I just love these guys! I've been getting their bao buns at the Delmar Farmer's Market for a while,…read morebut I finally made it over to their brick and mortar space for lunch the other day. The space is bright and airy and had a nice modern feel, and the service is extremely pleasant and kind. I love that they always have meat-free options. This time I tried their cold sesame noodles, which were perfect on a hot day! I thought the noodles were perfectly chewy and the sauce had a nice flavor without being too overpowering, but the star of the dish for me was the cucumber salad that comes on top. They also make their own ice cream with some really fun flavors. This time it was pineapple shortcake and I cannot say enough good things about it. Beautiful texture and a great pineapple flavor, with the crunch of a buttery, slightly lemony shortcake. I'd come back for the ice cream alone. They rotate their menu offerings and flavors seasonally so it's good to keep an eye on the menu, and their store hours are pretty limited so definitely check if they're open before making the trip. I'd like to start an official petition to get them to open a second location in Albany.

We frequent their stall at the farmers market in the summer and today finally made our way to their storefront. Their food is always delicious and today was no exception. We got the green onion pancakes, taiwanese fried chicken sandwich, and an order of sesame noodles with chicken. After we ate we also purchased some ice cream and hot sauce with frozen dumplings to go. You can tell they put so much care into every detail of the store, it is gorgeous and everyone there is so kind and helpful. Will be visiting again!

The restaurant was basically empty. The space is clean, with some colorful lights and an industrial feel. The menu was substantial, there was a lot to pick from. They have hibachi, poke bowls, noodle soup, and so much more. We got a sushi boat, with Ikoi rolls, also the Maki combo, the Mango Hawaii Roll, and the Spicy Tuna roll. While this was a ton of sushi, most of it wasn't good. The tuna roll was dry and tasteless. Same goes for the maki combo. The Ikoi was greasy. The only winner was the Mango Hawaii Roll. It was fresh and flavorful! The seaweed salad was also pretty satisfactory, as well as the egg drop soup. I am pretty disappointed in the overall quality of the sushi at Ikoi. I don't think I will be returning here.
