Swung by Nordstrom Rack at The Promenade Scottsdale looking for a pair of OluKai flip flops and completely hit the jackpot. They had a great selection available, although only a few pairs were in my size. The prices were fantastic too -- about 30% off MSRP, which made the trip even better. After finding the flip flops, I took a quick lap around the store and found several other great deals. They had Ray-Ban sunglasses marked down around 50% off MSRP along with a solid selection of name-brand health and beauty products at discounted prices. Nordstrom Rack is definitely one of those stores where it pays to spend some time searching through the racks. If you're willing to browse a bit, you can find some seriously good deals on quality brands. The store itself was clean, organized, and easy to shop. Evelyn provided excellent customer service during checkout and made the experience even better. Plenty of free parking outside as well. read more

I looked at potential sandals, but didn't see anything that sparked my attention. I also considered getting some new Ray-Ban's since mine are getting scratched. If you have extra time, and don't mind picking through, there are a lot of good deals on name brand items to choose from of women's, men's and kids clothing. Also handbags, shoes, skincare, and gifts. The store and racks are just so packed, it's kind of hard to look around, especially when it's crowded. Shoes and purses are usually a lot easier to find what you are looking for and there are specific staff at times assigned to those areas. Can really luck out with a total "find"!! read more

I wanted to buy some skirts for work since it is summer. I thought since this store is near my home and a huge place, I would find something. The quality has gone downhill. Most of the skirts were cheaply made hippie style with elastic waistlines. I wanted something that had a zipper or buttoned up at the waistline. Elastic waistlines are just poor quality. There were some size zero miniskirts which is not what I was looking for and too small. One Veronica Beard skirt which was a size 8 and too big. It was nicely lined but not well made. The panels of the flower pattern did not match up at all at the seams. The Veronica Beard skirt was $159.95. At that price point one would expect the pattern to aligned. There was nothing worth trying on. Won't waste my time going here again. read more

Everytime I come into town to visit my family, I spend time at home, at restaurants here and there, at the yoga studio, but mostly at the rack. Not only do I find this to be the cleanest location in the "valley", it's my favorite. This trip, I went with my sister (in law) and was lucky enough to find a killer find in the designer section. Alongside some of my brothers favorite candles (paddy wax) at a super cheap price. Two days later, I stopped in with my mom and found some toms, a bathing suit top, undies, a bra, and Nike shorts for my man. One day after that I jumped in for my bi annual sneaker shopping experience with my dad. Let me start this off by saying I'm something of a Nordstrom's Rack connoisseur. I've visited every location in the valley and this location is hands down the best when it comes to designer items. Like most people, I love nice things and high end products, but my bank account doesn't like full price shopping. There are several purse racks with brands such as Moschino, Valentino, MCM, Alexander McQueen, Burberry and Ferragamo. More often times than not, a good portion of them are 50% off or more. The shoe collection is pretty extensive. There's a section with just designer shoes, and then the regular shoe racks and clearance. In the designer you'll find brands like Jimmy Choo, Burberry, Ferragamo, Victoria Beard, Eileen Fisher, Coach, Italeau, Vince, Versace, Stuart Weitzman, etc. There was even an instance recently where they brought in several dozen Gucci shoes and had a special section just for that. I have however, found some of these brands in the clearance section. My last visit I got some Veronica Beard booties that we're $90 from $750! Just like any good deal, you have to be willing to put in the time to look. In regard to their designer clothing section, its pretty massive and you're going to see all the big names. For the most part, the clothes are in amazing condition and you'll get some beautiful items without breaking the bank. This place is always fairly busy but thankfully there are a ton of staff so you're never left waiting for help. This is a neat store. I was visiting my family all the way from N.C. One of my sisters loves to shop and she loves coming here so I decided to tag along. There are so many things to try on in this store. My sister ended up buying 2 dresses and a pair of sunglasses. I ended up buying a hat for my husband, some shorts and a few shirts. It wasn't a shopping trip win for me. More so for my husband. I wish he could have come with us. The dressing rooms were easy to get into. Not a long wait at all. The restrooms were very neat, cleaned and well stocked. Check out was a little crazy. Kind of reminds me of Ross and TJ Max. But unlike those stores, all the registers were being used! That's a rare sight to see for any store! The staff was very friendly. I wouldn't mind coming back the next time k come for a visit. read more

I never write reviews but I just experienced the worst customer service here. I attempted to return a pair of boots that were never worn with the tag still on. I had a baby shortly after purchasing so making the return wasn't on my top priority list. I attempted to get a store credit today and because I'm outside of the 30 day return window they won't allow it. They were purchased online so now I'm stuck with a $110 pair of boots that don't fit. It's mind blowing that they wouldn't make an exception for this. What horrible customer service. Will never shop at Nordstrom rack again. read more

This Rack is well situated in an outdoor mall with lots of parking. If you are in North Scottsdale, you will be here in a jiffy. It is on the northeast corner of Scottsdale Road and Paradise. I came to look at the purses, and was thrilled to find a Kurt Geiger design. A small purse which accommodates my I-phone. I found a few Eileen Fisher tops and one fit perfectly. Was lucky and found ballerina slip on's at 50% off, nice array of cosmetics (lipstick, lip balm and moisturizers), hubby didn't find anything that suited him. I love the Rack for the easy returns and discounted shoes!! I also found a cute dress here to wear for a wedding. Some of their items though - are just cheap and I don't understand why they are normally at a high price tag- like Madewell shirts! I bought about 8 shirts due to their awesome reviews and blogs on the internet saying they are the best plain shirts to wear! No!! They are cheap and awful. After one wash, they wrinkle so bad and some have already developed holes and weird marks after 1-2 washes! I've had way better quality shirts sold at target for $10 vs $16!! I just don't get it. My very favorite girl is Sitlaly , this young lady is the bomb! Sitlaly goes over and beyond the call of duty. I was in the fitting room and kid you not this girl not only told how my outfits looked, but would go and get me a larger or smaller size, so I didn't have to go to all the trouble of putting back on my clothes ( what a pain , right??) If I owned this place I would give Sitlaly a HUGE bonus, I would give her a raise, I would do anything to keep her in my store . They've been very good all of a sudden they have new management and new general management and work for Costco and get a Costco discount so they send all the employees there went there to get some shoes. they refused the Costco discount. The lady who said she was in charge Chamberlain Was very rude obnoxious mean I couldn't believe I was being treated that way at all so I asked for the district managers name from the young man he gave it to me. I called and spoke to her. She apologized. Said everything was gonna be made correct and for me to go in and see Chamberlain again, so I went in and all it was was a second chance for Chamberlain to attack me.
