I would never have thought I could find Good, authentic Indian Food in my neck of the woods, but Taste of India is just that! I moved to the Ozarks from near Chicago three years ago, and have been trying to teach myself to cook Indian Food food because I just didn't think I'd ever get it otherwise, and boy am I glad to have found thus restaurant! I got a sampler of my favorites, including Chicken Korma, Aloo Gobi, Pakora, Roti and Kheer. It was all excellent, and spiced just right. The staff, I'm assuming husband and wife but I could be wrong, we're very pleasant and genuinely happy for our business. My brother and I stopped in on 4/18/2026 after a hard day on the farm. This was something totally new and was an excellent experience. They greeted us as we walked in, advised us how their menu is best used, then brought us out an excellent meal that was an explosion of flavor! The food was absolutely fantastic, I never would've thought that I'd find the best Indian food of my life in rural Missouri but this is genuinely the best Indian food I've ever had, not just the food was fantastic, the service was excellent and the owners are some of the nicest people I've ever met. I definitely recommend the Lamb Biryani! I also liked the decor, it was calming and homey. Will definitely be coming here more often! read more

We were driving through Mountain View when we saw this Indian restaurant. We decided to stop and eat there. We have been traveling for a few days and to tell you the truth, this was the best meal we have had during our travels. You must try them. The service was great as well! read more

Wonderful Tikka Masala and Samosas and the service was fantastic! Loved that you could choose the spice level.
