I offered her gas money and she declined. This is the true meaning of customer service. She did not have to do this and did it out the kindness of her heart. Dr. Lee and the staff at the Optic shop were phenomenal. I arrived on time and was immediately greeted and able to fill out first-time paper work quickly before my exam. The exam was so fast and pain free (literally and figuratively). Robbie did a great job explaining the pros and cons of dilation vs imaging. I didn't feel pressured to pay extra but saw the benefit and did the digital imaging. Very cool to see images of my optic nerves and eyes! Dr. Lee was super friendly and made me feel very comfortable while explaining my astigmatism and the needed correction in an easy to grasp manner. The selection of glasses is great even without many high end brands. Robbie and the rest of the staff were so sweet in helping me pick a pair that accentuated my melanin! Loved this experience and will definitely make this my home for my family's vision needs. read more

Really bad service. I went to see a doctor and they charged me for the lenses test additional $40 without confirming with me at first. Later I discovered that the prescription to my new contact lenses had a model that is Target preferable brand and my eyes were itching a lot. I tried to buy contacts online and they did not take my prescription. I called back Target and they said that the doctor had to change the prescription name. The doctor only works on Tuesday and Thursday. I went back and my prescription wasn't updated. I had to come back another day during doctors hours (before 5pm) to get a signature from the doctor. Finally after 3 months, I was able to get the prescription. Horrible service. On top of that mess, I ordered my new glasses and even with insurance it cost me +100usd. They never called to inform me that it was ready for pick up. Also, I could not dilate my eyes on the day that I went for first time and I was informed I could come back at any time. I went back and I was informed my 30 day period expired. The doctor did not even look at my face. They just wanted to charge me additional money. Target Optical was a horrible and bad experience. Don't recommend and I would advise to stay away. read more

By far, the best Target Optical in the metro area! I was a client at another Target Optical and they were dismissive, inaccurate, and down right lazy when it came to customer service. It seemed like it was mostly related to one employee, so I'll just leave it there. However, I explained my problems to Amanda at the SoCobb store, and she assured me it would be handled. SoCobb did everything over, from scratch, without a single charge!! They guided me through a tiring process of fitting me for contacts only to be ultimately unsuccessful. They ensured I found glasses I liked and even helped me retrofit some old frames with new lenses. I couldn't give enough stars to this branch! Above exceptional customer service! They definitely added a new customer from this! read more

Terrible customer service - management! People in the front office of this location do not even deserve a single star. I was late to my appointment just seven minutes. I waited in line to be greeted for another seven minutes while they go back and forth with another person about a lost appointment. The first contact with the first person achieved finally at the the13th-minute mark and they did not accept me as a patient claiming l missed the grace period and pushed me to reschedule. I refused and left. They did nothing to accommodate my claim and experience. Terrible customer service. No accountability. Complete disarray. They do not deserve my business ever. So I had been holding off on getting a new pair of glasses for over two years. Because my birthday is literally around the corner, I decided to treat myself to an early birthday gift. I called this location because I didn't want to deal with busy Atlantic Station on a Saturday afternoon. Jennifer was able to greet me and get me right in for an appointment for 2:20PM. When I arrived, Jennifer was very patient and accommodating for me and my son as I made a difficult decision about which pair to purchase. There were so many pretty pairs of glasses and sunglasses and my current ones are outdated. There were also high end pairs like Versace, Coach, Armani, and Ray Bans. Target definitely gave me that upgraded experience. The doctor was able to take me as a walk in on Saturday afternoon and exam my eyes and help me make the best choice for me. She was patient with my nervousness of the dreaded pressure machine and trying to see the difference between slides one two and three. Jennifer's customer service stood out the most because she was sincere and patient as I was indecisive between a pair of Versace glasses and Coach glasses. I decided to go with the Coach pair. Ridiculous experience. I had been a guest of this location for 9 years and had not had a problem until today. I called to schedule an appointment and found that there was a new doctor. The availability for this clinic is limited and bizarre. It's only open three times a week typically during 12-3 or 12-4. I called to schedule an appointment, noting to the technician that I would be traveling 40 miles home on this occasion and would need the latest appointment. The technician instructed me to call them if I was running a bit late. I called twice today before my appointment, once when I left and once when I was 10 minutes from the store. Because I was driving through downtown ATL, I wanted to let them know that I might be running late. The technician today (a different one from before) said: "if you are going to be 10 minutes late, even a minute over, you need to reschedule." I have never heard of anything so inflexible. I thought he was joking and proceeded to the store. When I arrived (exactly 10 minutes from my appointment time, which I acknowledge is late but I called multiple times when I scheduled and the day of), the technician walked over to the computer on the other side of the room to tell me I was "one minute over the grace period" and the doctor was refusing to see me. I asked to speak to the doctor and he refused multiple times, noting my tardiness over and over in a condescending tone. I just want to say that I appreciate the Target store manager for making it right but it is a shame that, as a fellow healthcare worker who was coming from his shift at the hospital, I experienced a team of healthcare workers who were not only unprofessional, but also did not care for the health and well-being of their peers in the industry. It's also worth noting that I was simply reordering contact lenses so I was not going to be using my full-appointment time and not causing anyone to stay late. Stay away from this location. As you can see from other recent reviews, they clearly don't care about their guests. Unprofessional, condescending and not worth your time. read more

Horrible glasses technician! He had no customer care skills - nor basic human decency... (Target Optica - 2201 Cobb Pkwy SE Smyrna, GA 30080 , 9/28/2018...lunchtime) I was about to leave town on a business trip, I broke my glasses frames - unwearable... snapped in two at the nose bridge. I had a few hours only before I had to catch my flight. I was in a panic. I needed my lenses moved to a new set of frames. The technician at your Smyrna Georgia store refused. He told me he couldn't do it because he would be held liable if my lenses popped out of the new frames while I was driving and I wrecked. He also said he couldn't do it because my prescription was older than a year old! No. Seriously. He said those things to me as though I was some sort of absolute idiot. He didn't care that I essentially was incapacitated without the ability to use my glasses. HUGE CUSTOMERS SERVICE FAIL. In case you were wondering, I went to another provider and just showed them my broken frames... they immediately offered, without me even asking, to replace my frames. They went up to their wall, pointed out a couple frames that my lenses would fit into, and popped my lenses into a pair. The entire process took all of 10 minutes! Doing my civic duty -- and spreading the word! Treat your customers well and your business will thrive. Treat them like trash and... they share the experieince. read more

Best doctor, best staff and best experience ever! I didn't have to wait around at all and was seen promptly for my exam time. Dr. Stewart is really sweet and friendly. The girl who helped me check out once I picked my glasses was wonderful too. I highly recommend visiting this location!! I don't want to go anywhere else again. read more
