Please stay away from Stanton Optical in Austell. They are unprofessional and don't care about the customers. I am a repeat customer!! I was told my glasses would be back in 2 weeks. I call them and they say the system changed and they can't track my lenses. I call back last week they say they had to send me glasses in. I call again it's been a month, no updates. I have called them 4 times. No one called me at any point I call in again NO apology!! I asked for store manager, no ones available. Spent over a thousand dollars for poor service!! They have my glasses they can't tell me when they will come back!! Buyer Beware!! The Sales Manager Jose went out of his way to not help me not make any calls or try to determine where my designer glasses are they I brought into the store. I called before I went to Stanton Optical and asked if they were wheelchair accessible and they said yes, I went for my appointment and they told me the Ophthalmoscpe (Fundoscope could not be lowered down to my wheelchair, I have had this test did for glasses before with no problem. Awesome service! Made an appointment just one day earlier, was 1st in, and everyone was so courteous and patient. I'd never been here before but my regular optician kept rescheduling. The patient part came as was on the phone with my insurance company while they were waiting on me, while I was looking at glasses! All in all, wonderful experience - and although they didn't take my insurance, the discount was good. read more

Absolutely AWESOME'Nesss! Doc April Allen was wonderful! The task was so simple, but so hard to find someone. I walked in the door greeted with a smile (through her eyes) since she had her mask on. I asked if she could repair my Gucci Sunglasses (which I didn't get from this store) but without hesitation, she had then fixed in less than 10 minutes! This place is a SCAM. Online, the place said that they were offering a deal with 2 glasses and an eye exam for $59.95. However, when I walked in they claimed that they had no idea about this promotion and that they could not only not honor it but that they also would not be able to work with me. The guy at the counter had a nasty attitude and seemed like he did not want my business. Do not go here if you see an online promotion because most likely they use it to get you in the door and then upsell you to buy more products. read more

BEWARE: My EyeLab (Austell) is pricey, takes 4+ weeks to fill a prescription, when they get it wrong (requested progressive lens - got visible lines), they claim it will be 3 more weeks to replace! When waiting longer than 3 weeks, I gave them a honest (bad) FB review, after which their FB page info has mysteriously disappeared - saying "NO DATA AVAILABLE!". Hoping my sister will still get her glasses since she was required to pay upfront! Honestly, they don't even deserve one star. read more

When I arrived I got an eye exam with a doctor on s screen then after I was told I needed to pay 374 cause I had a astigmatism in both eyes btw no one advised me how my eye exam went I didnt feel comfortable paying that much but they convinced me to get a cheaper option called the next day the rude office manger now told me I didnt have an astigmatism and was probably told wrong info like that's ok couldn't get a refund terrible place felt like a scam read more

Visited this morning. EW Connector, Austell. Business had recently opened. Was interested in purchasing progressive lenses with some inexpensive plastic frames. Was told I would received a free eye exam, several times. I began to fill out my new patient info. on a tablet which was having problems entering text. I was then told this 'exam' involved somekinda virtual exam via video, or something. I began to doubt the person I was talking to me was a doctor at all who would be giving me this 'exam'. Didn' t matter this person, left and shortly another came to tell me the exam was not free. Really!? Won' t be back. Didn't seem right to me. read more

Absolutely ridiculous. The sales manager was horrible to my mother and was so rude and pushy towards the frames she was going to buy. Told us it was take 7-10 days to come in and 2 and half weeks later. And they are still not here. Please don't come here. They lie about there prices and are absolutely terrible. RUN!!!!! don't walk...RUN!!!! I have been wearing glasses my entire life and have never had an experience like this. I used my own frames for sunglasses and when I was finally able to speak with someone about my order (almost a month later) I was told by the manager that there was a quality issue and my sunglasses would not be ready for another 2 weeks. Frustrated at this point and not sure if I would get glasses that were right, asked to cancel the order. I was told again by the manager that he would only give me a partial refund because I had an eye exam. I never needed the eye exam but was told in order to get the special pricing, I would need to do the eye exam which was included in the special pricing. To add insult to injury, it will take another 2 weeks to receive MY $400 Jimmy Choo frames back and I'm really worrying about the condition they will be in when/if I finally do get them. This is the worst company ever, their company and employees are nothing but a huge scam! I went there thinking that I really were gonna get an awesome deal according to their advertising's In which states that you get a "free eye exam with two pairs of glasses for $59.95" and that in itself was very misleading, a scam and false advertising to say the least...along with the customer service Representatives who you speak with via telephone as well as the employees at the office down to the doctors that are doing your eye exam that is NOT really there at all but are giving you the exam on a television!!!! Then once the exam part was completed and you choose your frames and you're prepared to checkout the Grand total that I was quoted was $800 bucks, so I asked them about the advertisement which stated "free exam with 2 pairs of glasses for $59.99" then they tells me that that's not correct and the price is according to each pair of glasses which has to be $14 to $20 bucks and I said well that's not what the sign says and I said well you guy's can just cancel it and I then was briefed that if I cancel my order I'd have to pay "$60" dollars for the exam and I were asked can I pay $400 bucks and I told them no and that that's more more money than Walmart and then they started throwing prices out which is why I stated that it's all a big scam!!! Run, run as fast as you can!! After 2 pairs of frames breaking instantaneously while sitting on my face. One shortly outside of the 30 window they consider the frame being defective, so as a "courtesy" they replace frame with one in store and within 1 month they broke same exact location again while sitting only face. Came in and was told that the lenses appear to be slightly bigger than frame or maybe defective while knows but we will replace. I wait 24 days, or 18 business days, as thats what they go by and get my 3rd set of frames with a bump in the bottom and their excuse is that someone put their finger on it when it was hot. Plus the progressive lenses have numbers on them and was told they always come like that! Really, show me where they were on there before...not there!!! That is the workmanship you back and then make it out like you did me, the Customer, a favor!!! They lied about the status and don't provide quality workmanship.
