This store is always a mess. I've known a few of the older people who've worked here, and the all say that the management makes it a terrible experience, which in turn creates a store environment that is unhelpful for customers. With all the money that the community spends in this store, the least the could be done is to make the store experience something more than exasperating. I understand that many people rely on target for the price and con of location, but I'd urge people to support other businesses if they are able. It may lack the convenience, but I don't want to reward a culture that dismisses customers as unimportant. read more

This particular Target store seems to be a bit mis-managed. As we walked around the store to look for the Christmas section we saw many items with no price tags, stuff in the wrong places and an overall feel of "not being neat" as other Targets. I always like to check out different stores in different cities and areas, so this was an OK shopping experience, but I have been to better Targets in the past. I have never been in a target that was in such disarray. You couldn't even get your cart down some aisles due to the amount of products that were just strewn around. I had hoped to try on a couple of items in one of the 3 fitting rooms however they were all closed with carts racks and piles full of clothes that needed to be put back where they go. I absolutely love target I am a huge fanatic but this has by far been the dirtiest Target I've ever seen. So many things did not have a price tag and things were thrown on the floor. OK, I admit this wasn't one of my brightest moves. Shopping the last weekend before Christmas. Unfortunately we needed a top for Ms O to where to the Christmas Concert at school. Perhaps I should have let Mrs B go by herself tomorrow. Store was a disaster area. It looked like it had been hit by a tornado. There was one employee with his hand held computer helping customers but otherwise there was no one with a red vest to be found anywhere but at the front checkout where only about half the registers were open causing long lines of not so happy customers. Not sure if that was poor scheduling by the manager or just poor planning in not hiring enough bodies for the holiday season. This store is an absolute nightmare. I have never seen such a mess. It's disgusting and a lack of concern for the Customers is just downright disrespectful. They might as well close it down because of the deplorable conditions there. This Target is on-point. It's extremely well organized considering the volume of customers filtering in and out of here each day. The place is huge, offering options for things you didn't even know you needed until you started shopping here. The staff are helpful and friendly, if you can find them. The prices are what we all come here for, paired with a decent quality of all items for sale. This Target hits its mark on what it's designed to do. read more

Avid hot wheels collector and this place used to have a great selection. Without exaggeration, they haven't restocked their hot wheels selection in almost TWO MONTHS. The refrigerated section smells SO bad (like cow manure or something rotting). It has been this way for at least a year now. There are always a ton of inventory carts sitting out blocking the aisles, even on the weekend. The staff are nice but this location is unlike other Targets in terms of cleanliness and organization. read more

Poor customer service by the service department on price adjustment when the item is misleadingly marked. Over $2.00 the man showed poor management skills and customer service! He was arrogant and dismissive to my elderly mother. As a manager myself for a high end denim company in Boston, this behavior was disgusting. read more

From Starbucks to Customer Service desk I've bad customer service experience. Recently with a price match. There's a lady in particular that's the rudest (will catch her name next time). I had a toy to price match walmart, they told me they couldn't price match because the system was not finding it bla bla bla, i showed the walmart site it was the same toy. I drove to the Smithfield store, boom price matched no problem. The Lincoln store is my local store but I honestly end up in Smithfield a lot more because they have better customer service. read more

Target, or "Target" by some upper class clearly well versed in bad french, is your average standard run of the mill department store. Similar to Walmart, but without the overwhelming congregation of the sketchy and awkward people, I make trips as necessary gather supplies vital to my survival and sanity (food, sanitation, etc). While clearly a step above Walmart, keep in mind that this is still a major department store in a major city. You're going to have a few unsavory people no matter what. That said, the client base of this particular location tend not to be too bad, especially given its location. Stock of the store is similar to any other Target, as is the layout. Really not too much more you can say about it (they have soap and toilet paper, I mean, what else do you want?). My qualms with this store are with the staff. On my last visit here, my cashier scanned at an average rate of about 1 item a minute. Maybe he was new, maybe he was just the managers slow nephew, not sure, but it took a good 10 minutes to do what's normally done in 3. Previous visits, while not as bad, still not up to standards. Many of the employes seem to have been hired straight out of high school in the projects, and proceed to act that way. Not looking for an intelligent conversation, but being able to string together more then a handful or words without some slang would be great. One of the worst Target's I've been to. read more

This Target was getting worn down quickly and a dread to go to.. but now they've completely revamped the whole place, all new everything and it's beautiful! However, they continuously leave mounds of new products on the palettes blocking almost every isle. I've often had to leave my cart in an isle two isles down from where I needed a product because the area was just so unreachable. You have to squeeze by these large palettes, luckily I'm tiny and can do so.. Now, I'd 100% understand if someone is actively working on putting it away... but there's not an employee in sight of ANY of these palettes. It's on any given day of the week, at any given time. Just ridiculous and a mess. I love the way they're redoing the place, but it's confusing not knowing where anything is now, and the obstacles make it near impossible to navigate. read more

Good Target as Targets go. The move into a Super Walmart style store has hurt the selection as far as I'm concerned. If you check the end of the rows specials you'll get some great deals. The idea of a Target Run is fading fast. I consistently leave the Worcester location disappointed and dismayed. The recent overhaul of the store's layout has left a disappointing lack of selection and order to the store. The fact that cleaning supplies are now in the midst of personal HBA is just odd and nonsensical. I am dismayed by the utter lack of of cleanliness and safety in the store. It's one thing to navigate the new jumbled layout, but it's unacceptable to have to navigate around piles of stock that are just cluttering aisles and shelves. The Dollar Spot is not even worth stopping at any longer - such an incredible mess, similar to many of the departments and shelves. Back to school gear in the back of the store is a waste of time and effort. Perhaps the store needs much stronger oversight and leadership. read more

Our family comes here all the time. I like the grocery area. I was looking for tennis shoes (black for work), but they didn't have what I was looking for. Prices are a little high (like at all Targets), but the store is very neat and clean. When lines are long, they send help ASAP read more

The black stone valley shoppes have ample parking! It's a great way to spend a sunny afternoon and get those heart healthy steps in

Since the store was upgraded in 2018 it is very difficult and sometimes impossible to access the shelves due to pallets and store maintenance equipment blocking the walkways. Possible safety issue. read more

This location is not one of the best around but the plaza has a lot and is very convenient. Things are more disorganized here but they do a good job keeping it clean. Great sales here though. There's always a better selection of clearance items too. read more

This is our go-to place when we need to pick up a gift or something in a hurry. It's usually pretty clean.. Nothing too special here - it's Target. However, and this is what the 4th star is for - I have to say that the past few times we've gone, Rashida has been our cashier at check-out, and she is so sweet! Always smiling and in a good mood. The location is pretty convenient, it has all the purchasable items a Target should have, and is rather large (the way most Targets are). However, the rudeness of the employees ruins this store. On my first and final visit to this Target I brought a cart full of stuff to the dressing room to try on, and because it's Target had to try things on 6 items at a time. The fitting room attendant was so miserable - complaining loudly to herself about how she didn't want to be there, how she hated this job. At one point she got into an argument with another employee that walked by after asking the other employee to take over her shift so she could leave and having the other employee refuse. This went on for 30+ minutes. Every time I decided I wasn't going to take an article of clothing I would politely ask where I should leave it, only to be barked at about how she "didn't need this." Geez, if you hate your job so much you should find a new one. Nobody is holding you hostage, forcing you to work at Target. At one point I was told I couldn't try on a pair of leggings because the employee didn't want to have to refold and put them away once I didn't want them. I also witnessed her tell other customers that they were out of things that were clearly in stock - assumedly because she didn't want to help the customers find what they were looking for. Experiences like this make me want to stop shopping at target altogether. read more

Before this Target made the transition into selling groceries, it's departmental selections were unquestionably fair to very good quality. I chose to shop here because of the broad selection of products that included design-conscious, stylish, current, good quality items comparable to products sold at high end name brand stores. Lately, however, I have found that I leave this store empty-handed because they just don't have the selection I have come to expect. Today I circled the store with my shopping cart and then walked out disgusted because they no longer carry many products they used to sell. I am very disappointed with their new, more limited selection. It seems that this store has done away with a range of previously stocked items and higher end products in favor of a selling a mediocre selection of groceries. It may be convenient for some shoppers to pick up a few groceries while they shop here, but people do notice the difference. Broadening horizons by sacrificing selection is not worth the expense of an overall unsatisfying shopping experience. Mediocrity is what is wrong with this town and this store has bought into this mentality. read more
