This Target is really great. It has almost everything! I have already been here Christmas shopping 3 times so far this year. They food selection is poor compared to walmart however but there isles have more selection, like K cups for my coffee machine they have a huge selection of at good prices. The cashier I got the other day was kinda rude, did not say hi or bye etc. she also forgot to scan a few of my instant coupons that I handed her which is really annoying. Got in, got out, and on my way up the road and up into the mountains. It was very convenient to have this place just off the freeway. Everything looked clean and a younger gentleman helped me out with locating an item. When I ran into him later, he asked me if I had found it (followed up) and I appreciated that. I know they have been going through some growing pains, but this location has really stepped it up with keeping the store uncluttered. It seems that they are making every effort in keeping the community shopping here in Morgan Hill and not elsewhere. Prices are starting to lower and the quality of service is as good as ever. This is my go to Target being so close to my work, there really is nothing I can complain about here, but I still find it hard to give out the full five stars. The pharmacists are nice and speedy. The checkout lines are sufficient and they always open more up when a line develops. Store is quite clean and stocked. Electronics section is alright, the staff there certainly is eager to offer advice. Prices are good. Starbucks inside is pretty standard. They always seem to be busy and parking offers too many handicap and cop spots, one of few complaints about the place, but this may be more weighted to ADA than Target. read more

Although this Target does not have as much items as other Targets in San Jose, the customer service here is awesome . . . hence the 5 stars. I love this target! Maxine the front end manager is so friendly and helpful. I'm an extreme couponer and when I got that counter to complete my transactions the last thing I need is a slip up. A few times I came across a small problem, Maxine honored my coupons and or the prices that were listed. She is interested in a satisfied customer which has gone to the wayside with some of these big corporate stores. This is for target in general not this particular store. I have been a loyal member since 2009. I have never had an issue until recently. I have been dealing with them since October/ November and they are refusing to own up to THEIR mistake. They will not take responsibility for wrong doing and in the mean time wasting my days and time. My family and I will be reporting them to the business bureau and if they keep doing wrong by us we will take legal action. I am disgusted in this company. It's despicable they think they can treat their customers the way they do. WE WILL NEVER EVER walk into another target store. Okay, waste of my time. I honestly love target, I go to target for absolutely everything and then tonight just really made me angry. I went in to buy a book and an iPhone case, keep in mind I just got a new iPhone so I have no case for it. I find a book that I want (which is why I gave it a star) and then I went into the electronics section, found a case and realized there was a stopper that said "see sales associate" in order for me to obtain the case. That is normal for most target locations, so I walked around the electronics section and found an employee, asked him if he can help me out and said "I don't have the key. Sorry" and I asked "okay so you know who has one? Or a manager that can help me?" And he said "no. Sorry" Okay, maybe he's having a bad night, so I continued to look for another 20 minutes, not even exaggerating. I didn't find ANYONE around so I got my book and left. Point is, if you're going to have items that require a sales associate to be around, make sure there's a freakin sales associate around. read more

I had one really awful experience long ago with a checker who seemed to be mysteriously redirecting merchandise. But since then I gave it a try several times after that and it's been OK. Must have been the individual who has since left or been let go. read more

Never lets us down. The fairly new grocery section saves us a trip to nob hill. Target has a nice clothing section for kids, women and men. They have office supplies, toys, home essentials, bath supplies and beauty products. Target also has a seasonal section that has holiday supplies and candy for the up coming holidays! Target is great! So glad we have one! read more

I think they just got some new employees who need to be trained better..... in the tech department normally an employee named Anthony is awesome and very helpful. But today I asked a different guy for apple lightning cable headphones and he told me the ONLY ones they have are $50 beats by dre ones but as he was talking to me, I noticed that literally RIGHT NEXT TO US were the typical $30 apple ones. I said "what about those" he looked over and says "yeah those work too". Yikes. Did they start giving Target employees commission? Next I scanned a Dr. Teals bath salts at self checkout and problems ensued. The man assigned to self checkout unhappily tried a couple things then gave up and told me "there's nothing else I can do." I didn't know what to sayyyy to that... Then we both just stood there for a WHILE. He said nothing with his hands on his hips and looked around to the gods for a solution. I gave SOS eyes to the people in line. Eventually he called his manager NANCY who was AWESOME and funny and cleared things up within 60 seconds. read more

Beware of their latest 5% off card. My wife came back from the store with one of these cards and thought it was like a safeway savings card since the cashier easily signed her up at checkout. No where did the cashier mention it was a debit card. It was easy enough to cancel thru their corporate telephone line but their employees need to be more careful about verbal disclosure of what they pushing. Maybe they are having an employee incentive program for the employee with the most sign-ups but they need to look into retraining their employees! read more

This is the best pharmacy! Kevin is so GREAT and helpful. In fact all the staff there is awesome in the pharmacy but I cant remember everyone's name right now! One time I needed a RX filled and it was 5 minutes before closing and Kevin went over and beyond and filled it after they were closed. Just got out of target 8:24 PM on 1-16-14. Came in to purchase two small items. Upon going to check out line there are only two registers open with a line. Walking around between the two "supervising" is the target manager, an older, overweight, out of shape, Caucasian gentelmen. May I note that he notices there are long lines at the register. He then goes to the register in front of the food hut and starts playing with the computer and folding target bags as of he is going to open the register but instead pretends to be busy. I make eye contact with the gentle and then he stops folding the bags and walks away. 2 min later he decides to ring up the two people behind me who both get out of the store faster than I do, when I was clearly the next person waiting in line. This gentlemen was clearly profiling me, I was dressed in sweats and a baseball cap about to go to the gym down the street. Very unprofessional ! I always enjoy going here, they always blast you with cold air or hot air when you walk in, the opposite to the weather outside, which is nice and also helpful because it blows away the stink, also the sliding doors always know when to open, no traction whatsoever, overall ten out of ten entrance, I love coming to this walmart store read more

This target is good but the only thing is out side in front of the store there is trash all over the place and the trash bin seems to be full all the time. They need to hire someone to sweep the front of the store and parking lot. Sadly to say Wal-Mart is cleaner than target on the outside. read more

I am so happy that when I need something I usually can find it here in town at Target. The employees are very friendly and helpful. Recently I needed a lot of items for my home as well as for my niece who was leaving for college. I visited Target this past weekend on my back home after a long day of shopping. I was visiting my parents from college and we decided to stop by target after telling them I was considering buying an iPad for school. When I was looking at the iPad's an associate told my father and I that you could get a $50 gift card when buying an iPad so I decided to jump at the opportunity. After looking at the cases I found my associate had went on break (not at all his fault) and the other associate said there was no gift card involved. I told him that the other associate said that there was and he seemed to not believe me but then said I could wait until the other associate came back from break. So, I waited. Now when the associate came back he was apologetic and then walked with us to customer service to solve the issue as to why the gift card was not coming up. Once the manager came over he approved the gift card no problem. Once in the car I told my parents I believed the scanner the associate used may have been on Eastern time thus explaining why the price was not yet on the register (it was past 9pm). Sure enough, after looking at the ad for the next week, there was a promotion for the gift card. The manager at the time (tallish fellow with glasses) was extremely kind in handling the issue. Overall, it was my first trip to this Target and I had a fairly pleasant experience. The only thing that was irritating is the other associate (tallish dude with mustache) in electronics who told us to just wait and did not suggest a manager (hence the 4 out of 5 stars). The original associate, Zane (I think that's his name) was extremely helpful and helped us get to the bottom of the issue and did not leave until it was resolved. The wait in the checkout line always seems excessively long and the employees don't care. I have spoken with "the manager" several times and it does not get any better. My mom had order a bike for my son for Christmas 2015. It arrived damaged, we returned it at our local target and were assisted by Wendy B, she was outstanding mind you it was the 26th and hectic. She helped process my return quickly and effectively. I proceed to reorder from my mobile app she walked me through it and made sure it was accurate. Order placed successfully.. my son and I went to pick up the bike again today 1/3 the bike again was damaged both times it was ordered from Target.com! Wendy B. Was working again and advised that I call Target.com to try and straighten the situation out. I called and was hung up on when requesting to speak to supervisor as they could not locate my order. I called back and spoke to another supervisor who also was of no help stating that my name, address didn't match and there for refused to help me any further! I was HUNG UP ON AGAIN! I went up and spoke to Wendy B and she proceeded to get a supervisor for me who was Jessica B. Who assisted me as I told her what was going on and she then called Target.com herself, as I stood their she was also given the run around and then was hung up on as well!! BY THE VERY SAME PLACE SHE IS EMPLOYED BY!! Jessica B. Was just as in shock as I was and Wendy B who also stood near by assisting other customers but over heard the continuation of the story. Jessica B was able to refund me my entire amount!!! When I finally left Target I called Target.com again I spoke to a total of 3 people after the two ladies who originally hung up on me with NO HELP! The gentleman explained to me the reason my name, address card didn't match was due to me using Apple Pay, they apologized for that. IM JUST GRATEFUL IT WASN'T FRAUD! The name was not mine however it was the name of the town and the address was the name of the town! They refused to proved this info to me and to the Target employees!! That to me is completely unacceptable!!!! I have never had such a bad taste in my mouth for an online order in my life!! WENDY B AND JESSICA B. You both rock and are the reason I will continue to shop at my local Target!!!! Thank you for making me feel that I was a priority and not an inconvenience!! Thank you for making my son and I feel appreciated!! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! I really hope Target.com gets their customer service up to par along with items they send out are not damaged! I am very disappointed, upset, and furious about my recent visit. I'm a loyal customer and shop at this particular store on a regular basis. I'm still appalled at how the management (including the store manager) treats their "guests", how they handle serious and important situations, and how they conduct customer service investigations. This store's overall customer service is unsatisfactory to say the least. If I had the option of giving this target a zero or a half star rating score, I definitely would have because it is ridiculous and completely unacceptable to treat another person in the manner in which I was treated. The management was rude, condescending, belittling, and just plain mean; not to mention argumentative, unhelpful, inconsiderate and unapologetic to my concerns, opinions, and feelings. The Morgan Hill Target certainly showed me that they are not there to help their guests and do not care whether their guests have a positive or enjoyable shopping experience. It's going to be extremely hard for me to return to this store for future visits. I'm still in complete shock at how this company handles their business and treats the people shopping in their stores. I am a very unhappy customer. read more
