AMAZING!!!! You can not ask for better service, the staff is wonderful. And the food is even better. The inside is decorated so cute and makes you feel so calm and peaceful. Will definitely be going back often.

the food was INCREDIBLE. absolutely delicious & definitely worth the hype. Both the coffee and tea were phenomenal. Ordered the TashTea for 3 and then a few other things and were absolutely blown away. The menemem and the potato börek were favorites at the table and it was so fun to mix sauces and try different combinations. The floor seating is really comfortable but if you have lower back issues definitely recommend a normal table. The staff was kind but service was quite slow. I enjoyed how knowledgeable the staff was ! Reservations are not necessary. Their online system doesn't work. You can call and make a reservation but on a Saturday morning there were still plenty of tables. Be prepared to be here a while, this was not a quick in & out breakfast. Perfect spot for catching up with friends & taking your time to enjoy some really really good food.

I've been passing this place for months. Scrolling the clock app, I saw a review and it was immediately added to my must try list. I'm an early riser so I went in shortly after open on a Sunday. I'm a sucker for esthetically appealing things... the decor was really cute! Of course I opted for the traditional floor seating. I wanted the full experience . We were immediately seated. The food was delicious. Very flavorful. Since I'm coming back with a group soon, I didn't get the Tash Tea Breakfast spread. I opted to get the Menemen. It was great! It's going to be hard to order anything else the next time I go. VERY Flavorful and served with bread. To drink I had a Matcha Latte and it's hands down one of the best I've had in Nashville. I also ordered a Cuban to go. It was ok. Very strong. As I got to the bottom, it was less strong and really tasty. I. WILL. BE. BACK

This is a small but vibey shop offering standard table seating & some floor cubby seating on pillows for a more traditional aesthetic. The food here is exceptional & I would argue it's one of the best breakfast options in the city. If you're dining with 2-4 get 4-5 dishes & share & there will likely be leftovers . Two of my favorites are the beef borek & the gozleme. Service is friendly & attentive. We are very lucky to have a great Kurdish food scene here.

A great place to eat when you have out-of-town guests or are in the mood for something different. The owners are available and approachable and willing to share details of their story and of the incredible variety of breakfast food. We sat in the low section to get as authentic an experience as possible. The food was plentiful and we've taken leftovers with us each visit. The service is professional and knowledgeable and definitely unobtrusive. They will talk as much as you want to talk and leave you to yourself when you want. The atmosphere is calming and relaxed. No putting on airs, just have a seat, take your time and enjoy. I think this must be the way meals are taken back home.

Food was good, for sure will be back to try other menu options. The latte was amazing and I was super excited they had pumpkin flavoring.

Probably the best meal I had while in Nashville! Absolutely amazing food that fills you up without leaving you feeling too heavy! The tea was great and the staff was attentive without being overbearing. Cannot wait to visit TashTea in the future!

OMG do NOT sleep on this place!! Me and adult daughter shared the TashTea for 2. It's the best charcuterie of food! And seemed to be just the right amount of small bites to fill us without stuffing us. Sweet, savory, fresh bakery items, fresh fruit, dips, yogurt, olives. All of the above. We were blown away by it. And daughter said best mango matcha she's ever had. We'll be back!

But yall..... that brown sauce of grape and sesame something.... lordt! Men.... that brown sauce is a great way to get.... YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN WINK WINK!!! My goodness I was not expecting this AT ALL! Obviously I will be back! I. Wondering at night do the play more trendy Turkish music and loosen up some? Because the food is perfect and the ambiance is beautiful! I could see it being like the cafes in the Netherlands minus the smoke

Single Tashtea breakfast... the rose jam was awesome!

Wow, I wasn't expecting much, this was just a breakfast place I found on Yelp on our way into Nashville, but this deserves a five star rating. First, the staff actually seemed genuinely happy and friendly, not just the fake server niceness you see. Second, everything we ate was delicious- my favorite was the rose jam that came with the Tashtea breakfast, but the fried eggs and sausage plate was also really good. The menemem was great as well, it was like pizza without the crust. It was busy but not obnoxiously so on a busier than usual Sunday morning. We got to sit at a low table on cushions, but they have normal tables as well. I highly recommend this place!

We absolutely loved TashTea! It is an amazing experience and I would recommend that you come hungry and order the TashTea - it comes with so much food and an assortment so you get a little of everything. And don't be afraid to ask questions! The staff is so kind and will answer questions or give recommendations. Everything was delicious and fresh. Can't wait to go back again. I didn't get a photo but we also tried the baklava which was absolutely delicious. This is a cozy little restaurant that is so cute inside with lovely ambiance.

We had the TashTea breakfast for two. My wife had the Kurdish Coffee and I had the Cafe Latte. Everything was amazing and there was sooooo much great food! We also took home the Dubai Chocolate Cheesecake for later. We will be back. Only two small observations: - I kind of wished there had been some tiny spoons or knives. I loved combining the jams with the tahini on the bread but in doing so it was hard not to get the jams mixed into the tahini. My wife didn't mind but I could see in larger groups how that could be awkward. - The bread went so well with everything that I wish the initial amount of bread given was more proportional to the various elements. Didn't mind paying for extra bread but it would have been nice if we hadn't needed to order more. These are really just small nitpicks and, regardless, I would still highly recommend any and everyone eat here!

    Kurdish breakfast for one!

My advice is to order a little bit of this and a little bit of that; you won't be displeased. Take in all of the culture. The lamb is extraordinarily tender and pretty tasty, although the flavor isn't nearly as good as the best I've eaten in the Middle East. But I have unfairly high standards as a world traveler. The beef dishes are very good too, but again, not the best I've had. The service is fantastic with welcoming employees who make you feel right at home. I'd…read moresaved them in my Nashville bookmarks for some time after they received a lot of acclaim on Yelp - I believe at one time they were on a Yelp list of best restaurants in the US. We were certainly excited to try Uzbek food, as there's nowhere that serves it where we live. The restaurant doesn't look like too much from the outside and the parking lot is a little run down. However, the inside is very updated and super clean and comfortable. There's lots of seating, what appears to be a private room in the back, and some high-tech features, like a machine that you can use to alert waitstaff if you need a refill, a to-go box, or any other kind of attention. The bathrooms were also immaculate. Service was a little strange. I wouldn't say it was slow - every time we placed an order or had a request, our food or items were promptly brought out to us. However, the challenge came in getting the attention of our waitresses. Two ladies took care of us, alternating based on availability. One was very nice and friendly, the other a little gruff and irritable-seeming. But both were completely averse to coming in and checking on us without one of us flagging them down. Perhaps they're used to the little machines? I don't like using those because they come across as too demanding; I'd prefer to just be visited and checked in on from time to time by staff. Not so here. Despite not being very busy, our visit took a lot of time, even though the actual food service was fairly quick. Onto the food, the most important part. We ordered a lot because I wanted to experience as many unique dishes as possible. One waitress first brought out a complimentary serving of pita and what I believe was suzma, which the menu describes as a yogurt-based cheese. This was one of the highlights of our meal, actually, as the pita was hot, fresh, and very lightly charred. The suzma went very well with it. Then we ordered a chicken somsa and some Uzbek bread. The chicken somsa was alright; the pastry was delightfully flaky, but for me it was way too onion-forward. The Uzbek bread was another highlight. It was a temperature and textural delight - so warm and fluffy - if not a flavor bomb. It was great to polish off the remaining suzma from our complimentary treat. For entrees, my husband wanted to try the signature osh, while I ordered chicken shashlik. The osh was probably the better of the two but he didn't love it. It was quite greasy and the lamb was on the gamey side. My chicken shashlik had definitely been near charcoal too long; it had an overly-charred, unpleasant chemical-y taste. The accompanying rice had so much butter or oil in it that it was greasy, too, and although that imparted more flavor into it, I felt gross after a couple of bites. Everything was cooked well, just the flavors really didn't quite come together for us on this visit. It's hard for me to believe, given the average outstanding reviews and consistent praise this place gets, that our experience was an average one. Perhaps we just came on an off day or ordered the wrong things for our palates, since we're fairly unfamiliar with this cuisine. I would be willing to try again some day, but sadly our first visit didn't quite wow the way we'd hoped it would. I appreciate the clean and pretty environment and quickly prepared food!
