All of these things led to a replacement. Steinhafels told me the replacement was "being offered as a courtesy and would be the only option available given how long the product has already been in the home." The company feels that they are providing a courtesy when replacing a defective product well within the warranty period. A company which feels it is doing you a favor by standing behind a warranty is not one I choose to do business with.

If an item is priced, it is more in the realm of retail and if the item was in better condition. 50% of the main store and 95% of the rummage room they open occasionally as an 'estate sale' is not priced. To get a price, you must take a photo and bring it to the cashier to get a call placed to a mystery man who may or may not call back while you are there with a price. A great business model would be to place a sticker with the price on your inventory as it enters the building.

After a little back and forth (with a ton of attitude from her) she just walks away. How unprofessional. She continues to stand nearby glaring at us and throwing comments our way. We asked her nicely to step away from us while we were speaking with another manager and she refused. THEN SHE THREATENED TO FIGHT US IN THE PARKING LOT!!!
