Stopped here to grab a Halloween Witch Hat for a special dinner event. I found the section that had them, but they were child sized. The Halloween section is super stocked, but not well organized. We stood in the checkout line for about 10mins because only 2 workers were available as cashiers. Today on Monday, July 7, 2025, I wanted to buy some more stuff at this Dollar Tree Store. The Dollar Tree Store always has fantastic deals on all of their products. I was running low on toilet paper last week, I needed to pick up a package. Paper Products are very expensive in every grocery store that I have done my shopping at around the Lemon Grove Shopping Center. Because a package of 12 Double Rolls of Toilet Paper always cost me about $9.00 to $15.00 at Walmart Supercenter Store, Albertsons Grocery Store, Food For Less, and the Ralph's Market. The best value for my budget I learned was to buy Toilet Paper at The Dollar Tree Store and I was charged the cheapest price of only $5.00. That's an AWESOME Price! Then I bought my essentials Candy Bars. These prices are also Great Value for my money, I bought my favorite Chocolate Candy like Milk Duds, Whoppers, Mike & Ike Fruit Flavored Candies, These prices were only $1.25 each. The Snickers Chocolate, Peanuts and Caramel Candy Bars. A package of 5 count is only $1.25. The Nestles Chocolate Crunch with Rice Crispies , the price is $1.25. Also for a package of 5 count. This Dollar Tree Store location is my favorite place to buy my candy and chocolate candy bars and my Toilet Paper. read more

This isn't the Dollar Tree location where I prefer to go, but it was supposed to be a quick stop for a few things. The main reason I don't prefer this location is that the products are usually SO disorganized. How can one choose a picture frame when there are, not only three or four different sizes in the same section, but also the same number of designs? This is also true of coloring books and a variety of other areas. This time, the store shelves were gutted out - where is all the product? I would think, this being the holiday shopping season, there would be an abundance of selection, or at least no whole sections completely bare. Wow... was I shocked and disappointed. My first time coming to this dollar tree and this dollar tree is huge! Has so many more Isles and all the isles are full. Super clean and the staff is friendly. I love that the isles are kept clean and stocked. I've found more things at this dollar tree than the other ones I been to. They have more skin care items here too which I like. read more

They need to make a sign saying "not taking 100$ bills" or "Not taking 100$ bills under 20$ purchase" If your order is under 10$ the manager will not come out to check the bill and the cashier will flat out lie to you while you can hear the conversation thru the phone. read more

Clerk said restroom was closed. Wouldn't loan out the keys as they usually do. Wouldn't give a reason accept that it was closed. Not out of order the woman at the register just decided she wouldn't allow people to use the customers restroom that's up front. I hope she is treated like she treats customers. read more

Its the dollar tree. Expectations are low. Despite they Always seem to be short staffed, store is clean and organized. I've never had an exceptional experience here, I guess why I've never reviewed before. However I did just have a pretty bad experience, with absolutely no help from store management nor "district manager" I pulled a Roblox gift card from the rack, rushed to the register. Paid. Ran to my car, only to realize the PIN was previously ripped off the gift card. So it's useless. I can not redeem the money I just added to it. I return to the store immediately. Cashier says SM has to deal with it. I wait. And wait. Finally she comes up and basically tells me I'm out of luck and there is nothing she can do. She calls the district manager. She said "it's not a dollar tree problem. It's a Roblox problem" Maybe they do have a point. But they sold me a gift card without a pin. It's my fault for not checking. But they could've accepted partial responsibility as well. Do they not check their gift cards? I didn't want money back. A curtesy store credit towards a complete gift card would've sufficed. I went to this Dollar Tree Store last night to find some last minute Easter stuff. I did not realize how big this store location is and I was able to find everything I need. Usually these dollar stores are super messy but the inside was actually still clean and not stuff thrown everywhere. There were helpful staffs on the floor that helped me look for what I need and the cashier was friendly too! I'm going to start going to this one instead of the Jamacha location :) read more

A lack of products on shelves! It's a crap shoot if you can get what you need shelves are not well stocked as we now have encountered post Covid times. Products are missing in all areas of the stores. The staff struggle to stock shelves do primarily do to shortages. We will continue to watch prices raise; gone are the dollar deals! read more

This has turned into one of the worst Dollar Tree stores!!! I needed some balloons for a birthday and you would think I was asking for a kidney. There were Balloons throughout the entire store the color that I needed was not in the blue catcher so I asked them to get the pink balloons outside of the store now mind you these aren't even good balloons they're from probably Valentine's Day which is a month ago and they don't even look that great, but it was the color that I wanted. You would think that the manager would want to get rid of those balloons and also clean up the store a little and make it look nicer but no , I later called and asked to speak to a manager which I got the same young man who said yeah well I can try but yeah it's probably not gonna happen to just gather the balloons so I could pick them up in an hour or two so basically they don't wanna work they're not interested in working at that store so if you can just don't even bother going by there and they're all out a stock of a lot of things anyway, it's sad that people just don't want to help with customer service these days if I ran my business like this, I would be out of business before I even got started... Nice Big Dollar Tree store. Lots of parking in front. All the workers had great customer service. Special mention to the cashier Patty. She was great. Super nice & friendly to my family. I previously made the choice to shop at the Grossmont Center location, but recently gave this store another chance. Have to say I was pleasantly surprised at the energy and welcoming atmosphere. Was assisted by staff member, Jessica. She was personable and actually asked me to come back, after I mentioned going to another one that was further away. That one request did it for me. You ever come across an employee who works as if it were their business? That's the kind of vibe I got from this young lady. My son went to buy me balloons for my birthday the cashier was extremely rude when he accidentally let them go and he asked for 4 more she told him he would have to pay for the ones that were on ceiling . Walking into a Dollar Tree, I never expect much other than a building with a bunch of little goodies for a dollar. This one was much like the rest. Pretty Large with a wide selection, Generally Clean and kept up. Parking is decent, due to a shared private parking lot. Honestly, my only qualm is that it took me a long time to check out. With three workers on hand (one appeared to be a manager), the manager and other woman stood around talking while the other girl did her best to help the patrons waiting. While I waited there for ten or so minutes, the cashier rang up at least four customers and worked a phone call (while still working cashier). She provided good customer service, but unfortunately couldn't do everything on her own. Sad that the manager would not even help or assign backup for a few minutes to help move the line along. Overall, I spent at least twice the amount of time waiting in line than I did shopping for the few items I needed. read more

Newly opened store in the location of the old smart and final. Well stocked, and employees were nice. Same layout as smart and final just shorter display cases. They charge for bags, so make sure you bring your own. Lots of Christmas things in stock now in addition to the regular array of food,house supplies and crafts. Inventory control is a company issue. The manager has always been nice enough to check on things and attempt to order what sells in this location. For the most part, it's the only location that I can find most of what I need from this type of store. Wheat bread and Brim's Popcorn are the best and are always in and out of stock. Lines can get long. Unless you really need those items. Comeback when it's not as busy. read more

I was so happy to see this store open in my neighborhood. It's so neat and clean. I've been a retail customer for decades. The ladies who work here need to brush up on how to check customers out, how to open additional lines, and how to talk to customers who may be disgruntled. One of the youngest ladies who is heavy set is wonderful. She should be on track to become a manager, because she's respectful of all customers, not just to the ones that look like her. I will not return to this store and I was there every week. As long as those ladies are there, I'll take my business elsewhere. read more

I went in today and purchased a large transaction I even donated to their fundraiser which was for school supplies for Military families and the cashier was very rude to me. Moises was his name. He forgot to charge me for some water that was still at the register as he was ringing me up. I didn't notice this at the time because I had a lot of items. As I left the store after I paid. I was putting my bags away in my vehicle and I noticed the waters were missing so I grabbed my receipt and went back in the store. He was still at the register ringing up other customers and he noticed me when I came back and I told him that he forgot to charge me for the waters that were still sitting there. I tried to reach for them to stand back in line to pay for them and then he started yelling at me in front of other customers accusing me that I was trying to cut them in line. I was not trying to cut anyone in line I even apologized to the customer excusing myself as I was just trying to grab the water that was still sitting there because they were originally mine. She even told me that she didn't even know what was going on? First of all if he noticed they were left behind at the register when he was originally ringing me up he should of said something to me in the beginning before I left the store? You can't just assume a customer doesn't want an item? If I was his manager I would have been embarrassed on how he was treating me. This was very unprofessional, embarrassing, rude and unnecessary. I told him he didn't have to be rude to me and he didn't care he kept going off on me as he's ringing up customers! I was treated very poorly and didn't deserve that treatment by one of your employee's It seems that Dollar Tree doesn't believe in customer service and doesn't care how they treat customers and also how your company and store are being represented. I will never return here or shop at your store again I'd rather spend my money elsewhere! If I could rate your store and company it would be a zero! I love this store! The people are not only friendly, but helpful. I even had the manager (while training a new employee) help pack 400 Easter eggs in my bag. I was disappointed by the candy selection. But the eggs will work. I have never been disappointed with the quality of the employees. I regret I didn't ask for names.
