This is a Target location that I shop at for convenience, but not one of the super large, well stocked ones. Always good produce and freezer items but very hard to find things in the make-up and hair care, etc. One plus is there always seems to be employees walking around the store that can offer guidance. Lots of clothing and shoes, but never lots of good sizes. I will say, however, go in for one or two things and always come out with a bagful or more. Especially with all the great seasonal/ holiday items, there's no better place than a Target!!! Always have to check out yourself, because only 1 cashier lane is usually ever open and there's always a big line. And can get a Starbucks on the way out!!! read more

While this isn't my nearby Target store, it is a store I try to visit when I am visiting family near Desert Ridge Marketplace. It has a great selection and good service, and after the holidays, it has some great sales of Christmas and Chanukah merchandise. My wife, sister, and I visited it last night before heading to dinner at Desert Ridge. Only three days after Christmas, we found merchandise from 50-70% off plus food for 30% off! We also bought a few other items we were needing. All in all, this particular Target is a treat to shop at! To be honest, Target is probably my wife's favorite store. She enjoys walking around any Target, occasionally picking up groceries, finding gifts for people, and something for herself every now and then. I feel similarly but don't make it as often as she does. Besides the store itself, it is easy to use the app to see what promotions there are, to earn Target Circle rewards, and to keep track of what we purchase. I love Target, but I have to say this location continually disappoints. Both in service and especially check out. I have noticed at peak times They may only have one or two people on the registers and they expect everyone to do self check out. When you have a full cart, that is really cumbersome Also, the last time I did self, There was one woman walking around the self check out area, assumedly to help people. She watched us do my entire check out, and then I got home and realized there were sensor tags on several of the items. Why did she not notify me or check the clothing ? I had to make another trip all the way back to the store. Also, we hate the fact that when we want to buy a Lego set, or even just look at one, we have to hit a button to page and associate, because they are all locked up. Finally, when someone does show, they seem irritated to have to be there and my son and I felt rushed picking out a set for his birthday. read more

I went to go to self checkout and was purchasing quite amount of stuff - I am by myself. The handles of the bags at the self checkout kiosk kept breaking. So I requested help and told the worker the situation, requesting new bags or a different kiosk. She began to look at my face and stated "are you kidding me". And walked away. I work as a registered nurse and came off of a night shift. Made my shopping experience terrible after taking care of patients all day. The worker's name was Leslie. read more

The Target on McDowell Ave & Litchfield in Goodyear is HORRIBLE. Poor product selection, clothes in limited sizes, shelves messy, store employees who don't care about anything. Poor value for the money they're asking. Walmart is MUCH better at everything. read more

This is a really solid Target in the area! It shares a massive parking lot with the complex, making finding a parking spot relatively easy. It is also next to numerous restaurants, shopping, craft stores and other businesses, also making it a great option to get multiple errands done at once, or just check out various spots at one main location. This location seemed newer than some of the other Targets in the area that I frequent, with more upgraded registers and a slightly more modern design and a much bigger self-check out area. The had ample carts and baskets throughout the store which is also, always appreciated. It did have two entry points, which is not something I usually see at their locations and made entering feel a bit more disorenting than normal. They offer all the normal Target options, from clothes, seasonal, home, beauty, as well as their small grocery options, which are great in a pinch and a Starbucks, of course! Their return section was a bit off and had items everywhere. It was definitely less organized and sort of just there compared to other locations. Though the space itself was more modern with newer displays, there also was sort of no rhyme or reason for the setup. It was different than any other Target I have been too, with random house decor right in the front entrance on a few random stands, then also holiday decor and candy on the other side of the entrance. Impulse station on one side and sort of a hodge podge of items. You will definitely still catch me here if I am in the area and hankering a Target stop! I didn't explore the entire store and use any specific services on this visit, but did do a quick return, which was easy with no line and snag some grocery items for dinner. read more

Associates told me to come back for a product I was interested in on multiple days. Ryan the "manager" stated they were out of all their product and then back tracked on his word saying they have the product but can't sell it till tomorrow. I went to Target to find a very random household item. An associate near the entrance was bent down, stocking a shelf. I asked for directions to the item and they were so friendly and helpful. I found what I needed exactly where they said. Later in my travels throughout the store, I ran into the same associate. We struck up a conversation and I learned that it was AJ, the store manager. I was so impressed that the manager was out walking around, not tucked in an office, not taking the day off (it is Sunday, afterall). I've shopped at this store for years and, while I've never had an issue, I've never had such a great experience. It seems small, but to interact with someone on the floor, then to run into them 30 minutes later and they ask if I found what I needed, THEN to strike up a conversation with me, THEN to learn it's the store manager - just hands-down amazing. This was a new location for me. It was big and had a really great selection. The store was cleaned & well-stocked. Lots of available team members. A nice big grocery section. Definitely coming back to this location. The one thing I really super hated was the parking lot is not awesome at all. Also, it's a parking lot. Literally get some CASHIERS!!! Every time I'm in, it can be weekend day or weekend & I never see more than one cashier! You rely too heavily on self check out. Unacceptable! Now Target has implemented 10 items or less at the self check out and so today when I went in they had zero cashiers, working which is insane to me! I had well over 10 items in my cart and so self check was not an option according to the giant sign in front of the self checkout line! I literally had to go find a store manager to figure out how to get myself checked out since you had no humans at the check out lines. Ridiculous! read more

This Target has changed the last couple of months. Lots of merchandise of the floors, a tripping hazard for sure. Restrooms were a disaster. Coffee and toilet paper all over the floors. I did see when I left, someone going in to clean the restrooms. I hope this Target can clean up and get back to normal soon. read more

We hit the jackpot. Target is awesome when it comes to toy sales. Mama Surprise guinea pig was 50% off after the sale andnl store rewards along with my Target debit card savings. I finally found underwear the girls felt comfortable in and shoes are buy one get on 50% off. Shoes our oldest tot actually likes as she has been sensitive to comfort there as well. The dressing room was clean. My favorite place for toys. I love their baby clothes, but don't find anything too often in girls or for myself I really care for. Clean store, fast self check out. Don't forget to use your Target app to make sure what you are shopping isn't less expensive on their website. Theybwill price match. The Mama Surprise toy did not show on sale like their website and it was a breeze getting the adjustment while in self check out. read more

I stopped in tonight specifically to look at the book section. Look at all these beautiful books. I find that the desert ridge location always has a good stock of the new books. I like that This section is easy to navigate and well organized according to genres. I came at a later time to avoid all the Saturday traffic and that was my BEST idea yet haha. I have shopped at thus desert ridge Target off and on for over 20 years. Everyone in the store is typically very helpful. Store is clean. My only real concern, and it is a big one, is with the lady who works in the customer service department. She processes returns. She has straight brownish hair, slightly older lady, has been working returns at this Target location for at least 8- 10 years. She always has a frown on her face, not warm or customer service friendly at all. And sadly sge is very judgmental when you do a return. It makes me want to go to another store, it isn't right. I've probably had 10 returns over the many years, where she handled it, and every time I feel the same way (whether a simple return like a wrong size shirt with tag on, or even something like an open toy that broke on its first few weeks, the scowl and judgment are always the same. This lady is not an asset, unless she is better coached. read more

Today reminded me of why I don't shop at target. I had bought some shirts online, went to return them, and the guy said that there were no orders under my name. The stickers with the order number, or on the bags that I returned he told me he couldn't look them up, he never scanned the sticker. He just input it into his phone, it is a 13 digit number, I'm betting that his texting skills may have been a little off. He did not offer to scan it, he did not offer to try and put it in again just stood there, looking at me like are you really going to make me work today?! Never again. Was delighted to find a bathing suit while on vacation here in AZ from CT. Didn't expect my hotel to have such a nice (salt water) pool. Stock was otherwise very low, as with many stores while we're experiencing supply chain issues in all sectors. Did buy fresh, delicious fruit and some vegan groceries. No men's flip-flops, which really surprised me. Should be a year round staple for hot weather climates like this I would think(?)..... All store employees were especially friendly and helpful. Hopefully their compensation is commensurate with their excellent performance. Without them retail stores would go out of business very, Very Quickly! I visited this store last night and despite their announcement regarding their adherence to COVID-19 protocols, I witnessed the following; 1) one Target employee stocking food without a mask on 2) one Target employee with a face shield on, enter the restroom talking on the phone, use the restroom, and then leave, without washing her hands 3) at least 12 customers shopping without masks on 4) around 20 or so customers wearing masks as "chin-guards" I understand that as an establishment, you cannot police the general public, but you CAN monitor your employees! read more

They almost always have whatever I need at a great price and if they don't have it in stock at the store they'll ship in two days for free if your order is over $35 total. Bought a $100 frother online for curbside pickup. Got home and opened it to find it was used and dirty with caked on milk and sticky finger prints. Called to find out how to exchange - also at curbside - and the manager Leandra told me it wasn't possible. To fix it we need to drive all the way over there, and go into the store. So it's our problem that they took a dirty return, and turned around and sold it to us. I guess Target doesn't have to worry about customer service. read more

I walked around the wrong side of the building and the item I needed was actually near the right entrance. But at least they had it in stock as the Target website said they were low. How can you not love Target? Easy review as I am the biggest Target fan. Target is part of my family since my paychecks other then my major bills are spent here. This location is a larger Target because they are also a grocery store. They have everything that a regular Target has but is also a one-stop​ shop to grab food for the week. The prices are reasonable and similar to the grocery store. They offer coupons but don't have the major discount steals like grocery stores. One way you can save is open a Target Debit card. This is not a credit card which Target offers. It is a debit card linked to your checking account. You make a purchase and they take it from your personal account plus you save 5% off your total bill. No cost to apply so be sure to ask your cashier. Lots of check out lanes and another great store that does not have long ugly lines. A dining area to grab some snacks and hot food. read more

Typical Target. Nicely organized, large, open, well stocked, and luckily open late for the Xmas holiday season. After shopping in Desert Ridge mall, we needed some packing supplies. We rode by and discovered they were open until 11pm. Winning! If you plan to ship presents this holiday season, keep in mind that places like FedEx and UPS charge more for their shipping supplies. Save a few bucks by buying your boxes and packing supplies here. We found some things that we needed, got some things we didn't need, and forgot some things that we did need (typical shopping trip for me). After the diligent reminder that the store would be closing in 5 minutes, we scurried to the check out lines. There were plenty of open lanes so it was a fast process.
