I just love these guys! I've been getting their bao buns at the Delmar Farmer's Market for a while, but I finally made it over to their brick and mortar space for lunch the other day. The space is bright and airy and had a nice modern feel, and the service is extremely pleasant and kind. I love that they always have meat-free options. This time I tried their cold sesame noodles, which were perfect on a hot day! I thought the noodles were perfectly chewy and the sauce had a nice flavor without being too overpowering, but the star of the dish for me was the cucumber salad that comes on top. They also make their own ice cream with some really fun flavors. This time it was pineapple shortcake and I cannot say enough good things about it. Beautiful texture and a great pineapple flavor, with the crunch of a buttery, slightly lemony shortcake. I'd come back for the ice cream alone. They rotate their menu offerings and flavors seasonally so it's good to keep an eye on the menu, and their store hours are pretty limited so definitely check if they're open before making the trip. I'd like to start an official petition to get them to open a second location in Albany. read more

My family have been longtime fans of Two Little Dumplings vince they started as a drive up dumpling order pickup during Covid. We frequent their stall at the farmers market in the summer and today finally made our way to their storefront. Their food is always delicious and today was no exception. We got the green onion pancakes, taiwanese fried chicken sandwich, and an order of sesame noodles with chicken. After we ate we also purchased some ice cream and hot sauce with frozen dumplings to go. You can tell they put so much care into every detail of the store, it is gorgeous and everyone there is so kind and helpful. Will be visiting again! read more

I've heard only good things about this establishment and how this family business started out at the farmers market. I decided to take the trip myself to Slingerlands to try their offerings. I am not familiar with the area but it's in a fairly new shopping plaza. It's more rural here and quiet but scenic. I enter into a lovely but busy space and I think that many individuals dining here are regulars and I see lots of to go action going on. I'm here for lunch and I am quite hungry haha. A quick note that you must check their business hours before stopping in. From what I understand, they are also still selling at the farmers market, thus the curtailed hours. They have a website to subscribe to, and they change up their menu monthly as well as seasonally. They also have brunch items available only on Saturdays. Now about the food! I had a hot Korean chicken bao, Taiwanese fried chicken, just the dumplings which had 6 pieces where I selected classic chicken and lunar (pork and shrimp), radish rice cakes, pork wonton noodle soup and a mapo tofu rice bowl. Everything was delish and it all came out pretty quickly. The flavors were a perfect blend of authentic with a hint of fusion. I especially enjoyed their own house made blend of soy dipping sauce and chili oil. Condiment offerings here are top notch! This place is quick and efficient. You grab a menu and a table, then place your order at the counter. It's more of a quick service eatery but no matter as you will not be disappointed. They also sell their delicious food items in a freezer on premises which is really nice. A great lunch spot if you're looking for something different that will wake up your taste buds! read more

Excited that they've opened up this space as I always had a hard time getting their food at the farmer's market. I love the atmosphere, it's pleasant and inviting. The owner, who I believe is often the one taking orders, is really warm and friendly. If you haven't tried two little dumplings yet, you need to, and don't forget to order the cucumber salad!! They just started the Spring menu so we were excited to try something new. We ordered chicken and waffles, wonton soup and of course their crave worthy cucumber salad. The chicken had a little heat, was super crispy not at all greasy. The flavor was unique and something I've ever had before. The waffle was light and slightly sweet. We added some of the chili crisp on the table to the chicken and it was even better. The wonton soup was not your typical plain chicken broth, it was a flavor bomb, it had pork wontons and noodles with bok choy and fried scallons or garlic. I will ask them to add green onions when i get it again for even more flavor. The restaurant is bright, comfortable and so welcoming. read more

We were so excited when Two Little Dumplings came to town, but we were always too lazy to stand in the long line at the farmer's market. Now, we can just swing by as often as we want, and either do take out or eat in, or buy the frozen dumplings from the freezers. The service is super friendly and family like, and there are cooking classes available throughout the year. The space is very bright and spacious, and had a good flow to it. I recently had the opportunity to participate in a dumpling making class at Two Little Dumplings. I've participated in other cooking classes in the area and I would say the course at Two Little Dumplings ranks right at the top of my list. What makes it different is the care and organization that shines through in the course. Jeanne initially shared an origin story of dumplings. She reviewed the ingredients list, passed out the ingredients, reviewed the filling recipe, and made a demo of folding the dumplings. We were then set loose on creating our own dumplings. All the while, James and Jisung walked around to assist and give pointers to all the students. The class was designed to make some dumplings to eat during the workshop and then the rest would be steamed to take home. Everything went according to plan. I really hope they offer other cooking classes. Another thing to note about Jeanne, the proprietor, is the authentic way she invests and creates community. Food is a great vehicle for doing that. Other notable community builders/food purveyors are Champ of Chee Bog and Chris and Eva of Harana Market. OK, the latter are Filipino establishments, I admit I have a skewed perspective. Anyway, I'm glad to support family-owned businesses that promote the essence of community. Lastly, if you haven't yet tried the pumpkin pie bao or the kimchi arancini, what are you waiting for? So excited to have finally gotten to see the brick & mortar space from this well known family business that started out as a home based business and became very popular at a local farmers market. Their new store in Slingerlands is a wonderfully modern open space with ample seating. They have their delicious sauces for sale along with other hot and cold items. The lunch menu changes seasonally. I had the Lu Rou Fan rice bowl which was delicious. I don't eat eggs so they made an easy substitution for me with kimchi - yummy! I also tried the cucumber salad, which was tasty without being overly sweet. Check the website as they have limited hours on Wednesdays and Thursdays since they're still also doing the farmers market. This place is definitely worth checking out! read more

I am SO excited that they now have a brick and mortar space to access my favorite dumplings more easily. The food is delicious and the staff are so kind and helpful. Whether it has been ordering food at the farmers market or in store, I have found they are always quick with getting food out without compromising quality. I love getting the frozen dumplings to make at home and it's pretty easy to do even for someone as cooking incompetent as I am! I also just want a give a special shout out to the sweet corn ice cream that I had at the end of summer, I did not expect to love it as much as I did! I am still dreaming about that delicious and unique dessert and I can't wait for it to be back in season! read more

When Two Little Dumplings moved into our area I ate dumplings for the first time in my life. We love them. We also love the friendliness of the staff. They answered all of my questions without judgment, and I really enjoy going there to purchase dumplings and accompaniments. I have also taken a dumpling making class there and it was outstanding.
