I've bee going to this Target, like, my whole life. Which isn't saying much... but it's gone through about 3 major remodels and it keeps getting better. Usually. As far as their variety of things goes, pretty decent. Clothes, food, electronics and a little bit of stuff in between. Their grocery is nicely organized (their freezer section has some sort of motion-sensor lighting or something it's cool/freaky!) With that said, sometimes their staff isn't always helpful but they've been getting better at it. I dunno, it's just a lot less stressful shopping at Target. It doesn't smell funny, people are more than half dressed... The parking lot is ok, too. Sometimes you get a dillhole who doesn't understand the concept of slanted parking spaces, and people like to park along the curb out front, but otherwise it's okay. read more

I love Target. If my budget would allow it, I would buy almost everything in this store. Although Walmart is closer to home, it's the red bull's eye that always entices me away. The one thing that I wish this store had was a Starbucks attached. If you're on a budget, the clearance section is a great place to browse thru. read more

When you need the essentials for everyday....I think of Target, because they have everything from groceries to personal hygiene. to music and dvd selections....they even sell my gift cards for my sony e-reader....to buy books online for me to read... i usually get the $25.00 sony e-reader gift card...along with others i need to buy and still have money left over.... Target customer service and sales associates are helpful no matter what they are doing...and it's full of positive energy....leaving me wanting to come back...like most department stores....they also sell clothing and i usually buy pants, hoodies, shorts, socks and underwear for the kids...i even bought a few hats from target that i wear with my style.... the location of a nearby Target is usually around places where you live which is probably the idea...i like that idea...that it is close to home....but some driving for me is involved usually... read more

This Target is pretty cool. It's not as nice or large as the other Targets I've been to in southern California or in the South but it's all good. I'm not too fond of the parking outside of the store (which is pretty much why I'm giving it a 4 out of 5 star rating). The inside of the store is clean and well organized. There is a grocery section here as well. Majority of the employees there a very nice, friendly, attentive, and helpful. Last time I went there, my friend and I were stuck looking for an item that we had no idea which isle it would be on. One of the workers saw that we looked lost and asked us if we were looking for something. We told her and she knew exactly where it was at and she directed us to the appropriate isle where this particular item we were hunting for was located. However, in this same visit, the other worker at the cash register wasn't as friendly and you could tell that she didn't want to be there. read more

It's your typical Target store. It's open until 10pm, they have a grocery store now, and a decent selection of everything else. They carry better brands of shampoo (some of the slightly higher end stuff sometimes) and the overall quality is good. This store in particular is pretty clean and their employees have always seemed happy to work here and have had a smile on their faces whenever I've had to ask for help finding something or during check out. I love Target more than I do Wal-Mart. This Target is nice and clean. They recently remodeled. Plus it's close to my job. They even have a chase ATM inside which is super convenient! Parking can be a pain sometimes... Especially during the holidays. They have security driving around which makes me feel safe. I like this Target because they don't question you when you return an item. Some of the other Targets I've been to are not as friendly. read more

Can't really evaluate much here because I've only ever bought ice cream, but their ice cream section is excellent! In particular, their Ben & Jerry's flavors; might not be the most extensive display, but there are several flavors exclusive to Target. You want to know what enlightenment feels like? Try the Ben & Jerry's Peanut Butter World. The store has been clean and organized every time I've been in there, and on the few occasions the wife has needed something, we've never come up short. It does sometimes have homeless lingering by the front doors, but it has never seemed dangerous at all. Oh, and the birds in the trees along the edge of the parking lot are in-SANE. One time I parked, looked at the trees and thought "Wow, it's really windy." Then I got out of the car, noticed there was no wind, and realized the movement I was seeing was a crap-ton of birds. ANYWAY, birds or no birds, this is a decent Target if you need clothes, household items or a few groceries. Prices on food aren't superb, so I'd still go elsewhere for the main grocery shopping, but it's good in a pinch. read more

This location is okay. Not one of favorites, but its conveniently located in the Arden-Arcade section of town. Lots of birds like to sleep in the trees between the lot and the apartment complex next door, so try to avoid parking there unless you want lots of poop on your car. They carry pretty much all the items I need, but its the parking lot that drives me a little crazy. Cars driving too fast, and people walking without looking. It feels like an accident waiting to happen. My nerves are always a little frayed when driving to and from there. read more

My wife's wallet was stolen at this store around 6:20 pm on 11/10_2020 . When she wwnt to ask the return/customer service. The Black lady at returns was very rude not wanting to help me at all. This is not costumer service at all. This person does not like her job and should not work at customer service. I wouldnt say my comment is directed at this particular location but in regards to their exchange policy company wide. I so happened to come in to this location to exchange out diaper sizes. No receipt but i thought it wasnt nessicary anyways as i had my baby shower registry with them and the diaper box was unopened and so forth. Nope they penalized me for that. Instead they charged me more money for the new diaper size (refunding me only a percentage of the original purchase). Mommies beware!! Management Staff at this Target are rude ,disrespectful and try to shame people. Witnessed a lady trying to get a price match in a item and the staff told her she should buy it from the competitors rather than make the manage come over. I attempted to price match as well as was told No flat out by management who then walked away from me. I love this Target. You can get to it from a few different streets and the parking lot is huge. They always seems to have just the right amount of cashiers ready so I have never had to wait long, even around Christmas time. This is where I go for all of my non-grocery needs. Prices are good, store is clean, staff is friendly. I was most surprised on Black Friday. I went in there around 10 am and the store, while very busy, looked like it hadn't been touched! The worst customer service ever we went in around 9 about to be 10 after we get our beers and walked to the front for check out the denied our service because they can't sale any alcohol once it's 10pm which I find stupid..if that was the case they would lock the fridge doors to be able to have access to beer like they do at any other store or at least close the aisle for the alcohol beverages not even Walmart does that..they need to change this rule because they just lost 3 of its loyal customers and also I became a credit card member with them for the same reason to be able to purchase any item at any time of the day..guess who will be canceling their credit card tomorrow. read more

I have been coming to this location since I move to the area about a year ago, but have been a loyal target shopper for many years. Recently the store has decided to complete renovations and updates while the store is open. What a disaster. Nothing makes sense in this store anymore. Starting with the entrance, there is one entrance and exit door that is shared. So customers have to fight each other to get in and get out. They also no longer have cold food items in stock, the refrigerators/freezers are just empty. Really disappointed by my last few experiences here. read more

This Target is terrible in a ghetto location and only has 1 security officer for the whole location , cars are getting broken in to daily being that their are apartment complexes packed with drug addicts & homeless people camping out across the street , I was a victim of someone breaking in to my car 5-7 min of leaving my car , alone to grab bananas inside the store 604.00 dollars was the out of pocket damage and in order to view the theft , I need a court order ! Target is cheap and greedy to only employ 1 security officer ! Leaving their customers cars with no protection or security while knowing the location has had many break ins for vehicles if you value your car do not shop here they offer no support for their customers just a sorry for your loss we have had a lot of issues with vehicles getting broken in too yet they due nothing to help prevent these types of incidents by being cheap and greedy and not providing adequate protection in the parking lot for their customers a BILLION dollar company that is taking handouts from the government and still cannot pay for security! 1 security guard for the entire property SHAME ON YOU TARGET !!!! Sunday morning, 2/18/18 - one lane open and backed up with several customers. I asked the lady at the check-out counter if she would call for another clerk to open another counter. But she said no, and that I could go to self-serve. I went to look for another clerk to ask for the manager. The only person I found was helping an elderly lady at self-serve (the elderly lady, looked like she clearly did not want to be at self-serve and that she couldn't do self-serve, so a store employee had to do it for her). I asked the person helping the elderly lady, if she'd call the manager, and she said she was the manager. Her name was Patricia, who was very rude and refused to open another lane. She finally came over and told us to go to the returns counter on the other side of the store, to check out our purchases. She would not actually open another check-out lane - and was so rude as to have us take our shopping carts way over to the other side of the store, where they do returns! Today I called and asked to speak to the general manager, who is Chris Nezbeth. He tried to use the excuse it was because Wal-mart had shut down recently, so they had more customers. He said I had a one time bad experience which hopefully wouldn't happen again. I told him it wasn't a one time experience and that the lack of enough check-out lanes has been a problem for years. However, this was the first time they not only refused to open a second check-out lane, they sent us to the return counter in the back with no belt and a tiny space to unload our carts - an awful experience. Over a dozen check-out counters in the store, but they refuse to open a second check-out counter on a very busy Sunday morning - instead sending customers to the return counter, which is totally not set up for checking out dozens of items. This store should be boycotted until they make a firm commitment to excellent customer service every hour they are open. (I've been a fan of Target since my childhood in Minnesota, where Target was founded. Plus I am a shareholder. So asking people not to shop there could affect my shares. I love all Targets, even though I know I shouldn't, but hey I'm a slave to cheap prices, and refuse to shop at Wal-Mart. This is a nice Target and it's in a convenient area. It now has the "grocery" section which I wouldn't recommend for produce. Frozen, beer, and some sale items are your best bet in that area. My only complaint: Uhhh when did Target employees begin caring about their customers. Now don't get me wrong I love excellent customer service I have worked for some of the nations top companies for customer service, but I think they're getting wrong idea. I have worked at Target years ago, and it's not they told you to ignore people, but they certainly didn't tell you to go get em either. Example: I'm in the feminine products isle looking at tampons (sorry if this is TMI, but hey it's the story!) a manager, who is male, comes up to me and asks if he can help me find anything. I tell him no thank you. He stays standing there, and says, "Are you sure you don't need help finding a product?" UH YEAH I'M SURE! AWKWARD! Good thing I don't get uncomfortable easily. Otherwise I can't complain! Just everyone stop asking if I need help while never even stopping to see if I actually say yes. read more

This review is for Target's CVS Pharmacy ONLY: While the rest of the store's employees are for the most part unfriendly and do not acknowledge your existence as you walk past them in the aisles, Target's pharmacy area is not like this at all. I have been filling prescriptions here for a couple years, and have always received excellent customer service from Alan. He's friendly, greets customers when they approach the counter and even acknowledges those waiting in line behind the current customer he is assisting, and he goes out of his way to make your pharmacy experience as convenient as possible. When I moved to Oregon, Alan made sure that all of my prescriptions were transferred to the Target in Oregon, and when I come home from Oregon on break to visit family and happen to run out of a prescription, Alan makes sure I can fill my prescriptions here. Thanks to him, it doesn't matter what state I'm currently in; I know that I will always manage to get my prescriptions filled! Alan has a great memory, and when I came to pick up a prescription today, he asked me how Oregon was. Small courtesies such as this really make one feel valued as a customer, and it really goes to show that Alan's the best pharmacy employee I've ever interacted with! read more

I guess it just doesn't quite have the Walmart factor but you can pretty much find all the same stuff. This is my go-to Target location. I like going here because it's near my place. I also like the parking situation because it's their own lot and even if it's a busy day, you will still find parking somehow! This location also has a wide selection of food, to electronics. You guys know what Target is all about! This location is excellent! Their employees are kind and patient. I honestly choose this location over any other Targets in Sacramento area. I've even used their photo developer machine and that was convenient as well. Another reason I like going here: I know where everything is already! read more

The second I walked in I noticed this target was really nice and clean, I asked the lady if she can tell me where the men's clothes were. She did and then told me if I needed anything else just to let her know which I thought was really night.i tried on a couple things and they were just so friendly. When I was about to pay, the cash register guy was so nice and friendly and we just started talking and it was like I had known him for a long time . Came here for their weekly ad deals. Items were sold out. Asked for a rain check so that when item becomes available ill get the sale price. Customer service cashier told me they don't give rain checks. (Really? ) Asked me lots of questions. Basically in the end. She wanted me to do her job for her. And I walked out if there empty handed. Stores clean. Not a lot in stock. The Employees up front were Very rude and passive aggressive when i needed help with my ebt card. It's embarrassing enough to be using it. It didn't work at self checkout and i tried every button so i called to make sure i had a balance and asked a team member to pause the transaction so we can step away and let the other people in line go. She said it is too much work and walked away, then we had to get the attention of another employee to get her to check us out at a register. She kept trying to say it was my fault and i didn't have enough when i just called. I tried all the buttons on the self out check out and clicked the wrong button at the register and very loudly she says it declined so i tried again and it went through finally. She then it a point to tell me i was doing it all wrong. We both felt so embarrassed and they made it 10x worse. Both of them were older ladies with grayish hair and heavyweight. I just had a horrible experience at my local Target. I've been shopping at this Fulton Ave location for more than 2 decades. Today my checkout experience was the perfect storm of terrible! The female employee that started my transaction was sent on a break after she had started helping me. The male employee that took over was not made aware that I had coupons that the previous clerk had already collected from me. Two items in my cart were packaged incorrectly. And instead of being wrung up as 2 items, they wrung up as 24 items. A supervisor was called over, he closed out my transaction and took me to a different check stand. Between distractions it took him 10 minutes to fix the error and remove the 24 items. When I got to my car I reviewed my receipt and discovered that my coupons had not been scanned. I returned to the original check stand and my coupons were still there. The clerk gave me my unused coupons and directed me to Guest Services. After waiting my turn at Guest Services an employee was able to get all but one of my coupons to work. The coupons that worked totaled up to $5.25, but the coupon that didn't work was for another $5 off ( a Target exclusive coupon for $5 off of a $15 purchase that came in the mail today). This exclusive coupon didn't work and the employee wouldn't rectify the situation by offering me the $5 on a gift card so I could use it on a future visit. At this point I needed to go to my daughter's soccer game and couldn't waste anymore time... I am super frustrated because everything I bought today could have been purchased at the nearby Winco. Winco is closer to my residence and my coupons would have worked there. I would have gone to Winco today if it hadn't been for that $5 Target exclusive coupon THAT DIDN'T WORK!!! Next time I guess i'll save time and go to Winco! *To further add to my frustration...I had my 4, 6 and 9 year old in tow. into the car, out of the car back into the store, from one line to another... read more

This Target location is getting a total makeover, which makes it super hard to find a lot of items because they moved items from one location in the store to another. For example, today, it took me at least 30 minutes to find Dixie Bath cups because they moved the item from the toiletries Section to the paper product section and the customer service here stinks. One sales associate told me that it's in the home improvement Section, another told me that it's in the "G" Corner (Expecting that somebody who doesn't work at Target know what that is), and then finally an employee walked me over to the Dixie Cups. Finally, when I get to the aisle, it was stacked up on the top shelf and there was nobody there to help. I had to really practice self-control today at Target because I thought I was gonna lose my temper with the horrible customer service and remodeling at this location. read more
