Roast beef in a roll

This place has a hot lunch menu and different specials every day of the week but they make amazing sandwiches I love the roast beef and Swiss with less tomato mayo salt pepper olive oil and vinegar. But I see everyone coming here for amazing sandwiches and ordering food to go for lunch it's always fresh always delicious and a wonderful staff

Pretty much where the Saw Mill River Parkway hits I-87/287, you'll find the fifty year old Tarrytown Deli. It was on our direct route to MetLife Stadium, which made it a convenient stop to pick up sandwiches for the game. What an impressive place! It has just about everything you could possibly want for a meal -custom cooked breakfasts, twenty four kinds of cold and twelve kinds of hot sandwiches, paninis, wraps, over twenty homemade salads, hot lunch specials, bakery goods, soups, chips and snacks, etc. My turkey sub for the game, and a croissant for the car ran $10.74 and I was very happy with both. The croissant was delicious and still warm! The turkey sandwich had a generous portion of super fresh deli turkey and the shredded lettuce, provolone cheese, sliced tomatoes and spicy mustard I asked for turned this into one helluva great lunch. If I lived nearby, I'd be here a lot

Wish I read the reviews before coming here. Basically everything is already premade. This isn't like a deli at all, it's more like a gas station. I asked for a grilled vegetable wrap with no mushrooms and the woman told me, "I'm sorry it is already made and we can't remove any items." Are you kidding me? It's a deli! It was a cold vegetable wrap mostly made of lettuce. Disappointing

I really like this place. I was a little hesitant to try it due to the many negative reviews. I especially love it for the coffee and friendly responsive crew. Only Dominick's further down the street has a coffee that matches here. They also have a pretty good egg and cheese with hash brown sandwich. There's also a sandwich called SEX which I find funny. That's all I've tried so far. Their deli in case offerings tend to look old, but one day this week I went in mid morning and everything was super fresh. I'll need to try their prepared foods soon. Now if you want a bagel, croissants or muffins try someplace else. I initially came here seeking refuge from the similarly awful bagels and coffee and service of Bagel Emporium next door. However no dice on that front. Their old expired dried up stuff is plain awful. They do other things better. A lot of people also say the Korean couple who own the deli and the stationery story next door are rude. That hasn't been my experience at all. In fact I find them professional and very friendly with their regulars. What I've noticed is that in these affluent areas...white privilege is on full display, and if you're not bowing to them they get nasty.

All toppings, hardly any turkey, and no cheese (which they charged me for)... I will NEVER eat here again...

Absolutely amazing Jewish deli! I could eat there every day!!…read more The traditional salads and sandwiches were perfect. Could have been in NYC and it would not have been any better.

This one is not a fun one to write. So my father was having lunch at Liebman's Yonkers on February…read more11th, after my recommendation to go there based on my great experiences with the original location in the Bronx. He and his friend both enjoyed the food (although he made sure to mention that it wasn't nearly as good as Katz's, which I completely agree with). He thought that the restaurant itself was clean and nice enough. But then the fun part happened. He tried to tip 20% on his lunch bill, asking the waiter to round to the total from the $50 check to $60 total The waiter decided that meant adding a $60 TIP to the order and running the credit card at $110 for their lunch. Simple mistake, maybe. We apparently will never know, because Liebman's has never called back after two different attempts to speak with management to rectify the situation. We were told that there was no manager there twice, but assured that we would receive a call back shortly. Nothing, apparently. Is Liebman's an establishment that targets the elderly and figures that they can get away with it because sometimes people don't look at what they're signing. Who knows? Not me, because no-one from Liebman's decided that it was important to return multiple calls to figure that out. So, IF you go to this place, please check your bill and then check it again, because once you leave the restaurant, they seem to have no desire to explain why they charged you a 120% tip (or even attempt to keep you as a customer) Bonus fact: I waited three weeks to post this to give them every chance to do the right thing and have a manager reply.

Mint has been a go to for me for over ten years now. The Belgo-Moroccan owner sets a high standard…read morefor cuisine here and you won't be disappointed by anything you eat here. The pro tip here is to get a pound of the candied pecans to take home with you, they are life affirming. Are you disappointed by the dearth of decent cheese in the United States? Well Mint has a panoply of incredible cheeses from Europe and the charcuterie and cheese plate gives you an almost indecent amount of cured meats and stunning cheeses with freshly toasted baguette and a generous portion of Membrillo for a very reasonable (in today's economy) $29. You might be tempted by the Moroccan Chicken, and you should be, it is delicious but for me they do a really amazing Steak Frites that is cooked to perfection. I ordered mine "à point" or medium rare and it was absolutely as advertised. My husband had the Cuban on gluten free bread and was very happy with it. The ambience of the restaurant is really nice, it is very warm and inviting with cool decoration and big vats of marinated olives and other delicious mezze, or Kamio to be nationally accurate. Check out the cheese selection in my photos, it really is S tier.
