Becuse my grandma died last week. I was having a rough time and had to have an in person appointment with my psychiatrist in Lancaster. And right after an appointment over the phone with Richard. My appointment ran over with my psychiatrist. I was headed back to my home in Logan when Richard called for my appointment. I was not feeling that great health wise(bronchitis) my grandmother had just passed away and I was rushing into CVS to get my meds when Richard called. I tried explaining to him everything that was going on while sweating profusely and having trouble catching my breath. He said I could call back if I got done within that hour or reschedule. I wasnt able to call back. Later on that day the receptionist asked me if I would like to do a video appointment the next day(Friday 13, 2026) I said yes. However due to my increased meds the previous day, dealing with the 2 months of lingering bronchitis and my grandmother just passing away I ended up sleeping all day. Didn't hear my phone go off once. Not a notification, phone call or the multiple alarms I set. So I missed the appointment. And did they call to give condolences or ask how I was doing? No. Did they show any compassion or empathy? No. They simply kicked me to the curb without taking a damn thing into account. How pathetic.

Anthem transportation is the culprit. They have made me miss multiple in person appts due to their lack of finding drivers and me missing important appointments. My type of care is multiple diagnosis and complex and I'm not treated as a diagnosis or a label. I'm treated as an individual with respect and dignity. Their care quality is top notch and OPS is constantly educating themselves and offering new state of the art treatments to patients. I would recommend OPS to anyone looking for the BEST mental health providers in Central Ohio. You will not regret going to them! Love them!
