Fence line marked inside my property on the wrong side of the property. Came back a second time because I pointed out that the septic tank was marked on the wrong place on the survey and they marked it again on the same place. I'm having someone come mark my fence line where it's inside my property in the right place because if I use their survey I'd be moving my fence 5 feet inside one neighbors property and 5 feet more than what it's already is inside my property. Called for help with some coordinates and they wanted to charge us to provide something they should had at the original survey. read more

Used this company many times over the years. I don't know what's happened, but they're one of the worst of the worst now. Everything is done on-line or via email, with no follow-through. The few times you can actually reach someone, they promise immediately resolution and as days pass, nothing is corrected. Hire another firm for your survey is an important legal document. read more

Target Surveying took an order to survey 2 lots on 2/18/20, Today is 3/17/20. They advertise 3 day turn around time on surveys. What I recieved was a copy of the county plot with a blue line outlining my lots. Since I am a building contractor, I tried to call, no one answered the phone. I tried the phone again, the only way I have been able to communicate is by email. No One is returning my emails and no one has been sent to survey the building lots. Builders and owners BEWARE!!! This may be a internet scam. The price is fair for a survey but it is entrirely too high for what this company does. As of the time of this review we still had no survey stakes with lot and block identification so we can clear the proper lot. After checking with BBB I have found this is a common problem for this company. read more

Do not use, this company - extremely poor service. They are happy to take your money super friendly upfront but after you pay they are very unresponsive. Needed a survey to finalize my financing and they missed all the dates. They had ample time to get everything done, missed the first due date as they forgot to schedule it, which was the first red flag. Also billed me for services not performed. Very disappointed as they came highly referred. read more

Do not use this company, not only is their survey inaccurate They have on numerous occasions promised a work order to have someone come out and complete the survey and it never happens .i have been in contact with them for close to a year now and get the same run around every single time . They are so predictable with their responses that I can tell them what their come backs are going to be . You always get told a work order has been made , it will take appx 2 weeks and you'll get a call 24 hours prior to them coming to the property to resurvey and make the boundaries. I am a Lakeland Florida Realtor and used the Target Surveying company because that is who the title company picked. They delivered the survey as promised on the due date on the agreed upon price. Over a year later the customer lost the original survey so we needed a replacement. This company has a very positive and helpful attitude and emailed the customer within an hour a copy of her survey. I used this survey company when I purchased my house 3 years ago. I was building a fence, and according to the survey one of the fence lines was places within my property. When the new fence was built, it turned out the fence was on my neighbor's property and I was not responsible for it. I lost $1,000 when I was negotiating the fence contract with my neighbor because of using wrong information on the survey. This company has provided wrong information on my survey. read more

Horrible!!! Horrible!!! Won't let me put 0 stars. Target surveying Won't except they're resistibility for their mistake. They marked my property wrong and i paid to have 6 12foot palms planted, going off the flags They placed. 8 months later i find out it was wrong they never found the rods and now they won't take responsibility for that. They came back to resurvey and Oh Look we found the rods. Jennifer tried to help but her boss was a terrible, horrible man, basically made me feel like i was a stupid human being, told me i should have remeasured myself before planting. Mind you I've had 4 back surgeries and I'M DISABLED. Why would i pay y'all if i need to measure myself. Aren't y'all the suppose to be professionals. I suggest y'all grab a shovel and dig where your property line was marked by them and look for the iron rods underground that mark your property. Don't trust them. Don't waste your money. All i want is that they take responsibility for the mistake and pay for my palms to be moved where they should be. Don't understand how they could have 4 stars. read more

My builder ordered a "rush" survey to be done by Target Surveying. They promised a 2 day turn around. After 3 weeks they finally came out. They did not mark anything with flags or stakes to show they were here. That was on a Wednesday and on Friday an email was sent stating they had the wrong legal description and did not mark everything they needed to on the survey. They would be sending a team back out. It is now Monday evening and I have heard nothing. It has now been a month and I have to have this survey to close. They used a deed from 1974 to get the incorrect information instead of the most recent one. They do not respond to phone calls or emails and I have been forced to go to social media because that is the only way they will respond. Hopefully they will come out and complete the survey but the month plus rush survey is a joke! I would NEVER recommend this company. Oh, don't forget they received their money over a month ago! read more

Avoid this company at all costs. Paid to have a new survey completed on a property we were purchasing. There was an old survey that we were provided but were not sure it was accurate. We paid Target $1800 to do a full new survey and they simply copied the information from the old survey and stuck flags in at the 3 easily accessed corners of the property. We knew this because one of the back corners of the property is very thickly wooded and there was no trail leading to the back corner. I contacted them and they lied saying that they cut a trail and found the property marker. I sent in pictures showing there was no trail cut from the other corner as they said there was, and offered them an opportunity to come show me the trail/marker. They refused, and now I am forced to take them to court to recoup my money. Do not do business with them. After talking to several other survey companies in the area they have a reputation for doing things like this and holding up closings etc. Please don't make the same mistake I did and trust these thieves. read more

I need to warn anyone about Target Surverying we contracted them to survey our property and asked for them to come out to do a more detailed survey. after 10 days with no notice of when they will be out we reached out to them for a timeline as to when we could expect them as we were told about 2 weeks, we did not get a response after 2 days we reached out again and after another day we finally received a response that they would contact the supervisor as they are usually done in 2 weeks and she realized that 2 weeks had past and that we would be getting a call back. when we did not receive that call called again and was told that someone would be out either yesterday or today. After more than 3 weeks and a promise that the surgery would be done in 2 weeks, I still do not have my survey and when I call today and after being on hold for over 10 mins twice and disconnected I was told that they would try to be out by Friday which is almost 4 weeks after my 1st request and double the time that I was told that it would take. anyone looking for a survey beware as their customer service sucks, they do not return phone calls or emails and give empty promises. read more
