After reading all the horror stories here on Yelp, I was quite reluctant to park here, but I had a…read moredecent experience and felt I should try to balance out those horror stories. I purchased a reservation the day before departure online, printed the bar code as requested, and arrived at 4 am. No problems using the printed code to get in. Arrival was at 1 am and I left the printed bar code in my checked bag. I was able to use the QR code on my phone from my confirmation email to get out. So basically both ways worked without an issue. Perhaps I got lucky. Of note, I never saw any humans working the garage, probably because of the times I was in it. Not sure what would have happened if there was an issue but I'm guessing there would be remote service via a box on the gate. Pricing is somewhat misleading as there are taxes and fees that add up during check out; including an inexplicable 17% tax on top of RI 7% sales tax. I left on a Monday at 4 am and returned on Saturday at 1 am but that is 6 days to them as their clock runs by the calendar day and not by the hour. 6 days @ $22/day ended up costing $167. Garage B is $28/day but with taxes/fees included so it's basically the same price, closer to the terminal, recommended by the airport and managed by LAZ. There weren't any spots available online for garage B and when we got there it was full so I'm glad we went with C to guarantee a spot. In the future I will try to not wait until the last minute and book in garage B. But if I can't, I would use garage C again.

Though I might be accustomed to Boston parking prices, being able to park so close to the terminal at a reasonable rate certainly will have me parking at Red Beam Garage whenever flying out of Providence. The rewards program here is certainly worth signing up for so you can earn a free day of parking as you build up days parked at Red Beam Garage. The online reservation process is very easy to navigate and allows you to pre-pay your parking in advance of arrival. Highly recommend!

After a long travel day, dragging luggage that distance is definitely not ideal, so be prepared for a serious walk if you're renting a vehicle. Also... no Starbucks? Absolutely wild. For an airport, that honestly feels unbelievable. Sometimes travelers just want something familiar, quick, and dependable before or after a flight, and not having one was definitely noticed. The airport itself is currently under construction in some areas, but that had nothing to do with the rental car location or the lack of a Starbucks. Those were simply the biggest inconveniences of the experience for me personally. Other than that, the airport experience was decent enough, but definitely wear comfortable shoes and plan accordingly if you're renting a car.

In all my years of flying, I don't think I've ever experienced that before! The airport itself was clean, well-maintained, and easy to navigate. When I pulled in the driveway no one came out - I had to go to the building and "WAKE UP" the attendant. Upon checking me in he advised me that they could not drop me off at the terminal because some contract had not been renewed. That is NOT my problem and I feel this is entrapment because had I known I wouldn't be dropped off at the terminal I NEVER would have booked this joke of a so called parking business. I feel for handicapped, elderly or other individuals who can't walk long distances easily. There should be full disclosure to the consumer regarding EXACTLY what service is being provided. I am most certain that if consumers were well informed instead of being duped into booking, this company would quickly go out of business.

It has approximately 14,000 residents and a popular downtown area. There are restaurants and bars right on the water. The public schools were highly ranked and the neighborhoods are safe. Main St. has plenty of restaurants and various businesses. The town is in close proximity to amenities. Overall, a great town to live in and visit!

I had the opportunity to visit on Sunday, September 14th. Garden City Center's historic gazebo green transforms into a vibrant, open-air Farmers Market. The Farmers Market is every Sunday from May 18 through September 28 from 10 AM to 2 PM. I wandered and checked out the local vendors. There were a great variety of them. I purchased a really cute coaster from The Book Emporium RI. The Book Emporium RI sells books that are wrapped and you have a blind date with a book. I also purchased a lavender sachet from 15 Lavender Place. I spoke with the owner and she told me all of the lavender is lovingly home-grown and hand-harvested, ensuring the highest quality and care go into every product. There were soothing lavender eye pillows, relaxing neck wraps, sprays, and bundles of dried lavender. I also went to Fully Rooted to purchase two bottles of freshly pressed juices-Watermelon Slice and Golden Greens. There were also local food trucks, farm booths, and local makers. The Garden City Center Farmers Market is a market for everyone. Either if you just want to stop for coffee, get produce for the week, flowers, dog treats, see alpacas, and so much more.

The children's room is adorable and was chock full of awesome books. I appreciated the back to school book suggestion lists that they had for every age from baby to fifth grade! I checked out quite a few from the list. Parking is easy out front and if you want to stay longer than 30 minutes there is more street parking just ahead of the library and the town parking lot a block away. The patrons are mostly older individuals who look like genuine book lovers, along with young parents and children who likely come for the activities and the dedicated children's area. Like many buildings and homes in East Greenwich, this library boasts a beautiful, historic architecture.
