Ok let me tell you our story: -My arborvitaes needed to be propped up. Too much snow that year and they sagged - well some of them -and they helped me prop them up to save them. Rather than selling me more trees in the spring - they helped me save old ones. -Next time: I got them to prune my maple and my magnolias. And they told us listen with your magnolia this is what you want to watch out for and do to help the health of it! and then they said oh that tree you got there is a weed. Well it was a weed tree that we had just let grew. It was cut down and we were so thankful. It was a tiny tree but with it being cut down - it helped our one holly tree and a blue spruce thrive! -We continue that health maintenance they taught us on the magnolia. -And fast forward to now - with the most recent rains - two of our arborvitaes have been uprooted. They came out and helped us stake them up and will come back again to solidify things. but during their time here - they also told us about a bush that was unhealthy and a maple (which we know has to be cut down). and will help treat our little oak tree. I mean I can't speak more about this company they are beyond professional and so knowledgeable about trees and bushes. and they don't push and just ask what do you want us to do. and you can say yes to this or that and it's your choice. but they give you all this knowledge and I think I can't even fathom a company that's better than that.

I finally checked Yelp and found Santos with his good reviews. He came out quickly, gave a fair estimate, said he could do it the next day. He arrived a little late with his truck and small crew but went right to work and did the whole job in just 3 hours. I had expected a lot of chainsaw noise but they did a lot of cutting with handsaws, using the power tools mostly to cut up and grind the wood. Very impressive work and a great personality. I reseeded a few years ago and their seed mix holds up much better then the grass I had before. Their crabgrass prevention fertilizer is just unbelievable. It lasts all summer and all of my surrounding neighbors have crabgrass while my yard is completely free of crabgrass. I do keep some of the crabgrass preventative fertilizer for July / August and reapply to the perimeters and areas that it may start appearing. This is far superior to Scott's or other Home Depot/ Lowe's products. It is also about the same cost or less! This place is also great at giving advice.

Initially, they indicated they could come out on Saturday, July 4, but the estimate was ultimately confirmed for Sunday, July 5, between 11:00 am & 12:00 p.m. I was coordinating the appointment on behalf of a loved one. Because the property owner doesn't live at the affected house, they traveled from another part of the city and rearranged their schedule specifically to meet the estimator. We also learned that the neighboring property we initially believed the tree had fallen from is vacant, making it even more important to determine responsibility and move the process forward. Unfortunately, no one arrived for the scheduled appointment, and there was no phone call, text, or Yelp message to let us know they were running late or needed to reschedule. We understand that delays and emergencies happen, but a simple courtesy message would have been appreciated. The lack of communication wasted people's time and delayed addressing a situation affecting multiple properties. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend a company that confirms an appointment and then fails to show up or communicate with the customer.
