The produce and meat departments are always fresh, and it's hard to leave without finding something new to try. The food court is consistently on point, and the gas station is worth the stop with its competitive prices. Since moving to Tennessee, this has become my go-to Costco. Great selection, great service, and a shopping experience that's always worth the membership. Definitely one of the better-run Costco locations I've visited.

So I went up to the front myself and told them that my son had thrown up, I sincerely apologize and I tried to clean it up the best I could. The women in the front with colored hair winched, gagged, said "gross!!!!!" And "oh great. That's nasty" to us with such disgust that it made my son cry in the car from feeling so awful about it. Who hires people like this? It was an accident and he's a child. Grow up.

Everyone was pretty friendly although it was VERY busy, and intense. All but the one short gray haired lady at the end who checks your receipt. I'm not sure WHY she looked at me like she did, didn't smile, and was rude, even the way she handed me back my $800.00 receipt. Like... the entire process, besides me not liking crowds, was pretty nice until the old woman, who you'd think would be nice, or smile... was just the ickiest vibe. Do I not look like I could afford $800 ? I don't know what her deal was, but I'm glad I don't have to go back soon. Maybe she'll retire by then (if that is still a thing). The opposite of a Walmart greater.... A Costco grump that eyes you & doesn't smile at all. Worst person for that job. Killed the whole vibe on the way out with her shitty attitude. She's not a people person. Maybe she's more of a paper-work gal? There was a young Spanish guy that walked me to find the one type of yeast you carry, and knew just where it was, and showed me the symbol that meant they wouldn't be restocked. THAT kid was GREAT! I ended up parking in front of the midpoint of both stores. I then walked over to Dollar Tree. There is a ton of parking in this plaza. Since it was a couple of days since I had arrived in Nashville, I was already thinking about doing laundry. I find that Dollar Tree has the best laundry supplies rather than shelling out for them at any hotel. I ended up getting a small box of Gain scent enhancers and a small bottle of Gain liquid laundry detergent. I am normally not matchy-matchy with these items, but it was kind of funny that it happened. This store had cute, small Disney plushies. I looked at them fondly such that a woman felt like she needed to take a look. She was not as enamoured with them as I was. This store has a decent assortment of sugar-free candy. I got a package of lemon drops and a package of Werther's original. They are yummy. I brought the remainders back to Markham. The sugar-free single packet drink flavours are also great. This store has Hawaiian Punch, which was new to me in this format. I paid for my items and got a nice woman at the cashout area. I used a credit card. Tap worked fine here. We wished each other a nice day and I left with my goods. The liquid laundry detergent lasted my entire stay in Nashville. I did two loads of laundry. You don't need a whole lot of scent enhancers, so I brought what I had left back. I do love the smell of Gain. When I unpacked one of my pieces of luggage, I saw a note from Transportation Security Administration indicating that my luggage was randomly inspected. I think this inspector would have been pleased at the scent of clean laundry with scent enhancers while conducting my luggage review. Well, at least it made me happy taking a whiff. It's a good Dollar Tree. It's also deadly having two of my favourite stores side by side. (252)

The ambiance was calming and aesthetic. Today, this location has been transformed into a corporate shell of what it used to be. Instead of wandering aimlessly from aisle to aisle looking for a good book, customers find themselves turning in circles as the aisles and section are laid out in an impossible to navigate configuration. If you are lucky enough to find what you are looking for, the prices are outrageous. Where the cafe was once a haven for students and remote workers, now only stale pastries and lukewarm coffee stand. The only thing this B&N has going for it is the service. Employees are always kind and helpful, even if the answer is always, "It's not in stock, but we can order it."
