I am so old I remember when this Target was BORN. This is one of the mega, mega Targets dotting the concrete jungle known as Phoenix. It has all the things and it has the least subtle loss prevention people in America (and the English speaking bits of Canada). They have a pharmacy - run through the auspices of CVS, a grocery section, camping equipment, and of course clothing. This Target is always clean and the people who work there are neither more or less surly than the employees of other Targets. They have ample parking but everyone - except me - drives like a blame idiot. They have a Starbucks, too. It's pretty nifty. read more

Pretty standard Target - clean, lots of options, and they have a grocery section for a one-stop-shop feel. The staff was friendly and when we passed by a worker they asked if we needed help looking for anything, bonus. Only complaint, which isn't really anything Target can control, but the parking is a tad crazy with all the people coming in and out both walking and in cars. read more

Just in town for a weekend and this place is the Mecca for Target shoppers. I came here with a friend to "just get a travel bottle of aloe vera," after she asked me if I just wanted to make a "quick trip to Target." We all knew what she meant by this. She meant, let's go to target but really let's spend two hours in the women's section to look at a new selection of bikinis, hunter's new line, and another new line called A New Day line. In Seattle, all of the Hunter gear was gone because of the weather, clearly. But in Phoenix it was still in stock. It was cool to check out but really wasn't interested in buying anything there. Especially since we're on the verge of Spring or what we hope would be spring by now. But since Phoenix's Target had all the summer stuff out - it was great to get a jump start on some of the clothing that would be coming out in Seattle. I wound up spending 99 cents on my travel bottle of aloe vera but $60 on three shirts, which was pretty good, in my opinion. Basically got a cute blue and white striped short-sleeved shirt for work, a long-sleeved light blue denim shirt, and a short-sleeved black shirt with a tiny white spaced-out polka-dot pattern. read more

Super Target indeed! The store is very clean, the associates are friendly, the shelves are well-stocked and with a wide variety of organic, green, and healthy products. As well as desserts! Bakery items, candy aisle, baking delights. They have a very tempting selection of frozen treats, too, like Archer Farms Gelato. The tiramisu is amazing. There's also a Starbucks, a little cafe with pizza hut express, a pharmacy and a small selection of fresh flowers. I recently moved to Phoenix. I had never had someone ask me if I need help in a grocery store before I visited this Super Target. I was suprised the first time it happened. Now that I am a frequent shopper I am not suprised by it. The associates in the store are amazing. I have to give a special shout out to Keith my favorite cashier. He is amazing. I always seem to end up in his line, and he is always up beat and helpful. He can always draw you into a mini-conversation at the register. ps: Wal-mart is horrible go to Target instead!!!! read more

I was on this side of town for an appointment and thought I'd run into Target and grab a few things on my way towards home. This was by far the worst Target shopping experience I've ever had. The store was a complete disaster. The shelves and displays throughout the store looked as if a tornado had come through the entire store. The people that were shopping there were a mess as well. I was disgusted by the whole experience and left empty handed-and ran back to my local Scottsdale store where it's clean and well organized. read more

This may be my favorite SuperTarget in the city for the sole reason that they always have MORE than enough checklanes open and they are always evenly spaced out. I know it sounds silly but it makes it so much easier to checkout. They even open the express lanes on the grocery side often which is nice to have when you only need one thing of milk or some deli chicken! Thuis SuperTarget like the rest has a Pharmacy, Photo, Optical, Starbucks, Pizza Hut Express, along with an incredible bakery and a super awesome deli with someof the best sandwiches. 4 stars instead of 5 due to parking being crazy at times. That's mostly on the weekends when youd expect it to be busier. I go here for just about everything...clothes, wine and snacks, home goods, and electronics. I've replaced many a phone charger cord here. Ordering online and picking up for free is a great time saver. read more

Target as a general rule is over priced on everything except diaper wipes and formula. I do not like there clothes every time I have gotten them I am not happy with the quality or fit. That is kids women's and men's. This store has a grocery store in it and I tried to grab a few thing when I stopped to get diapers and the selection was not there. read more

My self and my mother were verbally attacked by a older man in the target checkout aisle, the target cashier did absolutely nothing to stop the man from verbally attack my mother. And when we asked for the manager she pulled us aside as if we were the issue and said nothing to the man that was causing the issue. verry disappointed in my experience and I don't feel safe coming back to this store again. read more

Came in today and love how everything i was looking for was stocked. However it was pretty crazy in there. Its unbelievable how they have sooo mich check outlanes yet only a couple are open and all the employees that I've seen on the floor are all in registers. Fyi - update. Target continues to be OFF ------ (you know the rest) After posting the prior review, I immediately received a message from a Target Guest Specialist or something title like that. I was promised all SORTS of retribution and collaboration from them. They asked me to outline the issues/give them direct feedback. I took at least 30 mins to craft the young lady a response - and now it's been months without a response. I know what made them try to bury my counsel - I pointed out that they have a serious flaw in their online APP reconciling with what the prices and selections actually are in the stores. Steadfastness is key when dealing with a retail oligarchy that thinks it can ignore consumers. Although they've not even bothered to respond to the email "they" requested from me - Target likely feels if they just ignore the problem it will simply go away. They have part of that correct - I have stayed away from their stores. You Win Target read more

I just left this location..everything was fine. However the cashier who was ringing us up was rude. Redheaded lady with glasses. No name tag. At first she seemed nice , I asked how she was doing. She replied with "Tired" but then towards the end of the sale , she seemed flustered & annoyed that we counted our change wrong. The total was 193.20. We handed her $192. We gave her the 1.20. Her body language was stiff, she seemed pissed that we didn't hand her the correct amount the first time. We didn't say anything since the line behind us was getting long. O well. I love this giant target! I come here every time I'm in town visiting my brother and his family. The target team members are always nice and helpful. They have a huge market area. It's kind of tiresome of you have two kids with you and you need a long list of things lol. I guess that can be anywhere though! It's clean and nice. read more

I will pick Target over Walmart any day of the week and of the two Targets in my area I prefer this one. They have a full grocery section with bakery and deli along with everything else you expect from a Target. The staff here is very friendly and helpful. I had a whole cart of stuff and also needed something from the electronic department and they were nice enough to check me out there so I could have my coupon apply to my entire purchase. It was pain for the sales clerk but he was very pleasant and helpful. Just a little tip....wine can only be purchased at the front registers. Overall the store is clean, including the restrooms, and the parking lot is well lit. read more

My husband and I wanted to purchase a Roomba but found it for cheaper on Amazon. I wanted it right away though. We called Target and asked if they would price match, they said yes. We went to Target and when we went to the customer service desk they remembered that I called and were happy to help us with our ad match and our many gift cards. My only criticism is that our process took a while and there was a line forming behind us. They never called anyone to help the other people and I felt guilty. read more

I [HEART] SUPERTARGET! Seriously, this Target is wonderful. It just opened in December 2007 and is enough incentive for me to actually drive west of my townhouse (very rare). It is huge and gorgeous, everything is clean and very new. The produce and packaged goods selection is awesome--I actually find that going here can give me my Trader Joe's fix, because they have so many niche items and unique ready-to-prepare meals. From clothes to frozen foods to blenders to sushi, this place has it all. They make the entire experience so enjoyable that I can get lost here for ridiculous amounts of time. I even had a first date last spring that involved doing a SuperTarget tour (he knew the way to my heart ,obviously--a Friday night in red patent heels and a Target basket in-tow...sigh). For casual errands or major weekend nesting stock-ups, I highly recommend this Tar-get. read more

My husband and I moved away from the area in 2007, when the Super Target was being built. When we found ourselves in the area last weekend, we wanted to see what all had changed, and this was at the top of our list. Surprisingly, we have never set foot in a Super Target so this was a first for us. AHHHHHMAZING! This place is huge. I knew it would be, but wow!! The grocery section is really what makes it "super" but the rest of the store is larger than your average Target. Some of the departments carried additional merchandise but it did seem like there was a lot of empty space. It's that time in the season where summer stuff starts to go on clearance to make room for the new items coming in so this could have contributed to that. The grocery section is nice..not as abundant as your average supermarket of course, but they did have a decent selection. I normally wouldn't choose to buy produce and meat from a Target, but if I lived in the area I might consider buying from this one. There isn't an onsite butcher, all meat is prepacked (like a Trader Joe's) but there is an onsite Bakery and Prepared Foods area. Items were competitively priced, I didn't notice any great deals or anything that was overpriced. Einstein's Bagels has a self serve case in the bakery section, that that looked pretty sad. The other food aisles were well stocked and easy to shop. Target, in general, is one of my favorite stores. As far as product, stores are consistent. At this location the prices are higher than my local store but that wouldn't stop me from coming here if I was in the area and needed to pick up some things. The store is really clean, employees are nice, and if I lived nearby I'm sure I would be here everyday. This store is a great upgrade from the one that was here 6 years ago. read more

I shop at this Target because it is right by my house. I am paying for convenience. The store is always clean. The employees are always nice. The lines are always long at the checkout. I love everything about this particular store except that it does not seem to matter the time, or the day their checkout lines are always three or four carts deep. ARGH. Do you need to show your cash/ credit cards at the door?? I dropped my boyfriend off to do some Christmas shopping here while I ran to a nearby store to pick something up and then I'd meet back with him to do more shopping at Target. About 5 minutes after dropping him off he calls me saying he is being stalked throughout the store by target security. Now my boyfriend is a very well dressed, very professional man and we came here about to spend a lot of money for Christmas shopping so the idea of him being treated like a criminal made us both very upset. We only spent about $60 dollars and then left because we were so peeved about the whole situation. After getting home I spoke to one of my coworkers and she said she had the exact same situation the month before while shopping with her husband at this exact store. This makes me wonder if we now need show all our cash and credit cards to be given respect in this store. read more

Super. Target. Is. SUPER!!!! I go here like once a day, I swear :) Well, when I'm in town. Was just there again today---can't stop myself. I'm such a Target girl---and I've been fortunate in all my travels and moves to various states/cities that I've ALWAYS been by a Super Target---and this one is fabulous. Its clean (thank you for the cart wipes--and sorry I use like 5 every time I shop with a cart!), always very well stocked (except when Britney's new cd came out--raincheck! Went there last night and wow, No one was smiling. It was rather unpleasant shopping there. Was getting crap for price matching something on amazon and wouldn't honor it. Guy at tech department was very unpleasant. If you're that unhappy with your job maybe you should find something you're happy with. What was funny is hearing them once they thought I walked away and the two guys at tech lookin down on me cause I like to save money if I can. This is my go to spot for grocery and other household needs. Its on my way home from work, so its easy for me to swoop in and grab what I need. I love their archers farm brand of products! I haven't been disappointed yet! The staff is always super friendly and helpful! I also fill my prescriptions here and they have always been great! Last night I went in for some groceries and went through Ellen's check out line. Seriously, nicest lady I have ever met. She was soooo sweet, so friendly and just a real pleasure to talk to. I was sad when I had to pay and leave, could have chatted with her all night. read more

I love super target! This place has everything you can ever need. Not only is this facility clean, and their employees know where things are located, they have the best produce in the world (okay maybe not the -world- but you know what I mean). It's hard to find a large apple in Arizona that doesn't have big ol bruises in it, but Super Target has them bright and delicious. What more can I say? Started visiting this target store about a year ago and initially I was impressed. Over the course of the past 12 months I have first hand witnessed this company plummet in customer service and pricing. And now the kicker is their pharmacy, again I have been a customer for over a year and have filled (2) prescriptions every month, same medication, same dose, same doctor so it should be no surprise I am refilling this week right?? Dropped off on Monday, normally takes 30 minutes no problem, well I was told medication was out of stock and had to be ordered, it will be in Wednesday. Wednesday comes around, no medication come in Thursday. Thursday comes around, guess what? No medication come in Friday. These are both vital medications and I cannot be off them and they know this, now its been (4) days still nothing. I took prescription went across the street to Walgreen's, filled within 20 minutes. So, terrible customer service, high prices and what clearly appears to be the worse pharmacy ever with no care what so ever for your health. Wish I could give this company a lower than (1) star rating because they genuinely deserve it. Target = FAIL! Never again, Walgreen's for prescription and back to local grocery for shopping. This is my favorite Target to shop at. Their associates ask me at least once or twice of I'm finding everything ok. I get all my prescriptions filled here. The girls are super friendly and always greet me but my first name. I usually get one or two of their 5% pharmacy reward coupons in the mail, then double that up with my Target check card.b allowing me to save 10%. I absolutely love that they have. Starbucks inside. You could use your Target card to save money, or you can you use your Starbucks gift cards. I would rather shop here over Walmart any day. read more

Meh. I was not a big fan of this Target. I usually go to the desert ridge one but this one is closer to my house. I would give this Store a 5 for customer service because the girl at self checkout was fantastic. My three stars is because of the cleanliness of the store. The store is a mess. I couldn't even figure out which sections were for the women because it was so disorganized. The dollar section was a disaster, which is the first thing you see when you walk into the store. And there was clothing on the ground everywhere. It makes me wonder if the clothing that I just bought spent a great amount of time on the floor. I saw many employees but no one making an attempt to pick up the store at all. I'll probably just go to desert ridge next time. A longer drive is okay when it keeps me from a frustrating shopping experience. read more

My favorite Target store in town for many reasons... The store is always clean. They have a huge selection. The grocery store has EVERYTHING. The prepared foods/deli section can save me from cooking for days. I love the huge selection of household storage. The checkout is painless. They always have a good number of lanes open so I never have to wait in long lines. I'm even impressed with the short wait I had to return something during holiday season. I wish they could improve the parking situation. The lot is huge, but the store is at a narrow end where there is less parking. That means there are plenty of spots to park, but they are all far from the door. Good thing rain is rare. It would make the walk to the car pretty bad. My favorite Target! Always clean, always well stocked. Ample parking and right in my neighborhood. Love all the green products that Target carries for cleaning. They have a family restroom and a changing table in the ladies room as well. However, the changing table in the women's rest room is right up against the door, so it's a bit awkward for people walking in to get around you. read more

This Target is great. Never out of certain groceries, great prices, cool hair stuff [and always markdowns in that department]. I love that it's also clean. This Target used to be my SPOT, my main squeeze, for pregnancy cravings. Icees and pretzels with cheese, if you please. It's target, but only SUPER! Pretty much has everything every other target has but more, including groceries! I realize that some targets don't always have the same things due to size and all that but this one has enough space to pretty much carry everything they offer in store. Great experience! Excellent customer service. I'm new out here in AZ and came to this Target location with both of my sons. Jo was amazing! His customer service was over and beyond. I'm not too savvy on insurances but he broke it down where I understood very well. The doctor Tyler Trigg made us feel comfortable and he knew what he was doing.
