I've been to this Target a few times now and every time the layout confuses me. Electronics up front? Say what? That just seems like disaster or like they are just begging to be robbed. Who knows? Luckily I don't come here often and won't get caught in the possible cross-fire. This recent trip was just to grab some BBQ sauce since I was in the area and stopping by an actual grocery store would be too much of a hassle. Fortunately they had the brand I liked. There wasn't much else I needed, but I still browsed a bit as I made my way back up to the front of the store. In the checkout lane, they had a dark chocolate KitKat and I was sold. Impulsive buys only work on me if they are dark chocolate. Overall, it's a nice Target. It's rather large and clean inside. The shopping center is nice but can be hard to get in and out of, especially on the weekend. I wouldn't come here just to shop at Target; I'd have to already be in the vicinity. read more

Fitting rooms are closed due to covid-19. There is no sign at either entrance notifying you that the fitting rooms are closed. There is only a sign when you arrive at the fitting rooms. I totally did not think of this when shopping for clothes. Make sure you know your exact size before purchasing. If you need to try on clothes to see if they fit you have to buy them then return the item that does not fit. So inconvenient. I bet other retail stores have similar policy. read more

First off, the music outside of Target was heavy metal. Who controls the music in the parking lot at Desert Ridge? They need to be fired. It is overly loud and tasteless. Heading into the store, we had a very unfriendly almost angry gal at guest services. I think she needed back up because there was a long line of people returning. On the way to the toys we were bombarded with people soliciting by the electronics, and again, overly loud TV's blasting music ads. Thank God Kathy Lee Gifford came up and talked about a good book because most of what is shown is junk and distracting for little eyes. At the check out Michael helped us, again seemed like he hated his job and was burdened by the customers. I used to hold Target up as being a quality store, but am noticing a downward trend. I purchased 130.00 in gift cards at this location along with other items. When I got home I had everything but my gift cards. I called the store and did not get a call back, had to call the store again. The team leader Karen said the video shows I got my cards, which means they are saying I am lying. They would not let me see the video and would do nothing to help me. These cards were purchased as part of my adopt a family which I don't have and never received. They did nothing to try to help me and just said they can't do anything. I am extremely upset that these gift cards were not in my bag but I had everything else I bought. read more

It just dawned on me that I have yet to review Target. Why? I mean, I am at this Target at least once a week, if not more, so I've had plenty of opportunities to do it. I guess I've just always taken Target and their greatness for granted. It's no secret Target is a step above the rest; it's always clean, the shelves are always full, and the associates are always friendly. Yesterday's trip to Target started as a typical visit for me. You know...need to pick up a COUPLE of things, Coffee Creamer, Bread andToothpaste, yet I manage to spend $150!! Well after getting my couple of things, AAAAAAAND a full cart later, I found myself waiting in Lane 4 to check out. That's when my Target experience changed! Out of the corner of my eye, I see this mannequin in a gorgeous floral swim suit, staring me down. The nerve this mannequin had! It turned into a stare off and I finally had to get out of line and approach her. Her swim wear game was on point and I needed in on it. The problem was, I couldn't find where she got her suit from and she wasn't talkin! So, I had to ask the nearest Target Professional where I may find it. Unfortunately, she couldn't find it either. That particular swim suit was sold out. Next thing I know, Miss Target Professional (I'm really sorry, I didnt get her name. But I feel like she was either management or corporate) and Mannequin are now having a stare down. I'm going to spare you the details of what happend next, but just know, I got my swim suit and Mannequin ended up with a whole new look! Thank you for always being top notch Target!! Cheers to only needing a couple of things, yet managing g to spend $150. P.S. Mannequin, sorry for getting ya roughed up a bit, u picked the wrong gal to have a stare off with. Target - Department Stores Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

FYI... we went there tonight at 8 PM and sadly won't be returning anytime soon due to them not enforcing mandatory masks for guests and employees. We counted 3 employees handling products not wearing a mask or any face covering, as well as about 15 guests shopping that weren't as well and were not stopped by a manager about masks required etc. We did give feedback when checking out and while doing so another 2 guests overheard my conversation and reiterated the same sentiment to the employee about it not being safe there. read more

Don't buy gift cards from this store! The employees will steal the codes after it gets activated at the register and before you can use them. I purchased $200 of an Apple Gift card and once I got home to load it to iTunes it said "already redeemed. I went back to target and told them and they said they couldn't help because the card was activated. I called Apple and they said since it was bought at a separate retailer they cannot help. But they gave me the info of the person who redeemed it which I never heard of. Both of these companies have lost my future business. Neither one wants to refund, replace of act on the fraud info after speaking with multiple people from each company. I guess this is why scams like this work, because the companies are not immediately affected by it. Too bad they can't see that they will lose much more in future business. read more

Where does a mother go after she drops off her kids to school for the first time since March? Target! So happy to step foot into this store by myself, allowed to frolic around and stare at anything I want without my kids saying they are bored. I saw everyone had masks on, employees were helpful and was asked if I needed help finding anything. This Target is awful. The only reason is because of the "customers". Tweens and teens hang out at this Target running around making a mess and making this Target feel like a Walmart due to its ambiance. I saw kids without adults throwing trash in product displays, running around playing hide and seek, making fart noises, and teens making an absolute mess in the clothing section. The employees are decently kind, but the whole store could provide a better experience if there wasn't a bunch of kids ruining the store. Prior to summer, I would made sure that I only came to this Target during school hours; however now that school is out this Target is horrid. I feel so bad for the employees. read more

This location in desert ridge is a nightmare. May be one of worst end to end experiences of all Targets in the entire country! It's a teenage babysitting adventure park, severe out of stocks throughout, and doesn't represent the Target brand well at all. Two stars for good availability of product. Zero on everything else... We have always shopped there during the day or weeknights but just left our first weekend night shopping trip. The store apparently goes full on Purge mode with teenagers roaming the store and employers hiding. I've never seen anything like it and won't make the mistake of going there again on a weekend. The absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced!!!! Horribly rude and un attentive with zero ethics and compassion while I was trying to find a shirt for my handicap father who had just had an accident at the keg and was in desperate need of a clean shirt. This will not be forgotten. Forcing me to leave rather than taking less than the 5 mins it would have taken to help really shows the embodiment of the Target brand and their teachings to their employees. I am a fan of this Target. I'm here a lot because of the pharmacy and wind up doing quite a bit of shopping. It's not a Greatlands, so the produce section is small, but otherwise they still have a really good food selection, especially considering that food was never what Target primarily sold. I always manage to get sucked into the pet and seasonal sections! The place is very well organized and the staff is always friendly. read more

A Nice big store that is usually very clean and organized. I usually come here only for pet items and to check out the electronics. Most items are more than I really want to pay as I can find same quality items or better for cheaper somewhere else. Clearance items are a good deal though. Bought a few dog items for more than 50% off and they had nothing wrong with them. Also, DVD's seem cheaper by a buck or two the day they come out here at Target than someplace like Walmart or Best Buy. Food is much more expensive here than where I normally buy food, so even though I check the produce out, I never buy any food items here. I do like how Target has a Starbucks inside of it, although I never remember until I'm in the store and then it's too late as I've already gotten one somewhere else. The past couple of months there have been so many teenagers from age 10-16 running around the store in groups, throwing toys everywhere, talking back to employees, throwing trash on the floors, creating messes in every aisle, and running over customers as the run all over. It is really sad to see corporate not enforce any rules for their employees so they don't have to deal with this ongoing issue everyday. I wish there was a rule that kids could not be in the target without parental supervision. Or even some security. Desert ridge is a super nice shopping area and this location used to feel very nice but now it's chaotic and stressful. There should not be groups of 8 kids running around trashing the store and the younger teenage employees having no support and getting completely talked back to when asking the teens to leave. Then there are always groups of the kids out front waiting for their parents to pick them up. I don't know what is happening to kids not being respectful anymore but it's really sad. I feel so bad for the employees who have to deal with it day to day. read more

Target/Walmart = Same thing. Lousy customer service. Phone broke, went to go get a new one from Target. Waited 15 minutes for someone to actually help me out after going to the front to ask for assistance. I finally found help but was told that the phone technician went home for the day. It's before 6pm why the hell would you send someone home that manages some of the more expensive items in the store at a thousand dollars a pop at such an early hour? I'm not sure if anyone else is having this issue but I should have stopped shopping here long ago. I previously did their curbside pick up due to the fact I have a very antsy child who won't sit in a grocery cart. So the convince is absolutely amazing. I wanted it to work, I needed it to work! On 3 different occasions they would bring me expired food. The first time I purchased milk for my 1 year old and come to find out it was SIX MONTHS expired. It was definitely on me to check the expiration date, but in my head I just figured I just picked it up less than 24 hours ago it should be fresh right? lo and behold my child got extremely ill. How do you have dairy products that are OVER 6 months expired?! Just recently did another grocery store run and they had expired deli meat, broccoli covered in mold and my bagels were as hard as a rock. I highly advise NOT grocery shopping at target and just sticking to the basic home goods. They do not check their stock enough for freshness. This is a warning to all! So I do a lot of shopping... I been to lots of targets all over the valley. How is it every store has different policies?! Employees should be more aware of their policies. Dalton in electronics said I can only price match at guest services. Fine. But the PV Mall and the target on FLW and 101 ALWAYS price match at electronics register. Why don't the other places follow policy and send customers to guest services? Then Laura at guest services was rude. When asked she just gave a quick three word answer. Didn't even smile. Didn't say thank you. Completely rude. At least be nice NOT to mention that I know where everything is in the store better than the actual employees!! I don't even bother asking anymore because 9 out of 10 times I teach the employees where the mech is, and this goes to all target locations. read more

I would like to start off by saying that I'm a big fan of Target and have shopped there for many years. On Sunday afternoon my wife and I stopped by the store to pick up a few essentials. While walking past the Target Mobile department a team member in a black shirt and Target name badge flagged us down and told us that we would get a $5 gift card if he could check our eligibility for a cell phone upgrade. The same associate told us that if we purchased a qualifying phone as part of our eligible upgrade we would receive a $150 Target gift card. Well, I knew that I was eligible for an upgrade and figured i could use $150. We began the whole process. it was becoming evident very quickly that our associate had no idea what he was doing. He asked both my wife and I for the same information over and over again consistently saying oh no or I need to do that again or I don't understand. Three hours later the associate told us that we were going to have to take the phone to Verizon because he could not figure out how to get it activated so off to Verizon we went where to the staff got us up and running in 15 or 20 minutes. The supervisor for this department had difficulty answering questions for our stumped associate and ultimately ended up disappearing before all was done. After two or three days with her new phone my wife determined that it was defective and needed to be returned. My wife went back to Target Mobile where the very same associate who took three hours to give us a non-working phone the first time, greeted her. My wife was at Target Mobile for over four hours while this associate fumbled and squirmed trying to figure out how to exchange the phone. My wife is far more patient than I am sitting at Target for nearly four hours on this second trip trying to fix this issue. Receiving no satisfaction from Target my wife went over to Verizon to see if they could clean up the mess that was created at the Target Mobile store but not before they forced my wife to purchase a $150 Target gift card because I had the original in my wallet. My wife ended up spending an additional 2 hours at Verizon because the Target Fiasco locked out our account. Target opened and closed, deleted and reinstalled and messed things up so badly that Verizon was afraid there was some type of fraud going on with our account. Collectively we have well over 8 hours of time sitting at Target and ended up purchasing a phone from Verizon. When I complained the the Target store manager she seemed disinterested and gave me a card with a phone number for guest relations. What a joke. I did call but after 10 minutes of being on hold I hung up. We already have far too much time invested in a one week period. I understand that Target Mobile is a separate entity from Target stores but they are still under Target's roof and It's a reflection of the store. Do yourself a favor and cut out the middle man (Target in this case) and go directly to the carrier. read more

I never use public restrooms like ever. Up until today. Now mind you I shop at target at least once a week. Target is always clean the employees are nice and everything is always well stocked and organized. I love target. You guys are great but today... yes today February the 24th Of 2018. Disappointed me... I walked in to the bathroom. There was grime everywhere it smelled horrible and every stall was filthy. Two had fecal matter floating and spread around. I was horrified. I finally found a bathroom stall that was somewhat clean and two seconds after closing the door I couldn't do it. The toilet had scratches all over they were improperly maintained. I walked out without even touching the sink because omg it was disgusting.. I am currently sending a letter to corporate because this is unacceptable. read more

I am a big Target fan, but this is one of their poorest stores. I went in for groceries as it is listed as a Supercenter. The grocery selection was pitiful and the prices were high. 10 bucks a pound for chicken breasts. On the plus side, the staff was great and they were constantly cleaning carts, surfaces, where customers had touched. As a side note, about 80% of people had masks on. All staff had masks. read more
