What a fantastic mother's day treat! We came in the afternoon and had about a 30 minute wait but it was so worth it. Everything was absolutely delicious. We had the Tash Tea for two which was a ton of food. We also ordered some other side dishes, a turkish coffee, and a kurdish coffee. Everything was so tasty that we decided to get another round of coffee and a dessert. What a delightful experience and something totally different. Will be back with friends soon!

This is a small but vibey shop offering standard table seating & some floor cubby seating on pillows for a more traditional aesthetic. The food here is exceptional & I would argue it's one of the best breakfast options in the city. If you're dining with 2-4 get 4-5 dishes & share & there will likely be leftovers . Two of my favorites are the beef borek & the gozleme. Service is friendly & attentive. We are very lucky to have a great Kurdish food scene here.

I've been passing this place for months. Scrolling the clock app, I saw a review and it was immediately added to my must try list. I'm an early riser so I went in shortly after open on a Sunday. I'm a sucker for esthetically appealing things... the decor was really cute! Of course I opted for the traditional floor seating. I wanted the full experience . We were immediately seated. The food was delicious. Very flavorful. Since I'm coming back with a group soon, I didn't get the Tash Tea Breakfast spread. I opted to get the Menemen. It was great! It's going to be hard to order anything else the next time I go. VERY Flavorful and served with bread. To drink I had a Matcha Latte and it's hands down one of the best I've had in Nashville. I also ordered a Cuban to go. It was ok. Very strong. As I got to the bottom, it was less strong and really tasty. I. WILL. BE. BACK

A great place to eat when you have out-of-town guests or are in the mood for something different. The owners are available and approachable and willing to share details of their story and of the incredible variety of breakfast food. We sat in the low section to get as authentic an experience as possible. The food was plentiful and we've taken leftovers with us each visit. The service is professional and knowledgeable and definitely unobtrusive. They will talk as much as you want to talk and leave you to yourself when you want. The atmosphere is calming and relaxed. No putting on airs, just have a seat, take your time and enjoy. I think this must be the way meals are taken back home.

Food was good, for sure will be back to try other menu options. The latte was amazing and I was super excited they had pumpkin flavoring.

OMG do NOT sleep on this place!! Me and adult daughter shared the TashTea for 2. It's the best charcuterie of food! And seemed to be just the right amount of small bites to fill us without stuffing us. Sweet, savory, fresh bakery items, fresh fruit, dips, yogurt, olives. All of the above. We were blown away by it. And daughter said best mango matcha she's ever had. We'll be back!

Probably the best meal I had while in Nashville! Absolutely amazing food that fills you up without leaving you feeling too heavy! The tea was great and the staff was attentive without being overbearing. Cannot wait to visit TashTea in the future!

Well damn... it was really hard to eat and be still the food was so darn good! The rose jelly.... my goodness! The tomato/sausage dish and fresh af hummus... lordt help me! But yall..... that brown sauce of grape and sesame something.... lordt! Men.... that brown sauce is a great way to get.... YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN WINK WINK!!! My goodness I was not expecting this AT ALL! Obviously I will be back! I. Wondering at night do the play more trendy Turkish music and loosen up some? Because the food is perfect and the ambiance is beautiful! I could see it being like the cafes in the Netherlands minus the smoke

Single Tashtea breakfast... the rose jam was awesome!

Wow, I wasn't expecting much, this was just a breakfast place I found on Yelp on our way into Nashville, but this deserves a five star rating. First, the staff actually seemed genuinely happy and friendly, not just the fake server niceness you see. Second, everything we ate was delicious- my favorite was the rose jam that came with the Tashtea breakfast, but the fried eggs and sausage plate was also really good. The menemem was great as well, it was like pizza without the crust. It was busy but not obnoxiously so on a busier than usual Sunday morning. We got to sit at a low table on cushions, but they have normal tables as well. I highly recommend this place!

We absolutely loved TashTea! It is an amazing experience and I would recommend that you come hungry and order the TashTea - it comes with so much food and an assortment so you get a little of everything. And don't be afraid to ask questions! The staff is so kind and will answer questions or give recommendations. Everything was delicious and fresh. Can't wait to go back again. I didn't get a photo but we also tried the baklava which was absolutely delicious. This is a cozy little restaurant that is so cute inside with lovely ambiance.

Family Size TashTea for 2 with Menemen

We had the TashTea breakfast for two. My wife had the Kurdish Coffee and I had the Cafe Latte. Everything was amazing and there was sooooo much great food! We also took home the Dubai Chocolate Cheesecake for later. We will be back. Only two small observations: - I kind of wished there had been some tiny spoons or knives. I loved combining the jams with the tahini on the bread but in doing so it was hard not to get the jams mixed into the tahini. My wife didn't mind but I could see in larger groups how that could be awkward. - The bread went so well with everything that I wish the initial amount of bread given was more proportional to the various elements. Didn't mind paying for extra bread but it would have been nice if we hadn't needed to order more. These are really just small nitpicks and, regardless, I would still highly recommend any and everyone eat here!

The most amazing atmosphere! I visited on Thanksgiving Day! I had a real authentic Kurdish Breakfast/ Brunch, and a Turkish coffee, it was amazing! I highly recommend this place! The people were so sweet & kind!

They brought us water and warm flatbread with labneh. It was a great way to start the evening. Our server recommended the lamb dumplings and the chicken kabob. We ordered that plus the Uzbek bread and a lamb sambosa. The sambosa was delicious; flaky dough and minced well spiced lamb. The chicken kabob was delectable; tender, well spiced, and served with sumac onions and other accompaniments. The lamb dumplings (think big manti or momos) were fantastic; again, well spiced lamb and tender dough, served with a really lovely yogurt sauce. Service was fast and friendly. There is a secret however, that few would ever reveal: Nashville has some seriously solid authentic Uzbek food. As the city is home to the largest Kurdish population in America, the foundation of community attracted not only Kurds, but also Uzbeks from larger American cities. Osh is one such outpost for an excellent and authentic meal. Shurpa soup is spectacular with delicate lamb and fatty broth. Manti are ok, although the lamb filling is a bit on the dry side. Somsa is incredible and flaky. Medovik is subpar, synthetic tasting and dry. While not every dish was the highlight of culinary mastery, as a whole, the meal was very satisfying. The kind people working here make the establishment amazing, attentive and kind to give great suggestions. So, for something authentic and tasty, make a trip to this random strip mall and enjoy a family restaurant that adds a cool character to Nashville's community.

This was one of our first stops. What a fun unassuming place. Walking in on a Saturday about 11 am there was a line in front, a line at the butcher and a line at the bakery. We oogled the aisles at the assortment of offerings and their very good prices. My son then started complaining about being hungry so we decided to return later. As I was leaving we said goodbye to the cashier. He asked if anything was wrong. I replied, no just have to feed my son. He nodded and we were off. 1/2 hour later we were back. This time no line. I asked about the lines. He stated it is normal but it does go fast. I can witness to that. I bought some bread and some sambusas (sp). 1 chicken, had a nice spice but the vegetable blew me away!!! So incredibly tasting I did not feel guilty it being a deep fried pie. We talked to the cashier about the bread. He asked if I went back to the bakery to see what was the freshest. I said I will be right back. I was and bought a few more packages. AMAZING and OMGosh, what a treat watching the bakers make the bread. Makes one wonder how far we have come to want to go back and see how much better authentic bread should and is still made. Should add, but I don't want to, they have a breakfast pizza with sausage in the am and it is limited. Oy...If you see me, get out of my way, I am not above cutting in line and paying you for it. Prices are very good, no dust, no questions on prices, everything clearly marked, (my pet peeve). How do you buy something not knowing the price? Chatted again with cashier about the store and our purchases. Really enjoyed our quick 2 trips in same day within 30 minutes of each other. Will be back for the amazing bread AND Vegetable Sambusas and sweet cashier. See pics of bread. HUGE bread - good for almost anything also made quick pizza for the kids who loved it.
