To get to these wonderful people you have to deal with the incompetent front office. My wife was given voicemail reminder of her appt @ 10:30 she arrived in the parking lot at 10:15 and received a call from Jessica stating that her appointment was canceled due to her being late. We live in Oceanside and drive 30 miles to this office. The fact that she was cancelled 15 minutes before her appointment has cost Griffin 3 patients, my wife, my daughter, and myself just for being inconsiderate. This is not the first time with Jessica, just the worse time. You can see in other reviews how rude she is to people. I'm sure the owners have no idea how many customers have left due to her. They have lost 3 in this review alone. We have found a new provider and are looking forward to better customer service when it comes to eye care. Never going back to griffin again!

After scheduling an appointment weeks in advance, I was notified the evening before the morning appointment that it was not possible and would have to be rescheduled. After rescheduling and waiting two more weeks, I get a phone call the day of telling me that unfortunately they're going to have to reschedule. Service used to be exceptional here unfortunately since they've been taken over by total vision, it has gone downhill and I will now be looking for a new optometrist and very sad that I have to go outside my hometown and do business elsewhere now.

I was surprised because I didn't know enough about LASIK to know that it is not always recommended; she could have sold me on it and I wouldn't have been any wiser. Since I've been a customer for so long, I have seen workers come and go, but everyone is always friendly and makes the entire experience easy. I will always go here for glasses and contacts.

Felix was recommended to me by Costco to do a minor repair on one of my frames. He wasn't able to…read moredo the repair so I can't vouch for his repair job, however, he offered to put in basic reading lenses into another pair. The price was reasonable so why not. The first time I pick them up, he inadvertently put in long distance lenses. OK, mistakes happen. I pick them up after they are done the 2nd time and after using them at home I realize that at the least the right lens is off. So, I take them back up and ask him to fix the right side but make sure that both sides are right. I pick them up again and after using them for an hour, I realize that the left side is also off. I take them to two independent optometrist in my area who both say that Felix forgot to put the astigmatism correction on the left lense, and they have the documentation to show it. So far, that's 5 trips and I still can't use the glasses because they hurt my eyes. He won't look at the documentation from the other optometrist so he won't just give me a refund. He wants me to drop them off and then go pick them up again and that's another 25 min drive each way to get them finally fixed. But after Felix tells me that he checked the glasses both times previously . . . but both times they were off. So, what's going on here? He also tells me the correction is so minor that it's OK. Huh? It's not OK. Obviously, he doesn't value my time either. Do I really want to do business with this guy who obviously has a very lax practice. When it comes to glasses, you can't be laxed.

He stood and yelled at me at the top of his voice in front of another patient saying it was my fault looking through them wrong!!! I have been wearing Transitions for over 20 years and they were the wrong color. I went home and called the lab and the technician told me that Dr.Ableson did not file the correct paperwork with my glasses!!! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL BEHAVIOR!! Went in today to see if they could adjust the arms of my sunglasses and tighten the screws. I…read morebought my sunglasses from them around a year ago and the man who helped me was awesome! He found the perfect pair for me and even heated up the arms to adjust them to make them fit me perfectly. I went in today hoping to readjust the arms like he did previously and the associate that greeted me, Audrey (middle aged, black hair) was completely unhelpful, dismissive, and made me feel stupid for coming in to ask. She offered to tighten my screws as if it was a complete burden and waste of her time (mind you nobody was in the store at this time). The vibe I got was that she was judging me for being a spoiled rich kid when in reality I paid for those sunglasses with the money I worked hard for, and very much just judging off of looks as she seemed annoyed the second I walked in. I never leave bad reviews but that genuinely just completely flipped my mood and I left disappointed. I don't think she smiled once. Sunglasses hut train your workers to have better customer service or fire her, this is completely unacceptable for the job at hand.
