This is only directed at a young lady working in the electronic/phone area of the store. On Fulton Ave. Monday afternoon On March 28,2022. Around1:00-1:30pm. Her name is Sara ( not sure if I spelled her name the correct spelling) I am not sure if she ever had any training in customer service let alone raised how to properly talk or interact with people. Went in looking for a pay-as-you-go phone for someone who was in the hospital. Unfortunately they did not have any displayed all they had displayed was price tags of what should've been displayed there. I had asked Sara if They were all sold out she told me NO! I proceeded to ask her if she could show me a couple of the phones. She rudely he told me NO she could not that I would have to pay for one before she could even bring it out of the back to show me. I explained that I cannot pay for something I have not even seen That there was not even a photo or description of the phones. Sara proceeds to tell me too bad. I couldn't believe her attitude and I asked to speak to a manager she told me No! Explain to her she didn't have to be so rude to me. She then came aggressively toward me and told me that she did not even have to sell me anything and can refuse service to me. what the heck, Why was she so rude and aggressive? I just wanted to buy a phone and leave how hard could that be? so I proceeded to walk away find and speak to a manager. I left my poor mother in a wheelchair while I left to go get a manager. I came back with one Sara stood in the background laughing saying that was not her manager. The two managers that did help my mother and I , did ask the Sara to leave and go in the back. Then they proceeded to come out with several different phones and helped us out . It was a simple as that. I explained to him that she had told me that she could not show me not one phone unless I paid for it first and they could not believe what they had heard. we had several other people around us who had heard that also, who seemed very flabbergasted. this young lady sara maybe needs to go through some anger management classes and maybe does not belong working around customers. Sara hopefully some day you can not only learn your job but how to properly treat and speak to people and not be so angrily aggressive towards people, try to find some kind of happiness in your live. read more

This place has incredible discounts on medications, which is the main reason I shop here. My favorite pain medication is 35% less than the grocery store price. The Target subsitute for my favorite allergy medication is just as effective as the name brand, but 90% less than the grocery store price. Even Grocery Outlet's deal isn't that good, and Walmart only carries the name brand. This place has an excellent selection for durable goods as has incredible discounts as well. They have my favorite super glue that I can't find anyplace else, and it's 50% less than super glue at a grocery store. School glue is 50% less than at a grocery store, also. The wall filler that I get is only $2.54, but a different brand is almost $6.00 at a grocery store. Foods are also a good deal if you shop for bargains. A lot of items are 10% less than a grocery store. However, my favorite frozen pizza for $5.00 is two dollars cheaper than at Safeway and three dollars cheaper than at Save Mart. Unlike Walmart and most other discount stores, there are always plenty of checkout lanes with short lines open. Every once in a while, I'll even get lucky and a cashier with an empty checkout line will see me and motion for me to come to their checkout line. It doesn't get any easier than that. This a newly constructed Target store, sort of like the old Targets before "supermarkets" knocked them out. Upon entering the store you'll find a fair selection of clothing upfront. Keep right and pass stationary, cosmetics, and fashion accessories to get towards the grocery aisles. I was impressed to find small amounts of fresh staples (apples, bananas) as well as fridged and some frozen goods. Other departments were ample with selection, but not as much as you'll find in a SuperTarget. Checkout lines were only max of 10-15 registers and probably only a few opened during downtimes. The carts were also a newer/sleeker design. I like this Target - it won't cover all my groceries, but it was nice to shop in a smaller (less distractive) environment. read more

Overheard someone over he radio saying "the NWord" has left the store while I was in self checkout . He was referring to a black man that was stealing a bag full of merchandise. I get it, it's annoying to have ppl steal and you legally can't interfere however children and the other families in the store overheard who ever it was saying such foul description. I feel bad for the black family that overheard. She handed the clerk in self checkout something and walked out with her child and Partner. Please refrain from using such language you never know who's going to hear, they mentioned west Sacramento and I think my family as well will take the extra 20 minute drive to west Sacramento. read more

This is one of the worst Target locations I've ever been too. I've been going here on and off since the 90's, it's nice that they've remodeled it, however there are a few major issues that make this store miserable. Things are never in stock. If it's out of stock that's one thing, but the website is even incorrect and says they have something , I go in and it's bare shelves. the dynamic and vibe is bad, always screaming children and no employees on the floor. But you know who is on the floor, always? Those annoying overly caffeinated cell phone sales people in back of the store. People just want to shop. This store is ridiculous. read more

I do really like this Target but I have a few minor issues here and there which prevents me from giving them a perfect score. Honestly as other reviewers have said, there does seem to be a lot of social talk going on between the employees here and sometimes I even see it when I'm obviously looking around for assistance. However I have had some really nice employees help me out and the lines are never really too long. I would really like to give this target a 3.5 but since there's not a choice for that, I'll adjust it up a little higher just because it's so convenient to my house and they always have the beauty products I need in stock. read more

I swear Target employees are always making up their own darn policy's on pricematching...besides just "regular" shopping i have no problem w/ that at all. But if it's regarding pricematch, the employees are just horrible. The staff couldnt even find Target's policy, she takes off to see the store manager comes back and tells me they dont pricematch on a 1day or 2day sales from other store(i had the ad too) ?!?!?! Really, then whats the point of pricematching? idiots...gosh goes to show why more ppl shop at Walmart. Walmart doesnt even need an ad for proof...Walmart is truly for the customers, unlike Target...greedy company...urgh.... read more

I would give them 0 Stars. I purchased a Christmas Tree from them online, I go into store to pick it up. The cashier tells me I can't find your order. So I pull up the email, and he said, we canceled your order! Excuse me?? You charged me, and sent NO notification about cancelling my order. End result, No Christmas Tree, No Remorse from Target. OH WELL WE RAN OUT SO WE CANCELLED YOUR ORDER. okay....... Then why in the world did Target tell me in store, if we dont have it we can get it for you online. I don't understand what is wrong with this target. There is always a problem when checking out at the register. It seems like the cashier does not know what to do when they encounter a situation with a coupon. Its not just one cashier, its multiple cashiers. Its pretty explanatory with it comes to the coupon where you just read it and do what it say like filling in the price when you buy one and get one free. They are always calling to get an approval from the supervisor or manager and I don't know why. Its annoying and I don't go to this one anymore. read more

My guilty pleasure is going to Target on 65th. It is clean, parking easy in easy out and the employees are helpful. Now sure I also have found myself in lines there that are too long I ask the person in front of me to keep my place and I go to customer service ask for another cashier or two and they always politely comply. When I encounter an employee who gives me attitude I immediately ask for their supervisor and it gets attended to right away. I am a take charge person and this Target is very obliging so I love them. read more

First, I want to say that I am very disappointed in Target's website. I have had problem after problem with it. But, this review is for this store. The Managers there made up for it! When Target online caused me all these problems and I had to return items, the managers at this store were really understanding (and familiar with dealing with online problems!) This is our local Target, but it is often out of stock of things I need. I prefer to drive farther to the Target on Riverside because they usually have more inventory of the stuff I'm looking for. Also, the Target on Riverside has a very big Kosher food section, even though the major Jewish community (and only observant community) is closest to the Fulton ave Target, so I'm really confused by that. read more

Another formerly great store - one I frequented once or twice a week for many, many years - that I no longer shop at. There is rampant theft happening right before your eyes at this store, and management chooses to turn a completely blind eye to it. Where there is stealing there can be other, more serious crimes, and I don't want myself or my family exposed to it. read more

I absolutely love this Target. I am not going to bother comparing them to any 'other' store as its not possible, the selection is varied and awesome, the people are some of the friendliest I have met at any Macy's, and overall, just a great experience. Recently visited Target to purchase some computer speakers. I asked the electronics employee about the best desk top speakers and she was not very knowledgeable about these speakers. Probably a good idea to become knowledgeable about the electronics in YOUR department. I would probably go back. I did find some speakers at Frys. read more

Whenever I feel like I need to get some shopping dsone, for anything I want... I go to this Target. The staff is helpful, the store is always clean, and the prices... when you look for the right stuff, are great. I love their selection, and the over all experience when shopping. Keep it up! I requested items to be put on hold for me. The items were suppose to be up front waiting for me. I was disappointed when I arrived at the store and the Target operator did not follow through, so I had to wait an extra 15 mins. to get the items from the stock room. read more

Finally opened back up, things seem to be where everything once was....but they rearranged the men's department. I am glad they are open again, they are close to where I visit my nana, and I always make a target run afterwards! Great job of opening back up quickly! read more

Poor customer service, borderline racist return policies made up on the fly..i mean blatantly made up. Not well kept for a target...skip the trip here and take the 10 min drive to the natomas. Oh and even if u dont plan on returning anything keep ur reciept. read more
