We were so excited when Two Little Dumplings came to town, but we were always too lazy to stand in the long line at the farmer's market. Now, we can just swing by as often as we want, and either do take out or eat in, or buy the frozen dumplings from the freezers. The service is super friendly and family like, and there are cooking classes available throughout the year. The space is very bright and spacious, and had a good flow to it. One of our favorite places to go.

Dumpling meal, side of rice and marinated egg! So delicious you gotta try it.

I haven't been in a long time. The girl at the counter remembered my name! I'm impressed. I got the dumpling meal. It was so yummy. The food came out fast and was the right temperature!

I recently had the opportunity to participate in a dumpling making class at Two Little Dumplings. I've participated in other cooking classes in the area and I would say the course at Two Little Dumplings ranks right at the top of my list. What makes it different is the care and organization that shines through in the course. Jeanne initially shared an origin story of dumplings. She reviewed the ingredients list, passed out the ingredients, reviewed the filling recipe, and made a demo of folding the dumplings. We were then set loose on creating our own dumplings. All the while, James and Jisung walked around to assist and give pointers to all the students. The class was designed to make some dumplings to eat during the workshop and then the rest would be steamed to take home. Everything went according to plan. I really hope they offer other cooking classes. Another thing to note about Jeanne, the proprietor, is the authentic way she invests and creates community. Food is a great vehicle for doing that. Other notable community builders/food purveyors are Champ of Chee Bog and Chris and Eva of Harana Market. OK, the latter are Filipino establishments, I admit I have a skewed perspective. Anyway, I'm glad to support family-owned businesses that promote the essence of community. Lastly, if you haven't yet tried the pumpkin pie bao or the kimchi arancini, what are you waiting for? Unique coalescing of cultural cuisines.

Excellent food and amazing customer service. A convenient location and I enjoy stopping in for food.

So excited to have finally gotten to see the brick & mortar space from this well known family business that started out as a home based business and became very popular at a local farmers market. Their new store in Slingerlands is a wonderfully modern open space with ample seating. They have their delicious sauces for sale along with other hot and cold items. The lunch menu changes seasonally. I had the Lu Rou Fan rice bowl which was delicious. I don't eat eggs so they made an easy substitution for me with kimchi - yummy! I also tried the cucumber salad, which was tasty without being overly sweet. Check the website as they have limited hours on Wednesdays and Thursdays since they're still also doing the farmers market. This place is definitely worth checking out!

The spicy wontons are our all-time favorite the sauce is incredibly flavorful, and unlike many places where the wontons are mostly dough, these are generously filled with meat. We also ordered the beef chunk soup and the salt-and-pepper fish. Even though I've been here many times, the salt-and-pepper fish was new to me on this visit, and it was fantastic crispy, perfectly seasoned, with little bits of fried garlic and a sweet-and-sour dipping sauce that was so good. The overall ambiance is basic and clean. However, they are serving up big and bold flavors. Service here is always friendly and fast. I especially like that they offer complimentary hot tea, and it's really appreciated on chilly days! Actually, tea is my go to whenever I'm having Asian food. I am a creature of habit and mostly order my usual. On this visit I had spicy wontons, General Tso's chicken, stewed beef chuck noodle soup and eggplant with garlic sauce. All delish and certainly enough leftovers for another meal. You've got to try it! Side note, they have an attached private parking lot next to them and that's a plus!

The fried sea bass with sweet and sour sauce was absolutely superb--perfectly crisp on the outside while still tender and flaky inside, balanced beautifully with that classic tangy sweetness that doesn't overpower the fish. And of course, the soup dumplings are always on point. Each one is delicate yet packed with flavor, with that rich broth that bursts out the moment you take a bite. It's the kind of consistency that keeps you coming back because you already know the quality will be there every time. What also makes this establishment stand out is the ambience. The atmosphere strikes that perfect balance--comfortable, lively, and welcoming without feeling rushed. You can tell the place runs on pride and discipline. The owner and waitstaff are always diligently moving, making sure every table is attended to and every guest is taken care of. That level of attentiveness is something you don't see everywhere anymore. For me, this has become my go-to Asian bistro in the Capital Region. Great food, strong hospitality, and a kitchen that clearly respects the craft. If you know, you know.

That server went out of her way to make the experience meaningful. The food is also alright. I liked everything I ordered as far as taste, no real complaints there. I just wish that the food that was supposed to be hot was served hot and some of the meat was really fatty and sinewy. I loved that I got to order endless green tea and they had mini crème brûlée for dessert which I thought was a total win! They are super tiny so if you order the maximum of two that you are allowed then it is almost the size of one anywhere else. If you are a big eater then I think this is a really good deal for the price. If you're not then you could feel it's a bit pricey. Overall I would recommend trying it!
