I went to This taco spot last night for dinner. They are located on a Main Street ( Slauson and…read morekeniston) and parking can be difficult depending the time of day you visit. I arrived around 6:30pm and let me tell you we beat the rush. It's located on the same lot as a motorcycle garage. The motorcycle business is extremely loud - they love bumping their jams as they pull in and out. Now to the food. We ordered tacos (asada, al pastor and suadero), a burrito and a quesadilla. The food was delicious, the meats were very flavorful and the tacos were tiny! Yes, tiny! Which makes sense since they're only $1. i ordered an agua de jamaica and OMG it was delicious! For 15 tacos, burrito, quesadilla and drinks we only paid $30! If you're in the area, stop by and give them a try. It will be worth it.

I believe these are the same folks who used to be on West Bl. as there are similarities. While I…read moresee many positive reviews on here, I'm left wondering how? In the picture section there is a photo as well as videos from others on how they cook their meats; in a large pan with grease/oil. That is not the way it should be done- ever. Asada is supposed to be cooked on a charcoal grill and then cut up dry and only heated on the skillet, not in a bath of oil. That's why I would get stomachs issues at the West location if was them and here when I tried them out once. When going for tacos, I look to see if there is a charcoal grill nearby that was used. But to each their own. I won't go here as I prefer a place more authentic to how meat should be cooked. Btw, never had an issue with service, just their food.

One of the best al pastor burritos in LA! A friend…read morerecommended it to me and I traveled 19 miles and wasn't disappointed. You could see the freshness of al pastor on their vertical rotating grill and the meat seemed leaner as well. They cut a new batch of al pastor and then they chop it to smaller pieces than you're normally used to seeing and somehow, those smaller pieces preserved all the delicious meat juice inside. The al pastor was very tender, juicy, well-marinated and had the sweet and savory notes in a perfect balance and the guys adding some fresh, ripe pineapple on top was a nice touch! I got served my burrito open-faced, I added the salsa, pickled onion and chopped fresh onions and then sent it back to the crew for the final wrapping. Just a great, tasty burrito that absorbed really well. The quality could really be seen and felt and the $10 price tag was unbeatable. The customer service was very friendly and there is plenty of parking right behind the taco stand on the CVS plaza. Will definitely come again!

Whoa. The hype is real. For all these years I put street food, taco trucks a step tier below actual…read morerestaurants. But this all changed tonight. I watched a burrito be made right in front of me in a minute and it turned out to be one of the best burittos I've ever had. And it was only $12. I understand now. The added pineapple in the buritto added just enough sweetness. They smash the tortilla into the grill and they also smash the meat to make sure it's hot. The meat has no gristle and it's very soft and flavorful. This is why we live in California. I applaud the taco stands opening up in the same block. The line was intimidating but the festive music only made me hungrier. I am surprised at how friendly the staff can be while they are "at work". I've only seen such positivity at Howlin Rays. Luckily, the line moves much faster. They had a cactus salsa which would have gone great with salsa chips. It's the type of salsa that you get at great mexican restaurants and they just let you choose an unlimited amount of it. I asked for rice and beans in my burrito and they put just the right amount of it, being careful as to not overpower the meat portions. I also appreciate that I can add my own salsa, onions, cilantro, before handing it back to them to wrap it. Sometimes the hype of LA places are blown out of proportion especially with blog posts and social media. But I can vouch for this place. It really is worth it. I will be back for sure.

This place is a gem. Of course, I had to start with a margarita served in one of those huge goblet glasses, and wow--it did not disappoint. Strong, smooth, and full of flavor. My wife, who's pregnant, ordered a virgin cocktail, and honestly, it was just as impressive. It was refreshing, well-balanced, and fairly priced (which is rare for non-alcoholic drinks). For food, we went all in. My wife ordered the fish taco meal, which was generous and packed with flavor. The portions were no joke. Our son got the kids burrito, and it was massive--definitely not your average "kids meal." I went with the quesabirria tacos from the appetizer menu, and they were perfect for my appetite. Rich, flavorful, and satisfying without being too heavy. The ambiance really stood out. It strikes a great balance between authentic Mexican culture and a modern, clean dining experience. It's the kind of place that feels lively and welcoming without being overwhelming--perfect for a casual night out or even a small celebration. Service was top-tier. The staff was attentive without hovering, quick with recommendations, and made sure we were taken care of from start to finish. You can tell they genuinely care about the customer experience, which goes a long way. Parking is a bit limited right in front, but there's plenty of street parking and nearby lots, so it's manageable. Bonus: right next door is Drobe Stogie Cigar Lounge, which is a great spot to check out if you enjoy cigars. It's the perfect way to wind down after a solid meal. Overall, the pricing is very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes, and this is easily becoming one of our go-to spots for nights out. Highly recommend.
