We recently hosted our school's end of year celebration here, and everything was excellent. Joe and Susanne were wonderful to work with throughout the planning process. The venue was beautiful, with amazing skyline views, and the service was outstanding. One thing our guests especially appreciated was the variety of food options available. There were plenty of choices to accommodate different dietary needs and preferences, which made everyone feel included. The food was delicious. The chicken marsala, baby potatoes, broccoli rabe, and steak were all excellent and received many compliments from our guests. We can't say enough about our experience with LCI Caterers. From our first email more than a year before our wedding they were so welcoming, responsive, and warm. Susanne, who was our main contact throughout the process, is tremendously organized and communicative, and Joe and his team are experts in food and hospitality. At our tasting, Joe and Susanne gave us great suggestions to tweak our menu, and welcomed our feedback. Renting table linens and coolers for our bar through them was also a breeze, removing a layer of stress from planning. Not to mention, LCI's rates for their excellent service were more than fair, and we really appreciated their price transparency on their website. On our wedding day, the food was just as good if not even better than at our tasting. Several guests approached us to give their compliments about the meal, and my family who works in hospitality was particularly impressed by the level of care paid to every detail, down to the sparkling clean silverware. One of the best moments for us was seeing the entree Joe made for our vegan guest, who was nearly moved to tears by how thoughtfully it was prepared! During cocktail hour, the passed appetizers came out at a steady pace, and I'm pretty sure the last table called was up at the buffet before my wife and I even finished our plates. We spotted plenty of guests going up for seconds, too. As for the bar, the bartender was friendly and quick, and he executed our signature drinks perfectly. On top of that, it was great to see how seamlessly the LCI team worked with our coordinator and the venue. Where do I begin?! LIC was an absolute delight to work with for our wedding this past weekend. Susanne and Joe were so helpful throughout the planning process, from our first initial conversation, to our tasting, to our wedding, and everything in between. We stayed in touch for months to ensure that everything went smoothly on the day of and that all details, small and large, were in place. We had hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour and a buffet for our reception dinner, and everything we ate was incredible. Our guests stopped us multiple times throughout the night to compliment the food, some even saying that it was the best meal they've ever had at a wedding. The coffee and homemade desserts were phenomenal and I wish I took more photos! The bar was impeccable as well, they were able to accommodate our drink requests to have a few of our favorite beers and Cold Brew Martinis as our signature drink, that our guests absolutely loved. My husband and I hired LCI caterers in the 6 weeks or so before our wedding which was in September 2021 as our previous caterer was flaking out on us. Joe and team were extremely accommodating through the whole process of selecting items for our cocktail hour and buffet, especially given the short time frame to make all the arrangements. They were always quick to respond to email and phone calls and were so patient with our many many questions. Their catering staff was very professional and Joe came to the venue as well on the day. The food (we chose mostly classic Italian dishes) was delicious and we received many positive comments about it during and after. I especially like the chicken Marsala and francese! We used Joe and the LCI team for our wedding a couple weeks ago. We were so happy with them from start to finish. They had so many options, they let us try so much at our tasting, they were professional and incredibly helpful. My husband and some of his family members have Celiac disease, and they were able to accommodate us very easily - providing many gluten free options. We ended up providing our own alcohol and using LCI's soda bar option, and their bartenders served our alcohol, including two custom cocktails. They assisted us with all our additional table rentals, and everything went very smoothly day-of thanks to them and their staff. Professional, courteous and delicious food! What more could you ask for? I had a gathering with a Spanish/Mexican theme and Susanne & Joe took the time to work with me to get the perfect and most cost efficient menu. The food arrived hot and fresh and was a big hit and the delivery people even helped me set it up! Besides the hot food being excellent (Pernil, Paella, Arroz con Gandules, Buffalo Chicken Wings and Chicken & Sausage Scaparello to name a few) the hero sandwiches were superior. I ordered chicken cutlets and cold cuts and they were all overstuffed with extra meat and were presented really well--they came in nice-sized triangle chunks in plastic containers and were very manageable to put out and eat....just one of the highlights of the order! I found LCI Caterers through google last November. I was responsible for securing the food at the Holiday Party of my workplace and leaned heavily on good Yelp reviews to make sure the caterers were trustworthy. LCI had great reviews and after booking them I know why. Joe worked with our nonprofit budget to feed 200 staff members. He delivered promptly and even provided staff. Staff were great, they helped with serving and clean up. The food was good - I even heard some of my colleagues say it was the best they've had in decades. I would certainly consider LCI for future events - they deliver, and are an all in one caterer which is helpful. My thought is that the per person rate can makes things pricier, but like I said Joe is an italian family man - he will work with you. read more

Within a week notice, Susanne and Joe help put together a full dinner for our closest family and friends for our wedding. We had to make last minute changes to venue, they responded quickly and took care of everything on their end without causing us any extra worry. In addition to the food they were able to set up and break down our venue, bartend and make sure we were able to enjoy the meal as well. Each guest I spoke to picked out something different that they ended up loving from the dinner. I definitely recommend the crab cakes, empanadas, the steak with the chimmichuri and the crowd favorite LIC mashed potatoes. It wasn't the typical wedding food since we were able mix and match from a vast menu. Joe was at the venue through out the night and made sure his team ran everything without an issue. We had an excel sheet of many caterers but LCI ended up being the best choice in terms of pricing, response time, and most importantly the food. Joe and his catering services are both fantastic. LIC caterers provided the food for backyard wedding for 115 people. We went in for a food tasting on a whim, and put down a deposit 45 minutes later. Pros: Joe is a nice guy! He is friendly and made the process fun and worry free. He was flexible with the menu items, and gave suggestions that made sense for us (rather than what would make him money). The most important part - the food was fantastic! Everyone seemed to enjoy their meal. I'd say one of the most important things was his delivery team. They stayed to plate some apps for us, and set everything up during a very high stress time. They also brought some addition plates, napkins, silverware, and serving spoons that we were not expecting. Finally, the price for quality and quantity was astounding. It's really worth the money. Cons: None that would keep me from using Joe's services in the future. But, due to his quality food he is REALLY busy and sometimes there were delays in communication. In fact, Joe is so busy he still hasn't charged me for his services a week after the event! But, I did get the sense that if I really needed to talk to him, I could find him. Finally, if Joe's delivery guys are any indication of the quality of his waitstaff, I'd definitely hire his servers next time. We had servers from another company, and we found 4 trays of food the next morning that were never put out for our guests :-( read more

Please hire Joe My now husband and I were looking for a good caterer that would please our picky parents, appeal to both our cultures (My husband is Mexican and I am Dominican) as well as our American co-workers and friends. The tasting was everything we wanted and more and Joe seemed super knowledgeable and had experience with our venue (26 Bridge) everything we could want.... He helped take our vision and create a menu that was beyond all our expectations including ALL our favorite things!! And kept us within our budget which we both thought would be impossible to do, but it's Joe so of course he makes it happen. Joe is an amazing caterer but he was so much more than that for us! Joe was always available to me over the phone or via email no matter the time and no matter how anxious I got (and trust me I am a worrier!) he always had a solution!! Joe even spoke to me on his way to his vacation because we were a month away from our wedding and he wanted to make sure I was okay with the menu. Joe was able to fix problems that even my coordinator said "there is nothing you can do"... Joe would come in and say "we can fix that!" Two days before the wedding our bartenders canceled on us!!! One call to Joe and problem fixed!! We needed more tables last minute... Joe fixed that! AND THE FOOD!!! DELICIOUS!!! All our guests raved and complimented us on the food and everyone left full and happy; and remember this our picky family and everyone was happy!! .... Everything that my hubby and I wanted for our special day. But Joe's amazingness does not end there, after the wedding Joe heard that with all the running around we did not get to taste everything, and he offered to cook for us so that we could taste what we had missed at the wedding .... LCI made my son's bar mitzvah the elegant affair that it was. They were hands down the best vendor I worked with for the party. They worked really hard to do exactly what we wanted, accommodating a vegetarian guest of honor along with a mostly meat-eating crowd. We had salmon with lemon and dill sauce, polenta medallions with tomatillo sauce, fresh pasta with vodka sauce, two kinds of mini quiches including a goat cheese and caramelized onion tart, a refreshing fennel salad, roasted veggies, and a mac & cheese bar for the kids. I reached out to Joe to do our wedding after being floored by his delicious food at our friends' wedding the year before. Everything about working with Joe was amazing from beginning to end. He spent a lot of time with us at our tasting, answered all my crazy emails in a timely fashion, stayed til the bitter end of our wedding -- and made me feel like family. Having him do our wedding helped me relax -- he's been in business for a million years and can literally do this in his sleep! We opted for the buffet for our wedding at Bat Haus in Bushwick (where Joe has worked plenty of times before) and it was a huge hit! Having good food at our wedding was the most important thing to me and LCI Caterers did NOT disappoint. We had everything from soup to nuts -- two types of salads, two types of pasta, chicken, a sirloin carving station, pork, salmon, veggies, potatoes. For cocktail hour, we did four types of passed hors d'oeuvres -- the samosas, caprese on a stick (my FAVORITE), pulled pork sliders and bacon-wrapped brussel sprouts (also my fave). Joe also so kindly threw in a chorizo with pineapple skewer, which was so so tasty. My guests are STILL raving at how good the food was (which is a huge relief because nothing's worse than a wedding with crap food). Added bonus: We had so many leftovers, that we ended up feeding our extended family (with four kids) and then froze some containers for later! Joe and his staff were so professional and courteous. They managed to solve a few snafus (running out of drink cups, having no cake plates, etc.) with little fuss. One of the servers was so sweet that she even made sure my husband and I got enough to eat during cocktail hour and made us plates at dinner so we didn't have to wait in line! And the bartender was so friendly and quick with a pour! Joe is true a neighborhood guy who treats you like an old pal. He's flexible, works with your budget and is organized and on top of his stuff -- all important qualities when you're crazy busy planning the most important day of your life. Joe and the LCI team catered our wedding reception in April 2017. They did an exceptional job!! From the first time meeting Joe, he treats you like family. He is always available to answer questions and man can he cook. When we went to speak to him the second time to pick dishes for our event and book a tasting, Joe went straight to the kitchen and cooked us some great samples with whatever he had lying around. The samples were so great we had to add them to our menu and it was a good thing we did too because our guests loved all the food. Especially the lasagna, pepper steak and LCI Special Mash Potato were incredible. After the tasting and picking all our dishes I started getting a little nervous about the cost, but Joe's pricing is unbelievable and unbeatable. Joe's team at the reception were phenomenal!! They went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly even with all the obstacles that occurred with my venue. They helped me with setting up the wedding cake and cake cutting with no problems even though that was not their responsibility. With all the running around, it was a pleasure to get back to our table and they had our food was waiting for us (including appetizers which were served during cocktail hour). They even came back to us repeatedly to see if we needed or wanted anything else. At the end of the night, they packed up the left overs and had it ready for us to take home.
