Extremely disappointed in the entire process from start to finish. Poor and late communication, constant follow up needed. Over 2 months to complete what should have taken 1-2 weeks. Paid in full and there are still lingering tasks to complete. Only positive part was Joe the carpenter. He was friendly, meticulous, and stayed until the job was completed. Unless they rework their project management workflow and customer service, you'll be very disappointed in outcome of your project. I can only hope that the paint job hold up. read more

we had overall a satisfying business with Target Painting. The actual painting and workers were very good. We had requested just a few touch ups. The real issue is the management! There are multiple "managers" for a job.... and none of them seems eager to commit to a client. Paulo, specifically, acts like he owns the business and uses big words like: " I am not happy with what they did! I will fire them!" belittling the real workers he allegedly sent to our house. He talks the talk .... but very little help. Communication has been hard: it seems like you need to call 5 different people for a question and no one actually answer. And then people show up to work and the "managers" don't even tell you. I would hire the crew that painted our house in a heartbeat again, but without going through the complicated chain of command of Target Painting. read more

I was extremely pleased with my experience dealing with Target Painting. I had an old room to repaint that had a very dark blue to paint over with my light gray selection for the room. I had some concerns that there would be trouble painting over the dark color. It turned out great! The gray showed no trace of the previous dark blue color. Moreover, there was a lot of pre-treatment of the various indentations and peeling paint on the ceiling near my recessed lighting. The closet needed to be pre-treated as well. It was full of peeling paint and various deep indentations. I was more than pleased with the way these problems came out! It looks great like "new" drywall was just painted! In addition to the way the paint job turned out, I was also very pleased with the service I received at Target Painting. The job "coordinator' was Junior Aragao. He coordinated the pre-treat team that prepared the room for painting with the painting team. Junior made the whole project just "happen" with no chaos or confusion that is usually associated with multi-team home contractors! I would definitely recommend Target Painting to anyone without hesitation. read more

I hired Target to paint my home's exterior. It was a really great experience. They did everything they said they would do and they did it very very well! The staff did a great job - from meeting Brian who came to my home and gave me the estimate to the carpenter who replaced the rotted wood work trim to the power washer and finally to the painters themselves. Just very reliable, timely, and it was obvious they took pride in their work. My home looks great and it was just a breeze from beginning to end....(and their price was considerably less then the painting company I had used before and who is from my town). ***Also - Gabriela runs the office and she is just wonderful. BEWARE: Target Painting has been the most frustrating and disappointing company to work with. I would give them 0 stars if I could. They completed our paint job, which initially looked good, but it quickly peeled and showed signs of significant issues. Rotted trim that had been identified as missed and under warranty was noted as required for repair as part of the job. The large sections of peeling paint that were also under warranty were noted by the company and promised for timely repair. However, it has now been YEARS of calling them back to request that they finish the job and every time we call, they say that we are on the schedule for "this coming week." YEARS of waiting for them to show up while more paint peels and more trim rots. The warranty timing has now lapsed and the company has never once returned to make good on the promises they made at the final walk through review of the job. The service, quality and value have all been terrible in the long term. I would never, ever hire them again and caution all others to avoid them AT ALL COST! read more

One of the worst companies I have dealt with. It took several months and several return trips to complete carpentry because the crew had to fix their incomplete and sloppy work. Communication between the crew and sales/production teams and between the company and client was the worst I've experienced with any contractor. They left pieces of wood around my yard that I'm still picking up, smoked on my property and left a butt on the lawn, and parked on my lawn where I told them in writing not to. I asked them multiple times to match a paint color for me and they never did, so I gave up and asked for a sample of a known paint color. It's not quite right so I still don't have the right color. The crew broke a piece of my window and a huge chunk off one of my bushes and didn't even tell me. I discovered it and had to tell the office. The crew doesn't speak much English and the office tells you the crew can't answer your questions. I have nothing at all against people who don't speak English well but have realized it is crucial to be able to communicate on site with the crew actually doing the work. We waited several weeks for them to schedule an item they kept failing to do correctly because as another reviewer mentioned, they send people out who have no skills in the task they're performing. The carpentry doesn't even look very good and was absurdly expensive. You are better off going with a time and materials contract. During powerwashing, the guy who showed up didn't know the scope of work, and due to the language barrier, I couldn't confirm with him that he wasn't using bleach - a big problem since I have dogs and plants I care about. I called the office and sales manager to try to confirm, and no one responded for days. I signed the contract in Dec 2023. Target said carpentry could begin in January but it didn't start until March. It took 3 months to wrap up. Powerwashing was only done at the end of June. I decided I'd had enough and demanded a firm date for prep work because the project is at risk, which they refused to provide. They also refused to provide actual evidence that their crew leaders are lead-safe licensed. Then they cancelled the rest of the contract, citing THEIR own delays and communication issues. The contract has no cancellation clause. Now we're forced to hire someone else (who will hopefully be better) and hold Target responsible for breach of contract. If you have any problems, the office will play dumb or not respond, and the sales and production managers will just pacify you with empty words and never change. read more

We recently moved from Boston to Sudbury into a house that was in need of a lot of major repair. We were out of our element and did not know anyone. We got several quotes for repairing and replacing sections of the wooden siding and trim, and to paint the entire exterior. Target Painting gave us a very fair quote. Their quality of work and professionalism speaks volumes. They arrived on time every day and worked diligently. Their workmanship was shown by their close attention to detail. (They even painted the mailbox!). They cleaned up every day, they respected my daughter's nap schedule and one of the owners always dropped by throughout the project.
