I'm really disappointed in the employee here especially Mr Led from Electronics Department. I came in to buy an AirPods Pro and a MagSafe charger, but I didn't have the physical payment cards with me so I used the Target app to do the payment but it didn't go thru, after a few moments back and forth with Led, he decided to helped other customers and left me hanging, then he sent another team member to help him bring me up, but he chose to locked the item inside the locker without giving the other person the key, so both of us had to wait for him to get back, then he told that person to leave and let him handle the situation in which he went back and forth telling me that I was in the wrong, first he blamed my app, then he blamed my account, then he accused me of fraud, I tried to explain to him that nothing was wrong on my end, and that I went to another Target location in Linda Vista, they were able to bring me to guests services and manually input my payment card, he even told me that those people should be punished for doing that, he said noone supposed to do that, at this point he had repeatedly insulted my feelings also not being helpful because the line was getting longer at electronics checkout, so after waiting for a while I told him why don't you get more people to help those people because my situation might take longer to resolve, instead he said he couldn't help me, then sent me away. At least if he couldn't, maybe find someone else who could, took him few mins to came by and asked me if I needed help, I felt like I should have just brought the item to the customer service upfront myself, but then he probably prevented me to do so cause he would accuse me for stealing. This Target located in an area maybe alot of shoplifting happened, everything got security locked even for a cheap item. This Target is alright it's close to a Starbucks and a Jamba Juice. I do go to Walmart sometimes and I can see a huge difference in the merchandise and the customers. Also this Target seems more put together and cleaner. So this Target doesn't have two stories like the one in Mission Valley but it's still pretty good. They do have a small grocery section compared to Walmart but I still like Target better. The reason why I'm giving this Target 3 stars is because there's nothing really special about it like it's not a super Target. When I'm in the area and need anything I go to Target even though I know Walmart may have the same thing for cheaper. The quality at Target is so much better and because of that I will continue to shop there. read more

Shopping for this and that today. Target has a good selection of most items from lotions and soap, to foods, small appliances, home deocorations, fashion and more. The store appears to be clean and organized, the sales staff are friendly, cashiers are efficient. In most cases if I can not find a product at Walmart, Target will have it (ie. DVD's) new releases. Seriously? It's target. I'm pretty much a target fanatic. Wal Mart who? I love everything about this store. I am lucky I guess to always get friendly cashiers. The managers have worked with me If I have coupons and returns are easy (if I ever have any). They DO price match which is always nice. I find myself coming way too often. I only wish they had a Starbucks, but it's just across the parking lot :) I am a girl, and as such I like to look at the beauty section quite often. I do wish they stocked up a little more, usually when I look for particular items(that are popular in the makeup world), they are sold out :/ But, nonetheless, my experiences here are always pretty good. read more

How many associates does it take to open the display for a firestick? 3 employees and 35 mins. The first one got sidetracked by some flirting women, the second disappeared and the 3rd was very helpful but had to run to various managers for the tech key. Overall too long a wait and more reason to pollute the earth and get it thru Amazon. This store is awesome... I read the negative reviews and those people that posted them are crazy ( they're probably Wal Mart employees trying to give Target a bad name ). I'm gonna make this easy. Positives: 1. Yes during covid the lines are long... Actually they're 6x longer than normal... Why.. cuz everyone maintains a 6 foot distance while in however the line goes just as fast as normal.. during covid when the line is backed up to the liquor section it takes me about 10 minutes from the time I get in line to the time I get to a check stand. 2. This place is clean and bright and just an overall happy looking place.. like you want to stay in the store and browse... It's just inviting. 3. No shit..no joke.. all the carts work perfectly.. none of those bumpy wheels or carts that lead towards the left or right.. the carts are clean and just operate very smooth. 4. Compared to Walmart.. going to Target is just a more stress free shopping experience. Just walk in and give it a try you'll be happy you migrated from Walmart. 5. They advertise to everyone.. in the store you'll notice that they advertise towards ( I'm skinny ) big people, handicapped kids, not the prettiest people... We are getting individuals who seem to have a chip on their shoulder, unhappy about their jobs, and just plain rude. Today the young lady that brought my things out to my car should've just thrown the things in my car. She was just rude. Not acceptable. I love coming to this target. I'm a student at SDSU and I will always prefer coming to this location over the Mission Valley one. Some things I enjoy about this location is that the parking lot is much more spacious and easy to drive and maneuver through. There isn't a second story; there's one large floor. The alcohol section has great variety (similar to a target from back home). It is a much cleaner, neater, and friendlier environment. I will sometimes do their pick up in store option as I'm shopping in the store and they are incredibly punctual and on top of things when it comes to grabbing the materials. I've never had an experience where I had to wait the full 2 hours for my product to be ready-- it's usually about 20-30 minutes. The options at this target location are ample and similar to the online store in which you have more options to look at and choose from. My experience at this target has always been great and I look forward to more shops here! read more

Poor customer service; long lines due to only 2 registers open on a Sunday morning; "sale" tags that reflect a higher price than the original price (check the cereal aisle); messy aisles in general. Garrett was personable and professional! My Red Card wasn't working (because it was expired, doh!) and he asked if I'd like to have someone from guest services help me. I passed on his offer to help, but it was really nice of him to offer. He then asked if i knew about the discount for college students (I didn't!). He showed the QR code to get set up, which was super helpful! We were lucky enough to have two interactions with Garrett, as we had to go there again and he was our cashier! YAY - for us! This lemon grove location is the closest to my house, it is always really organized and I always have a pleasant time shopping there. Today was my first time shopping online and selecting pick up at store. The process was so easy and they even had a promotion if you spent $100 you get a $10 gift card (which I think is still valid until the 28th) they sent me a fast response email that my order had been picked and ready for pick up I went on my lunch break arrived at the location, no line and I was taken care of right away. Be aware that management allows solicitation on store property. Sometimes there are underage unsupervised children selling candy bars practically in the doorway, and sometimes there are other..."venders" who get aggressive when you try to go around them and don't buy their stuff. This is the only store at this location that allows solicitation on store property. Kohl's, Sam's Club, even the Walmart at this location does not allow solicitors on their store property. If you don't mind being solicited on your way out of the store it's not a bad place to shop. I no longer go to this Target. read more

They used to do customer service at this location. Now they do an empty Starbucks. What used to be a competent customer service desk has been replaced with two registers and not much intelligence. Target very nearly went out of business when Amazon stole their lunch. I stayed loyal because they were smart enough to realize price matching was all that could save them. Unfortunately, since they sold out customer service for Starbucks, they also appear to have hired special flowers who don't grasp what Amazon is to staff their customer service half assery. Apparently, "Prime Shipping Eligible" doesn't mean free shipping is eligible to Prime members. The geniuses are certain it means special membership pricing. As there are two types of products sold on Amazon: Those sold by a third party (not eligible for price matching) and those sold by Amazon (which, almost exclusively, means they are Prime Eligible), this means the characters at this store absolutely refuse to price match Amazon. Fortunately, Amazon are offering same day delivery, more and more. I look forward to the giant Starbucks they'll no doubt put in once their ruined customer service costs their last few customers. read more

I like this Target its normally not busy and I never really have to wait in a long line to check out my items. The floor plan here is very simple- everything is easy to find (UNLIKE WALMART, ALWAYS SWITCHING UP GZ) I also enjoy that they have a whole DOLLAR section right when you enter the store- totally makes me stop and go there first. The best part about Target is that they always have items on clearance, I mean I'm not a thrifty shopper but if I see something that I like & its on clearance, SURE WHY NOT- like today I got some wash cloths for $2.00, I guess it was apart of their BACK TO SCHOOL item that didn't sell and they need to move the old items out and bring in new items. Staff here are nice but I did see some people that weren't doing their job like just having a whole conversation while I'm like HELLO are you going to turn on the LIGHTS and say LINE (insert number here) is open? From the outdoor entrance the remodel looks great. Upon entering the look is updated and streamlined. Unfortunately for those that have shopped at Target in the past this remodeled Target misses it's mark. I think they should have taken that into consideration. They veered too far from their base model and lose some of their core shoppers. It seems they removed at least 25% of their inventory and placed what they do stock oddly around the store. I could not find the clothing lines that i had previously purchased. I do not like this updated method. Not sure I will be shopping here at this location as frequently as I had and wonder if other usual shoppers feel the same? I feel I'd rather go to a more original layout. On a side note both my daughter's like the flow of the new store, so maybe it appeals to a younger generation. My hubby says it feels very much like a department store. read more

We were shopping for a Go Pro that is water proof and has a helmet for hands free recording. Chase and Wesley were two amazing employees. Went in for literally only 3 items I didn't need a cart or basket so I carried my items in my hand. I went to self checkout and the attendant watched me scan my items which is normal. But to blatantly stand behind and watch me scan everything is a form of harassment. Other customers were at the self check out but she made sure to Watch me until I was done! I honestly don't know why this location has such crappy reviews. I used to be a target team member and feel like I can tell a good target from a bad one. This location is clean, well-stocked, big with a great selection, and there's always many registers open. I have been here many times and have personally never had an issue with checking out. Definitely prefer target over Walmart, but that's just my personal opinion. Love the selection at this location, love that they keep it zoned and maintained! I hate complaining, I've tried talking to several managers about their restrooms,I know it's public and it can be challenging to keep clean when it's busy. However it's barely 9 am, the store opened at 8am and the women's restroom has 2 out of order stalls, and 2 unclean filthy stalls. I spoke to the manager all he did was apologize instead of sending someone to clean it. I ask for Corporate number he referred me to Google, not I had to get her persistent with him to get the number. It's so ridiculous living in the 92115 area, all these Big box stores in this area they don't care about their customers like in the area I work 92108. They are forcing customers to shop online. Not happy with there online shopping. I purchased a television on cyber Monday from target online. They had a 15% online discount on top of sale price. There price was $999.00. Walmart's price was $997.00. Any how with the 15% online cyber Monday sale I was sold. I got an email it would be ready to pick up in a couple of hours. That was around 2 pm. I showed up at the store after 5pm. They could not find me in there system. This is after I showed them my email for purchase and pick up. They said there's nothing they can do. I just had to wait for a updated email. Okay I figured I'll pick it up the next day. So that night while I was sleeping is when the new email was sent from Target. New email stated that they canceled my order. So they can't just waste your time and money just because. I contacted them and got nowhere. Don't waste your time with target. I love the selection at Target it's not too cheap to the point to where the items you purchase are garbage but they are good enough to last you a while and made from pretty good quality.
