I brought in some Chanel frames to get new lenses that are cold mounted, and the employee tried to remove the lenses with their hands. Since they were unable to, they told me my frames are fake. Whether the lenses were fake or not, they did not need to tell me this in such a condescending tone and give me a look as if I was an idiot when I told her no they are not, they have been authenticated. They even tried to use heat to remove the lens which did not work as they were COLD mount glasses, and could have damaged the frame as well. read more

The staff here is god sent. I'm a touring music professional and my glasses had broken after a loadout. I came in and they were immediately able to help me fix them with a new screw and she even replaced my eye pads all free of charge. I even tried to pay for their service but they were happy to help and asked only for me to give them a well deserved review. My glasses have never fit better. The WORST service! I had an eye exam which was fine. I picked out frames - next my bifocal glasses were ready. Sierra put them on me and I was immediately dizzy. I said is this the correct prescription - Sierra said yes - it takes a few weeks to get used to. I wore the glasses and I got dizzy and nasaus. I felt the prescription seems not correct. I went back the same day and asked Sierra to check the prescription - come to find out - the prescription was wrong. I could have gotten in a car accident or worse. Sierra didn't even say sorry for this huge mistake! Sierra then entered supposedly put in the correct prescription and it would be about a couple weeks to be ready. I called today spoke with Patricia and asked if my glasses are ready and told there system is down. Still waiting to find out. Very disappointing and upsetting. I spent about $350 for my glasses. Horrible customer service. Went there to get my prescription. Sat for over 20 minutes listening to the lady calling customers to confirm and make appointments. When I finally ask if it would be much longer, she hands me my insurance card back and says i need to call them. It seems as though if you don't get your eye exam there, they don't want your business. read more

Jennifer, one of the workers there helped us find the perfect pair of sunglasses but also help the experience of purchasing my first pair of glasses comforting. Ontario Target optical has great customer service! My son needed prescription sports goggles. The lady on the phone explained my options priced out their package vs me using insurance before even coming in. The first fitting/selection ended up being too big. They were patient had him try other options (after already having ordered a pair) and told us to hold onto the pair while his new pair was being made for an even exchange. I had a great experience. Dr Chang was really nice, and very thorough with her eye exam. They have all the brands you would want (RayBan, Oakley, Maui Jim, etc...), and a good selection. Jennifer and Fitz are fun, upbeat and very knowledgeable. You feel more like a guest than a patient here. I like that. I have VSP insurance, and with Target Optical's "Open Access" plan, I spent less than I would have at a private practice. The only real negative in this review would have to be lens selection. I would have preferred to have Transitions XTRActive on my glasses, because they stay dark in the car. All in all, a great experience. I'll definitely be coming back, and recommend it to everyone. read more

I would definitely come here again. The exam was quick and easy. Unfortunately, I had a problem with my insurance (HR did not enter my info correctly so I wasn't showing up in the database). The staff here (Jennifer and Fitz) were so incredibly helpful and patient while I got everything straightened out with my company. A million stars for them. Minus one star for the staff member (did not catch his name) who tried to pressure me into buying the most expensive lenses possible when I ordered my glasses. It made me feel uncomfortable. Sounds like they switched appointment scheduling services without informing individuals. So when I showed up for my regularly scheduled appointment, I was told I did not have one, even though I had an email confirmation in hand. To top it off, I was told it's my fault since I didn't follow the none existent instructions in the email. Its incredibly frustrating when you take off work and plan accordingly to be disrespected with the whole "Not My Problem" attitude. My Dry cleaner is more organized and professional then this place. I had to wait a few months to get new glasses from my insurance, but was in a bind and needed them asap. Came here and spoke to Stephanie. I didn't make an appointment at all I just brought my prescription and she was able to get me in and out within an hour! She was AMAZING. Very friendly and informative. I got a Labor Day deal. Frames + Lenses ( the premium ones with anti-glare and all) for $139! I will definitely come back here for anything I need. I happened to stumble upon Target optical and managed to get a quick appointment. The first appointment was flawless. I love everything about this place. If I could I would give this store and my experience and horrible encounter with this Target Optical no stars, I would! Jennifer G. is rude and very unprofessional. I have filed 2 formal complaints with Target guest relations and hope that this matter isaddressed! Back in July I walked into this Target and dropped off my prescription and until today (more than 2 months later) September, 6th, I received only trials. No phone call to advise trials were in or any updates of any kind. When I would call to request status, Jennifer was rude and said to me " I'm too busy to entertain this" and hung up on me. When I went into the store today to check on status in person, Daniel (very helpful emplyoyee) tried to assist me. Jennifer also said she had quit so when she "tried" to assist me, I kindly said "no thank you, Daniel is helping me" Jennifer immediately contacted security and had them escort me out and prohibited Daniel to continue to assist me. Mind you I been waiting over 2 months for contacts (not an error on my part). The least she could have done was provide great customer service and apologize for their error!!! Jennifer needs to be re-trained and tought team culture values! First time customer!! Customer service was amazing! Gigi has a great attitude a pleasure to work with. There's many different types and brand Glasses frames. Prices are reasonable, I would have to say about the same as competitors. My only complain which is a big deal for me is that the quality of the lenses is poor. I've only had them for about two months now and my lenses are VERY scratched. I've been wearing glasses for decades and I've been to many different businesses basically every other year and I ALWAYS get the best quality option for durability. Unfortunately, this is the first time this happens to me in such a small time of having them. As usual I always get protection plan for my glasses so I called location regarding this matter and they will replace lenses this time for no cost since it's with in the 90 day period, next time I will need to pay $25 every time for replacement. I will most likely not return just because now I don't trust the quality. read more

So I had my share of eye exams from Costco to Walmart and I have to say Dr. Chang and Jennifer were absolutely amazing. I did not have an appointment and Dr. Chang was able to see me right away and I really appreciate that from an optometrist. After the exam, she took me to pick my glasses and Jennifer assisted me with that. She also, instead of trying to sell me a higher priced frame, informed me of this amazing sale they had on their andrewandrew eye ware. All I paid for was the frames. Go see Dr. Chang and Jennifer.
