This Target location is usually pretty great. Well stocked, nice employees, and they have a Starbucks! Just be wary of back to school time because it gets completely bought out by UVA students and Charlottesville students alike. It's a busy time for them here so do some shopping at your local targets before you get here!

Used pants put next to the new ones. The "sold as is" sticker was hidden inside to deceive people.

Ive been going to this target for a very long time. Recently going things have seemed really unorganized. A lot of the clothings sizes don't match the label on the hangers. I had to search he clothing section to find where some stuff really was because they would be strewn about. One of my biggest issues I've had recently was they hung up these used pair of leggings next to the brand new ones. The "sold as is" sticker was inside the pants. This felt super deceiving as many wouldn't even see this. I almost bought these and realized they were on sale because it had major pilling. These pants had to have been worn for months and then returned. Not only was it inside the legs- it was also around the waistband. These should have been thrown out, and for a place like target to think reselling heavily used pants for $15 is crazy to me. For only $5 off you can get leggings in worse condition than at goodwill! The workers are nice but they rely on self checkout instead of actual registers. The lines get super long. The store is full of stockers but not cashiers.

We just went to Target at this location to find a few things for our son's apartment at UVA and found everything and more.

I only noticed one or two storefronts "in transition" and that's unusual these days. Charlottesville Fashion Square is the town shopping mall. Shaped like a large plus sign with the anchors at the main four points. JC Penney, Belk (times two) and Sears. The mall is on one level and is surrounded by parking. Most of the entrances will be through one of those anchor stores and there are three others that are not. There is also a spot in the back for local bus service. Other than being very well populated, the mall is in good condition with good lighting, smooth floors and lots of spots in the middle to sit and wait for your wife to buy her stuff.

There are still a few vacant storefronts which always feels a bit sad, but at least one or two of them have signs that something is coming soon. There is a decent selection of restaurants, though I've never eaten at any of them. I do usually prefer an actual food court, to keep the food and eating folks separate from the clothing shops, maybe just because that's what I'm used to, but it feels weird to have all the tables with people eating right outside other kinds of shops. I think Fashion Square just isn't big enough to have a full designated food court area. Otherwise the main mall areas, bathrooms and stores all seem clean and well-kept. I have only visited the mall maybe 3 or 4 times, and usually for one or two specific shops, but it's always a kinda fun blast from the past to wander around a mall for a bit of time.

Although I looked over the dresser, opened the drawers, etc., I did not move all the lamps and many assorted knick knacks. I then paid for the dresser and made arrangements to pick it up the following day. When I returned to pick it up, there was a VERY LARGE split in the wood, ALL the way across the entire top of the dresser and way too wide to repair by any method. This major damage had been covered by the runner, the lamps and the knick knacks. So . . . Usually, normally, sellers will be transparent about damage, flaws, chips, cracks etc., and then it's up to the buyer to move forward with the purchase or not. Because the damage was so extensive, I did not think the dresser could be transported without breaking completely in two. Because the damage was hidden/concealed, I felt deceived. I pointed this out to the staff, who launched into their "no refunds" spiel before I could even finish my sentence. I was rather abruptly offered to the "opportunity" to leave the dresser (and my $400) behind if I no longer wanted it. Still, I extend Kudos to Twice Is Nice for serving seniors in need!! Thank you to the volunteers who offer their time. Thank you to the folks who donate. If an item is damaged, you don't have to attach flashing lights or a neon sign, but it's not "nice" to cover it up, then pile it high with multiple heavy items making the damage almost impossible to detect until too late to make an informed purchase decision.

Wonderful finds in excellent condition! I always spend too much, but come home with great things!…read more If you make it to Charlottesville, I highly recommend this place look out because Twice is Nice has two stores in the same general vicinity.
