Before leaving their office I scheduled a new appointment to have them recheck the prescription, they said I could come in 5 days at the earliest appointment I was glad they could get me in that soon. During these 5 days the glasses had some kind of Bacteria on them which caused a very bad infection in both of my eyes. I came in for my appt the Candice said I could not get an infection from my glasses, she advised me to go home and get my glasses, Candice said that I would still be fine for my appointment. When I returned in 15 minutes Candice stated my appointment was not that day but a week later, this was after seeing the condition of my eyes. She was VERY RUDE and UNCOMPASSIONATE considering we have been seeing Dr Geller for many years. After leaving I had to seek medical attention, my medical doctor diagnosed me with a very bad eye infection that can be caused by bacteria on the glasses. I received eye drops and an antibiotic, I also missed 3 days of work. Dr Geller has still not taken the time to return our call. While I was at my original appointment I tried on frames as well as my wife, after trying them on Candice put the frames away without disinfecting them, the lack of sanitizing between patients is a huge concern. My entire family will be looking for a new optometrist with updated technology that pays attention to the cleanliness of their office and products.

They demanded insurance when I walked in, and I spent 50 minutes on the phone, looking it up to them before they finally informed me that they needed my health insurance instead of my vision. It took me five minutes to get my health insurance information when they inform me that it was too late and they were closing for the day so I had to go home and just hope I don't go blind. Stay away from this clinic at all costs!!!

I didn't know an optometrist office could be run poorly,…read morenormally it's a pretty straightforward once a year event but this has definitely opened my eyes (pun intended). I had to call 4 times across 2 days before I got ahold of someone here and never got a call back. On the 5th call, once I did finally get ahold of someone, 15 minutes into the call I still didn't have an appointment and had to go to a meeting and asked them to call me back in an hour which they agreed to do. 4 hours later after not receiving a call I had to call back in twice more over the next day to finally get ahold of someone and start all over once again. All I needed was a standard annual appointment and a corneal topography. They stated that this was no problem and part of their routine annual exam anyway. The next day I got another call from them in which they said (direct quote) "I'm just wondering why you want the corneal topography..." firstly, that's none of your concern, secondly, you already stated it was standard practice so why does it matter? 2 days before my appointment I get another call which I miss and they left a voicemail saying they moved my appointment a day earlier (without my permission) but I decide I'm already this deep so let's just finish it out. I show up to my appointment and the receptionist says that my appointment is tomorrow (the original time). At that point I cancelled my appointment because this is just insanity. You would think it would end there but 2 hours later I get a reminder for my appointment which I had canceled in person earlier that day. I have no idea how this place is still open, maybe the doctors are phenomenal. I truly can't speak to them and their expertise as I couldn't even get that far. You need a complete overhaul of your entire operating procedures. Good luck!

As a new patient with no eye issues, I simply needed an eye exam and new contacts. I was charged for the following: Comprehensive Exam (New Patient): $215 Determination of Refractive State: $42 Contact Lens Fit/Evaluation Level 1: $75 Optos Wellness Scan: $35 Total charges came to $367 before insurance. After insurance adjustments and payments, I still paid $95 out of pocket ($35 at the appointment and another $60 balance). What disappointed me was that I wasn't coming in with any special concerns. I just needed new contacts, yet it felt like every possible service was added. I was also quoted $332 for a year's supply of contacts. I decided to go to Costco instead, and after my VSP benefits, I paid only about $40 for my contacts. Compared to what I would have spent here, the choice was easy. To be fair, the doctor was very nice, professional, and helpful. My issue was not with the doctor, but with the overall experience and the billing. The staff interaction was below average, and I left feeling disappointed. The $95 I paid out of pocket here would have covered my full eye exam at Costco. My advice is to do your research and read the reviews carefully. Dont ignore what people say. I did and unfortunately I paid for it, based on my experience, I will not be returning.

Dr. Whetten was very friendly and thorough. He listened to me intently, and answered all of my questions. I ordered the cutest pair of eyeglasses that I can't wait to receive. And I didn't realize until after my Alpine Vision Center visit, other places are very high pressure and pushy. I felt none of that here. Everyone was thorough and informative with me, without making me feel pressured to do or buy anything. Will definitely tell my friends and family to go to Alpine Vision Center.

I went to this place almost 6 weeks ago to get safety glasses for work. The optometrist was…read moreextremely professional. I ordered 2 pairs of safety glasses and was told it would take 3 weeks. The first pair of glasses came after 2 weeks. The second pair has still not come as of June 14, 2024. A couple of weeks ago i stopped by after being told the other pair was in. When I got there they said they had made a mistake and the other pair wasn't in. They told me they'd reach out again when they came in. Last Friday I called during business hours and no-one answered. I stopped by on my way to work and there was a sign saying they were closed for training. I called on Monday and nobody answered during business hours. I stopped by again and was told that they would reach out to the company and call me on Tuesday. Did they call? Nope. I tried calling again on Thursday and surprise, no answer. I stopped by again. I was not happy and let the lady at the front desk know it. Instead of apologizing, she said, "As you can see we are quite busy and have a lot of customers here in the office." They are going to have one less customer to deal with. They actually sent me a message this morning, via text, telling me to reach out to my safety supervisor to see what's going on with my order. That front desk person has no business being in front of customers with her attitude. I've been in there several times and they have an army of staff, I will not recommend this place to anyone that enjoys great customer service. Alex Fox
