long story short( I swear I'm trying ) Judy acted like she didn't know who was in line, so I proceeded to explain the obvious which is in her position she should have asked, Judy was so mad that I was calling her out, after much explaining and careful decision making to not explode I decided to walk out, and yes I should have left this review sooner but I still had to let it be known... miss Judy you wrong, treat people with dignity and respect read more

The Best Target I've been to since I moved from Minnesota 3 years ago! As a target lover and Minnesota native (not to mention my husband worked for Target Corporate for many years prior to moving to Northern California) I can honestly say this Target best exemplifies the original MN Target experience. Clean, well stocked, friendly staff... it was so great to finally see what I know to be the real Target come to life here outside of Minneapolis!!! There's a lovely Starbucks inside and I was able to enjoy a beverage as I shopped. The snack counter was very clean and inviting though I did not partake this trip. Parking was ample and easily navigated. I processed a return with a lovely associate who couldn't have been more accommodating. The grocery/p- fresh section was immaculate and fully stocked which I appreciated and totally took advantage of even though I hadn't intended to buy anything. Kudos to the management and all of the staff! Your hard work and pride of "ownership" shows/shines in all aspects of your store. I wish your colleagues up in San Jose and it's surrounding suburbs' stores could all be as diligent and conscientious. Corporate would be well served to take them all on field trips down to Morgan Hill just so that they can see what a well run Target should look and feel like! Though it won't be possible for all of my errands, I will make the extra long trip down to your store whenever I can, just because it's THAT much nicer of an experience to shop in a clean, well staffed, fully stocked store! *Go figure, lol. This store seems to have a severe problem with bathroom cleanliness. On two visits, the bathrooms were a total disaster. Trashcans outside the store were over-flowing. Women's bathroom trash containers inside the bathroom stalls were also overflowing to the point that trash (hazardous waste) was being left out in the open on top of the trash cans. Management clearly needs to make some changes. read more

Getting ready to start the school year next week and after comparing prices online (Target, Amazon, Walmart), discovered Target had the best prices by far! Went in to visit the store in Morgan Hill and they had plenty in stock and on the shelves to pick from. I'm a teacher buying for 34 students at a time when things are not normal, but still hoping to create normalcy. Made my purchase for multiple supplies, then wondered what I could use to hand it over to parents in a grab-and-go? Target came through again! Thanks to Shannon, Cochrane branch store manager, and her team (Alisha, Maria) for coming through with enough Target store bags for each of my students and my buddy class. I wish this Target would get its act together. As someone mentioned before the parking lot is filthy. Ok I can deal with it. The shopping carts are also just as filthy. Meh. The Starbucks here is always running out of soy milk (how?? Order more then it takes forever for it to go bad). I assume the workers are trained never to greet the guests or acknowledge them because they never do. What really is irksome is the amount of out of stocks this store has repeatedly. They don't just sell out of an item periodically but ALL the time. Doesn't this company have a goal to stay in stock? You can't sell it and make money if you don't have it. It's very frustrating. Shouldn't they be able to identify that an item is always selling therefore they should keep more on hand? Not just in one department either but across the entire store. Tried Target after experience at under staff Walmart. A lot better! Plenty of cashiers, well stocked, good location, large and very clean. Has nice Starbucks Coffee right at front and fast food too. Got in and out fairly quickly, Friendly staff. This will be my go to retail store in Morgan Hill. I wonder what they will be building on a huge open lot around this Target? This shopping center has a Chillis, Red Robbin, restaurants and variety of stores. Maybe mall? I hope not, Morgan Hill is a nice little city, I hope it stays that way. read more

I went into Target to get a SIM card for a international trip coming up. I walked to the tech/cell department and there was an employee standing behind the counter. I asked him for some help and he told me he had to go on his lunch break. He called his "manager" (I wouldn't call her a manager) and she came up and when I explained what I was looking for she looked at me and said " I don't have time for this and even if I did have time I wouldn't know how to help you"'. WORST SERVICE IVE EVER HAD. HORRIBLE. I walked out of Target empty handed. read more

On my way into the store today I saw an employee and two target security guards talking with a man out side, at the time unaware of what was going on I proceeded with my shopping. On the way out the man out side asked me as I was leaving if I would be interested in signing a petition to keep the Internet tax free and to be put on the ballet. As this is only a way to put thing on the ballet for a vote I gave it a quick read and signed. Should it come up on the next election ballet I'll give it a better read. The man was friendly in his approach and not interfering or blocking the exit. As I was driving away I saw the police pulling up! This in my mind is unacceptable behavior by target! I thought it was a right to collect petition signatures like this in a public place? I thought the entire thing from what I witnessed from start to finish was very immature on Targets part. read more

A spanking new Target! It's an average size Target without a Garden Center. This seems to be a trend (fewer Garden Centers). The food section is larger than average and the Starbucks area is huge (tons of seating). They also have a Pizza Hut Express inside. The Go International section is small (not many racks). Since it is new, it looks sparkling, bright and inviting. It's in a shopping center that is still in the process of being built. I'm not sure which stores will open there but right now there's a Sleep Center and Starbucks with a drive thru. I can't wait for the Hollywould line to come to Target. read more

I love Target just as much as the next person but their stocking department has burned me too many times. I am at this location a lot and if I buy a food item I try to ALWAYS check the expiration date on whatever I'm getting, which customers shouldn't have to do but they've proven that keeping up with their inventory and expired items is difficult. However there is the occasional time that I forget to check and I buy it and notice later on that it's expired. I've dealt with this at least 10 times and at other Target locations as well and they've assured me they will pull the expired items I've brought up but I go back a week later and they're still there. It's just an unfortunate hassle and I hope they are able to work it out soon. Other than that, the store is mostly clean and organized and there are some great finds there! read more

This is a pretty comprehensive Target with a smaller grocery department. The clearance department is smaller that other Targets that I've seen, but you can still find some good deals. Definitely a place that's worth your time and money. My only gripe would be that the check out lines are long and slow, but that's because the customers are buying so much (guilty). Pro-tip: Download the Cartwheel app, and scan everything you're going to buy to get an even better discount. read more

Dont use their curbside service. I've used it twice and both times it took more than 20 minutes to get someone out to my car even though both times my order was ready. I called the customer service desk 3x with no answer the most recent trip. Every time I've gone in the store, they have 3 or 4 registers open with 8+ people in each line. The lines are too crazy to go in when you just have a few items to get and the curbside is too slow (nearly nonexistent) to order through. No thanks. read more

This has to be the dumpiest dump of a Target around. The parking lot is littered with trash and shopping carts at are scattered all over the lot at most times of the day. Then as you approach the front doors you're hit with the overpowering stench of raw sewage. Stand about 30 feet west of the front doors and you can smell it. It's been that way for years. I usually make a stop there once a week but the constant chaos inside the store makes this place unbearable now. Every single time I go there the aisles are blocked with boxes and boxes of product waiting to be shelved. What isn't blocked by boxes is blocked by employees restocking the shelves. It's still an average place to get household items such as detergent and whatever. This isn't the place to go for any food items. I get it but when I compare it to the Walmart down the street, it's not even close. That store is clean, no boxes blocking every aisle and things are re-stocked. They also have a better variety of stuff even though it's a smaller store. And usually both stores have a single checker on duty and a massive line waiting to check out. Really annoyed. Tried to make a baby registry here but target has really gone above and beyond to make it hard. You have to use your smart phone now. they have a whole counter with registry signs and tablets which is pointless because the whole area literally says just use your phone with the app. But we did not have a good signal at this target so it was worthless and we could not make a registry here. And the employees seemed like they did not even care. So no registry at target. Seems like target really f-ed up on this one. Good going target. read more

I rarely shop at Target, But I read they took care of conversion of cell phones to Consumer Cell which is much much cheaper than what I had. It was incredibly easy each time with two different employees because I tried it first then took my wife down. Then I asked abut a ROKU box and the helped me with that so I saved a lot of money on my Spectrum bill. read more

I came into the store right when it opened at 7 AM to get a Target exclusive Funko Pop for my brother. Back of electronics, I ran into Niall, an employee who was the perfect help. He brought out the box of pops and handed me one. I explained to him my brother was a mint-condition kid of collector and i asked if I could see another one. Without issue, he cycled through with me almost every pop in the box until I found the one with the best condition. I'm touched by how helpful Niall was and how dedicated he is to customer satisfaction. At 7 in the morning, too. 5 stars. read more

Morgan Hill. It's official. You have the Church of Target located in your newest strip mall. I'm not sure who designed this place, but I think that they may have designed churches previously, because perched above a very two or three story tower stands not a crucifix, a star of David, or different religious symbol, but the Target logo. Just as in many Catholic churches, you can find a few crucifixes, so, too, can you find different Target logos, ranging from the intersection as you drive-in inlaid into the ground, but in traditional places like the signage on the sides of the store. Decent Target that embraces the layouts of similar sizes. I got me some Christmas stuff off 75% and I was a happy camper. read more

I bought the Thomas O'Brien dishes from Target...suggestion: avoid them. There is something wrong with the ceramic finish. They won't come clean in the diswasher and food always sticks to the surface even when I hand wash them. Target won't return the dishes because it's over 90 days...so now I have to complain to a customer service line. Not sure what going to happen, I really would like to return them for a store credit and get something else. read more
