Do not bother to go to Target for a Black Friday deal on a Cell Phone. Went there at 8:30am on Friday. When we got to the cell phone department they said there was a line and that they had a list of over 50 people already but did not offer to put us on the list.They could not say how many iPhones they had in stock or whether there was a possibility if we stood in line we would get a phone. Got in line, after an hour and a half only 2 people had gotten a new phone. One lady in line said she had been put on a list from the night before. The sales/tech people couldn't tell us if we should be on a list or just stand in line. They did say that they were calling people on "the List" to come an get their phone but if the didn't show up and there was nobody else from the list in line then the would take the people in the line that were not on the list. They don't seem to have a workable system to take care of demand. After 2 hours we left without a phone or being put on "the List". And still they said they had no idea how many phones they have in stock. Really! Not a good time. read more

I am also very sad to say I'm very disappointed with my visit to the Upland, Ca store today. I shop there weekly and with coupons. I by no means get my purchase for free but I do use manufacturer, target Internet and mobile coupons. Their policy states you can use one store and one manufacturer coupon per item with a limit of 4 identical coupons. So they did not want to allow more than one coupon of each kind. I said fine but that's not the policy. My cashier called over the MOD and they agreed. I said fine. I'll return whatever I need to so they could finish the transaction. At this point the cashier was sighing and the customer behind me. I finish the transaction without argument. I put my purchase in my car. I sort out 8 items I really didn't need and wasn't allowed to use a coupon on. I go to guest services and they tell me they can't return items that were purchased with a coupon. Only 6 of the 8 were. She had to go to the register to get the coupon which I don't even see applied on my purchased. The security guard is standing guard meanwhile as if I am going to cause a scene. They return the six items and only give me a giftcard even though I used my Target debit card. I'm so unhappy with my trip. I go there once a week and spend a lot and most without coupons. I guess they have gotten too big that their "guests" are not longer important and can make up their rules as they go. read more

Tonight I spent about an hour of my life talking to a guy named Wrangler for customer service for Target. We received two wrong orders. First we ordered a pajama set for my daughter and what we received was a woman's medium dress. The second wrong item was briefs that were different from the website. I called customer service and he was very hard to understand. He asked for all the information and told me that they would expedite shipping 2 to 3 days. That's not expedited shipping. Also, I would have to pack up and return the incorrect item. Why should I have to return something that they messed up on. As for the second item they said that we could keep the item and they would send a replacement item. That part was fine. They also said that the item would be expedited 2 to 3 days. They also offers no compensation or ease of getting our items to us quickly. It just seems like it wasn't customer service to try to rectify a very bad situation. By the way, the items in question were for my daughter for her birthday. It just seems that Target is trying to be like Amazon but with customer service like this, they might fade in to the mists of failed department stores read more

I love this target; its so close to home and other great stores. I love their $1 or $3 spot; I always have to get something from that section! They have so many cute stuff for my little one. My son loves going to target and he's only 3. Only thing I don't like is that they always run out of my sons size in shoes; its so hard to find shoes for him here, other than that I love target!! I went into Target Upland tonight and the toilet paper was on sale, buy one get one 50% off. Well, Upland was completely out, the section was empty. Mary in that department obviously does not care for her job because when I asked her if I could get a rain check her reply was, "I know nothing about how anything in here works". I said really, "You have a Target name tag on". And she replied that she was only seasonal and I would have to go to guest services and ask. Well guest services was not any more helpful and said no rainchecks, but here's a list of other Targets you can call to find out if they have the item that you need. I then called Rancho Cucamonga Target and Abigail so kindly told me that they had plenty of stock. While at the Rancho Cucamonga Target I needed help and an employee, Taylor was very helpful and kind. Really Upland Target, your customer service needs improvement. read more

If I could rate zero stars I would. Poor customer service and the manager we spoke with was a even poorer excuse for a manager. I was so irritated with how they treated my mom, yes the experience had little to nothing to do with me, that I Called customer service and cancelled my account with them. I'm a huge fan of this target pretty close to me and this location has everything I need and one stop shop.. Also if you download the Cartwheel app you can get coupons that you can use with the target coupons and of course the manufacturer coupons excellent deal combine all three save more if you have a target card to save 5% which makes it four coupons in general read more

This review is strictly for the woman's bathroom. Extremely disgusting! I'm in this Target at least once a week and I cringe every time my daughter tells me she needs to go the bathroom. This target sucks. Don't bother calling to see if they have things in stock, because in less you're waiting out in front of the store you will not get one if it's a limited availability. Even though when you called to ask if things are in stock they say yes you just have to be one of the first ones in the store. They never mentioned a ticketing system. If I would've known that you needed a ticket I would've got out of my car and waited out front to 40 minutes I was here early. And the manager Lauren all she could say was it changes every day. So you need to come in and wait. How in the world am I supposed to know this when the four times I call that morning they never bothered to mention it. I always shop at this Target for pretty much everything. I'm there at least twice a week. Last night I went with my 4yo daughter. We accidentally left her "Oma Dolly" in the cart when we left around 8:30pm. My daughter realized that Oma Dolly was gone, and we hopped in the car around 11:30pm to go see if we could find her. I knew the store was closed, but I wanted to make my daughter happy. We ran into an employee leaving the store and told him about her doll. He went back inside, looked for her doll, and came back empty handed. He said to call back at 8 am. Instead, I went back at 8:15 this morning, checked with guest services to see if Oma Dolly was there, and sure enough! Someone had grabbed her out of the cart and saved her. Thank you to the employees at Target Upland. I have a very happy 4 year old at home :). read more

I LOVE this target. It's the best Target in the surrounding areas. I shop here weekly from groceries to household supplies clothing athletic gear outdoor gear. Everything. Recently I forgot to use my cartwheel on larger purchase so I returned to the store and Danielle and Morgan helped me get my situation all taken care of. Something went wrong with my transaction and as a customer feeling like there was nothing I could do, they went over the top and out of their way to make sure that my issues were solved. I can't thank the both of them enough ! Danielle and Morgan are SOO sweet every time I've shopped there and see them working they both are always smiling , super positive and eager to help any customer ! Especially in the front end of the store I feel they carry such a positive presence! Also the management staff are on point ! Seriously by far best target from STAFF and the STOCKED SHELVES! This Pharmacy is the worst. They lie about availability, A 15 minute wait on hold is not uncommon. They don't call when prescriptions come in. My doctor called in a prescription. The pharmacy called me and said it was on order and would be in the following week. I called in a week to see if was in. The pharmacist said it had to be ordered and would be in the following week. I told them I was out of my prescription, so he called other pharmacies to locate one that had it in stock. Eureka, he found one! I had errands to run and got to the other pharmacy at about 7:30 PM. They never received the prescription fax, but "thought" they could have it by closing at 9PM. I went ballistic. Somehow they were able to get the prescription filled within 10 minutes. Kudos to the CVS on Foothill that got the prescription to me, big, nasty, rotten apples to Target's pharmacy. read more

Classic bait and switch at Upland Target today. Went in to purchase a Cosco card table for $29. Checked online first to verify that it was in stock. When I arrived, they are trying to pass off an off brand piece of junk as the Cosco table at the same price. I know this is intentional because the table had the same Target product number as the Cosco table shown online. Due to this and other problems with Target recently I have decided to be an ex-customer of theirs. Honesty matters. read more

The employee, Alexandra is the most rudest employee in target. She has blonde hair in case for the description. Today My friend was trying on leggings in the fitting room and we had a couple people in the fitting. She told us only one person per fitting room and we get that it's the rule. So we were just waiting for our friend to put her pants on before leaving the room because she was basically naked bottom down. Alexandra starts yelling and repeating that only one person per fitting room and we say that our friend is putting on her pants can u give us a minute. And keep in mind she had a very rude tone the whole time . Then we all get out and my friend starts cleaning up the clothes she had tried on and was planning to give it to Alexandra after so we don't leave a mess. Then Alexandra came so close to my face and said "oh and you guys can clean that up and give It to me.... please" she was so rude saying this. All I said was ok . Then she starts making these noises like she is trying to rush us. And she started tisking at us like "tisk tisk" i know It sounds weird but she was making those noises and it was really rude. Then we hand her the clothes and she says nothing. No thank you no nothing. This honestly made my night along with my friends horrible. read more

Wow never going here again to return anything! Last time I was here and tried to exchange an item I drop the item I was exchanging at the customer service desk then get the item I wanted to exchange it. I started doing it like I always do returns, but Nancy the service rep tried to give me a refund, I told her no I didn't want a refund all I wanted a was an exchange. She said I had to get the item I wanted to exchange it for and then get back in line that I had stood in for 15 mins already. So I stood in line another 10min with the exchanged item. The person she had just helped she told she could just skip the line when she found the exchange item. I asked Nancy why did I have to stand in line again and she didn't to exchange something, I got a roll of the eyes and told next time I know just to get the item first and just stand in the line once. I told her she didn't answear my question of why I couldn't go to the front like the other exchange (we both had small items) she just rolled her eyes again and asked to help the next guest. She's an awful return rep, and needs to learn consistency with how she interacts with customers. read more

I was here with my mom and yes, we come here regularly. We appreciate the cleanliness and it's closest to us, very convenient! The manager my mom is speaking about below (blonde, average height, homely looking, thick) just seems miserable, never smiles at customers only other associates. I hope she's pleasant to work with. I do want to clarify even though corporate took more than 20 min to resolve the issue I was very satisfied! He did his do diligence in finding if they were in the right or wrong. Corporate told me they usually stand behind the store when it comes to coupons, but not if a manager just doesn't like the coupon or the excellent savings you're getting which was the issue in my case. The manager that corporate spoke with lied about what happened which was annoying, corporate asked me to go back in and show Jose (a different manager) my coupon. He then said, I will only accept 1 because in fine print it reads, (1) per purchase. I know I didn't have to nor is it my job to explain if I buy (4) items that's (4) purchases which means (4) coupons, but associates get confused with this often. I then was allowed to buy (4). It was to say the least embarrassing, Jose felt the need to speak loudly and explain what coupon fraud is and how people refund all merchandise paid with coupons to get money back and if I do that, it is what it is, but that's why their policy is changing. I wasn't offended until I thought wait, does he think I do that? Why did he feel the need to say that? The FUNNY thing is I didn't want to go back to customer service and wait in line so I went to the self checkout and it took my coupons with NO hassle, NO attitude, & NO judgement! I shop with my mom all the time I have a family of (5) so I coupon to save money not to make money!!! I have litterally no idea how a store that declares war on it's customers garners glowing reviews? Have not shopped here in over a year, even when convenience dictates I could. The negative reviews reflect the same treatment I suffered. The attitude the employees convey speaks "the customer is the enemy". I have heard my negative comments repeated over and over again from friends even tho they are not expressed on Yelp. My friends are so angry with the abuse, they don't want to spend the time warning others on this forum. Shop here at your own risk! The employees, and corporate don't appreciate you or your hard earned dollars. Not just my opinion, Target sucks and they have really earned that reputation. It's employees take pride in telling you to go pound salt! Not the kind of store we need in our city.
