This review is based on the general Pizza Hut food offering at Target right now at this particular Target. I had this Llama Cotton Candy flavor and I like it when they have a "special" slushie flavor sometimes. The pizzas they offer are at random and the breadsticks are in rolls and not the typical bread sticks like before. The pizzas were never the personal pizza style that I remember that is what is truly what makes Pizza Hut good (to me) and not just blah. The breadsticks are no longer bread sticks, but these so-so mini "cinnamon" shaped rolls that taste kind of good, but not as good as the original Pizza Hut breadsticks. You can't even ask for them at Target and they just put them out at random whenever they feel like making them. It's ashame they feel like this model will make them more money. They basically expanded the Starbucks cafe and took out the space that was used to make the prior Pizza Hut food. The quality has gone down. The slushie I had was still on-point and quality from Target. I will be trying to avoid this Pizza Hut food from Target from now on and go somewhere else for quick warm food if I can help it. read more

They never answer the phone in customer service/ store pick up nor any other dept.I tried to call customer service store /pick up to let them know my son was coming to pick up my order because the app wouldn't let me change pick up person . The starbucks employees didn't know what they were doing and were very unprofessional. They were charging for stuff but acted like they didn't know what they added to the drinks. The service was a joke. read more

There are ample registers and nobody working them every time I am here. Self checkout is closed. This place is a disgrace.

Every time I go to this location, there are boxes and skids of boxes piled up in the middle of the isles. It's a safety hazard. I took pictures of an unmanned dolly and forklift just left out in the grocery section. It was midafternoon! There are always big boxes piled up, blocking the isles so that you can't get down them or skids of boxes that you have to try and maneuver around. It's like this all over the store. This is a constant occurrence at this particular location. This store is a accident or safety lawsuit in the making. read more

Normally this target is clean but after a visit on Sunday I am extremely disappointed. The bathrooms were an absolute disaster, toilet paper everywhere, toilets not flushed, and other disgusting problems. I could not find a target employee to report this to so I just left. I happen to think that this Target is better than the one down the road next to Bed, Bath, and Beyond. The lines here were much, much, much shorter. I spent a decent chunk of time wandering the various mall stores for a particular type of shirt, which I couldn't find. This is a two-level, gigantic place to shop at the end of the sprawling shopping center in Springfield. Walking distance to the Media Trolley, plenty of parking, and with a superb selection of electronics and house necessities. And a large frozen food selection. My only recommendation is not to go during the hours immediately preceding rush hour as the soccer moms are there in masse looking for dinner items and the result is inordinately long lines at the checkout lines. I've thought about leaving a review for this Target for a long time, but after today I can no longer put it off. Today I went here with an 8-item shopping list and went 0-for-8. My list was made up of common grocery items (milk, Eggo waffles, etc) that Target carries, but this store was OUT. OF. EACH. ONE. The shelves looked picked over like you'd expect to see after calls for a major winter storm. It was 1:00 PM on a sunny Friday. And this is hardly the first time I've encountered this problem, though admittedly I've never before been entirely shut out. Walking the aisles of this store is like being trapped in Monty Python's "Cheese Shop" sketch. Maybe one day I'll figure out what day of the month this Target gets restocked and visit on that day. Rating: 1 star because Yelp makes you give 1 star; half star because this is the closest Target to me (location, location, location!); another half star because there have never, as far as I know, been any wild animal attacks here. read more

I've been going to this target my entire life. Over the last 5 or so years it has become such a nasty target to shop for clothing at. The fitting rooms are always a mess, even right when target opens. The undies/bra section is an absolute zoo. Underwear on the floor, bras disorganized. Target has color coded sizes on their hangers but the hangers almost never match the actual size of the clothes. The shoe section may as well not exist, it is so chaotic. They're somehow always sold out of almost every pair of stockings. I just get the vibe there's not even someone managing the clothing section of the store. I never have an issue with other sections of the store but I typically go to target for clothes. read more

Target just does it better. I've never understood how the people in Minnesota keep the business going so well. They have good deals, products that rarely fall apart, food that rocks, and almost always, great customer service. It beats Macy's and Walmart on every level. This store appeared to be a Super Target, split into two stories. The cart escalator is pure genius, even though they probably didn't come up with the idea. It beats putting an elevator into the store and waiting for people to exit and enter. I was looking for a duffle bag that I'd seen at another location and didn't buy, but suddenly, they seem to be gone from all the stores. Plenty of parking at this location...PLENTY! Carts are available from the parking lot entrance OR the mall entrance. Double decker store with escalators, cart escalators and elevators available. Grocery section available at this location including produce! An employee once told me their grocery prices are actually cheaper than the grocery store and most people don't even realize it. The store as a whole is typically clean and well stocked. There are always TONS of employees wandering around the store doing things that are available if needed. On this particular visit, there was a woman that was offering help to customers. I've actually never seen that before. I heard her ask at least 4 people (in addition to myself) if they needed any help finding anything. I thought that was nice. They added a ton of self checkout lanes which is good in a way but I feel like they are trying to eliminate jobs and force everyone to do their own work. I don't always feel like checking myself out. I don't want to feel like I'm being forced to. They definitely need more lanes open that are being run by employees. There's usually one or two and the lines get long and of course there are always annoying people slowing them down. They used to have a lot of rare and awesome lines of greeting cards. They are all gone now which really makes me sad. I love buying cards for people and I could always find good ones here. I would actually laugh out loud in the aisle while looking through them. Hopefully they get some new lines in because the new ones they have aren't worth the drive. I used to come all the way to Target just for their cards because they were worth it. Now they aren't so I might as well run to the drugstore (since they closed all of my Hallmarks). This is a Target problem and nothing to do with this location BUT...the dollar spot has sucked ever since they went from the dollar spot to "Bullseye's Playground." Now almost everything is $3 and the stuff that is $1 isn't as good as it used to be and it's the same crap over and over again. As a teacher, I used to be able to make out like a bandit in this section every time I went to a Target. Now I barely find anything worth getting...or I only see stuff for $3 which I am not willing to spend more than $1 on. It's really a bummer that they switched it. It used to be great. One MAJOR thing that needs work is their bathroom. I don't know about the men's room but the women's room is disgusting every single time I need to use it which is unfortunately more than I would like to admit since I am always stopping here before or after things versus coming directly from home. I DREEEEEAAAAAD having to use it. It always smells horrendous and the sinks are always gross and have hair in them. They really need to be cleaned and checked on more frequently. The one good thing is the door doesn't have a handle so when I am finished washing my hands I can just kick the door open, run out and finally stop holding my breath!!! read more

I also stopped at this Target and again could not find the item in question. I was able to find a Target Team Member here who made honest effort to help me locate the item the website saId was in stock but was nowhere to be found. She tried to locate the person who works that area on the walkie but they did not respond but she persevered. Unfortunately we were not successful but this young lady did her best. read more

I prefer this Target to the older one down the street. A surprisingly good selection of frozen food including vegan and vegetarian. Always crowded but checkout lines move fast. Not quite as good as a Super Target but still good. read more

5/25/19 1:30pm. There was a white guy with glasses who was very rude and did racial profiling me. I picked up my order and leaving the store and even though I passed the alarm system without a beep he stopped me and asked for my receipt. I asked him "why? There was no beep?" It didnt matter to him and he still insisted. I showed it to him and he didn't even apologize for accusing me as a thief. I am pretty upset. read more

Customer Service & Manager = DUMB AS DIRT Purchased vacuum $168.00 using Target Charge Paid bill when it came in: $168.00 Balance = ZERO Returned vacuum received $168.00 credit which now translates that TARGET owes ME $168.00 which is displayed on bill as the BALANCE being either (168.00) or -168.00. Not one person in the store got this! I thought maybe I was talking in tongues because I was getting some strange looks. ALL STORES normally and without even asking, send you a check if you carry a negative balance for more than 30days. The manager assured me that would NEVER happen and that would stay a negative balance until I use it and if I never use my charge again then that's too bad. GO FIGURE! read more

This is now our go-to Tar-Jay, however over the last 4 years it has gotten dirtier, less organized and the staff just generally seem disinterested. (Checkers) In general we find what we need here - but we do not get many groceries here. The shoe department is a HOT mess. The cosmetics department is fine - in fact sometimes better deal on the same stuff at Ulta. (next door there is an Ulta that my 11 year old girlie-girl just LOVES). This is an okay Target. It's a pretty big store attached to the Springfield Mall... Apparently their shopping carts have wheels that lock up if you try to bring the carts into the mall. We found the big warning sign over the door kinda funny and really wanted to test it out to see if it works. LOL. Seriously though, they had precisely two lines open today out of at least 10 lines. Reminded me of Walmart. Pretty much every line is always open at the Target in Glen Mills, so it seemed kinda weird. Another strange thing about this location is that you get in one side of the elevator, but you exit out the other side - so basically when the door opens, everyone is standing there with their backs to the door. My trip to the Springfield Mall target was absolutely unacceptable. I encountered 5 associates who were incredibly rude and dismissive. Their demeanor reflected that of someone being bothered or agitated by my question or issue. I'm used to and accept a one off or fluke when it comes to a lack of basic customer service skills, however every single encounter was horrible and moves me to believe that this is indeed the culture of this Target. I won't be going back or telling any friends or family any favorable things about that place. People (like me) shop at target for the value of the experience, because let's face it there are plenty of other places you can go to get the items sold there at a discounted price. So to experience zero customer service, not have any of my needs met all while spending over $100 in this establishment completely sealed the deal for me. read more

If you want a cheap department store that has a little bit of everything, I am a pretty big fan of the Target chain of stores as it is. In my opinion they are better than all of their competitors. This store is one of the biggest target stores I've ever been to. For that reason it has a little bit more of everything you might want. I think the placement of goodswas a little awkward, and I had a little bit of trouble finding what I wanted. But otherwise it was your typical target store, and a pretty good one to boot. read more

Kind of ghetto, with lots of soccer/stay-at-home moms thrown into the mix. There are lots of screaming small children of said moms who carry on because they are spoiled and for once are being denied something they want. Be prepared to watch security chase thieves throughout the store, and please keep an eye on your valuables while you're there. I've heard of shoppers having pocketbooks and wallets stolen while shopping. The ladies' room leaves something to be desired. It's out of toilet paper half the time (thank God I always carry tissues in my handbag!) and persistently reeks of excrement and menstruation. I can't speak for the men's room, but I'm sure it's equally abysmal. I love shopping at Target because I'm a big fan of one-stop shopping, but I avoid this one whenever possible. The one farther down the road in Concordville is a step up, so I go there when I can. But because of geography (I live ten minutes away), I'm at this location a lot. This is my most favorite Target around. They are usually very clean and well stocked. It may be 2 floors, but it is worth a ride on the escalator to get all of your needs and none needs that Target convinces you to buy. Don't buy their cafe food though. I am here constantly since this Target is a few miles from my office. The store is clean and well stocked typically. I love the grocery section, can get fresh veggies and other staples in a pinch. Also, on any given day I am wearing at least one item of clothing from this store (and get tons of compliments on most of them.) My only concern is the ridiculously long lines that seem to form out of nowhere. Appears to be full of people on lunch break (like me) and harried moms with bunches of kids, all converging on two cashiers. They never seem to be able to accommodate. Sadly, I have to abort my shopping mission about 50% of the time due to the lines. read more

The Target in the mall is a little better than the one down the road, next to the Bed, Bath & Beyond. But not by much. Employees in both are not friendly, but I think they may be overworked and underpaid. But both of these locations are always so dirty. Starting with the parking lot, the sidewalk up to the front door, and the area at the front door, there is trash all over. Trash cans at the front overflowing ALL THE TIME. 30 minutes down the pike to Concordville is TOTALLY the opposite. Employees are actually friendly and there's no overflowing trash cans and no parking lot with trash all over. Target is all about appearances but they need to realize that appearances start from the outside, so if you wanna tout yourself as a trendy store, at least make sure you don't look like a landfill on the outside! read more

This review is for the newish Target at the Springfield Mall, not the older store at 857 Baltimore Pike. I have had 2 recent lousy experiences with this store. A couple of days ago I stopped in to pick up some cleaning supplies - I had about 20 minutes before I had to be at an event at my daughters school and I was driving right past on Baltimore Pike. I found what I needed and waited in line. The cashier had an a question about the coupon that I had - he called over someone else when in turn called a manager - it took at least 5 minutes for the manager to show and she left without fully answering the question - on of the items that I had was a cleaner starter pack and that was how it was listed on the shelf label, but not on the bottle. My coupon was for a free refill, but the 2nd cashier would not allow it since the bottle did not say starter kit - I left and walked into school just as the event started. The next day I used the exact same coupon at the Concordville store with no issue. Tonight we met some friends at the Springfield Mall for dinner at Carrabba's and needed to buy a pair of flip-flops for my daughter after dinner. We walked down to Target about 15 minutes before they closed. While walking to pay 2 of the 4 cashiers turned off their lights and left. The line that I was in had a woman paying with some sort of government assistance card and there was an issue with some potato chips she had - not a problem, but the cashier spent a few minutes trying to figure it out before calling over the manager. The manager then spent about 5 minutes figuring it all out - all the while the 2 checkout lines had swelled to about 15 deep. When my wife asked if she could get someone to open another line she was pretty rude and completely unapologetic. So - 2 pretty lousy experiences in 2 trips. Word of caution....the prices at this Target (Springfield Mall) are often HIGHER than the prices at the Target right down the street. Just a few days ago I got a curtain rod down the street on clearance for $7. I needed another one so I immediately drove to this mall location. Imagine my surprise to find that same rod was full price - $32!! And to make it worse, I went to guest services with the receipt from the other store and asked for a price match, which they refused. I didn't realize that a large National chain would have different prices, especially at stores that are about a mile away from each other. I hate that now I feel like I have to visit both stores just to make sure I'm not getting ripped off!! read more

TERRRRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE from the Customer Service Department named Mary who stated she was the Manager. I brought a used Spider Man game for a PS3 as a gift for a 8yr old on his bday. When he unwrapped the game and opened it, there was no DISC!!!!!! I called this location and first spoke with a man from the Electronics Department which was no help because the Rep. kept asking me where the disc was even though I had already explained that the problem was that the disc was MISSING!! After asking to speak to a manager, I was transferred to a Mary in Customer Service (not sure why she is in Customer Service w/ the attitude that she has) who told me that she was not going to discuss the issue over the phone and that I had 30 days from the date of purchase to come in person and she will quote "SEE WHAT SHE CAN DO" and that she was not making any promises because I didn't have the DISC. When I asked her for her name as a reference when I come up there, she than spelled it with an attitude as if I was wasting her time. She obviously HATES her job which she should probably QUIT. Now because Target refuses to help me (the Consumer) who purchased a product that I did not receive. I will now be contacting my Credit Card Company to do a charge back and get my refund that way. THIS IS THE WORST TARGET I HAVE EVERRRR BEEN TO AND WILL NEVER GO AGAIN!! This is kind of service is expected at Walmart which would probably be a better fit for Mary. read more

Shame on this store for not keeping its inventory up-to-date! Last time I visited, the ladies restroom was DISGUSTING. I went ahead and asked for a manager at the customer service desk (I was that person - I felt like I automatically grew a Kate Gosselin hair cut). Why does alerting the staff about something completely reasonable seem to personally offend them? It's literally their job to keep the store tidy; in every aspect. Manager took forever to come to the customer service desk and then her and the employee at the desk gave me a look. Seriously, stop that. There was a piece of poop on the floor, so...I don't know. Maybe go in there and check throughout the day and wipe things down a bit? Doesn't seem that hard. Also, one of the freezers in the food section was leaking. DO YOUR JOBS!!! read more

I end up going to this Target pretty frequently and always walk out with more than I intended to buy. The store is clean and has a good selection of items. I love the pharmacy there. The staff is extremely helpful and one of the reasons I continue to go back. read more
