I am extremely disappointed with Laser Away and their consistently poor customer service…read more From the very beginning, I've encountered countless scheduling and system issues that have made it impossible to move forward with my treatment confidently. At my first appointment in September, I was told just two hours before my scheduled time that someone else had double-booked my slot and asked to come later. I explained I couldn't due to work, but was told to come in anyway. Then, just 15 minutes before my appointment, while I was already on my way, I got another call saying they couldn't accommodate me and I would need to reschedule. When I finally showed up for my first service, their computer system was down, and I had to wait around 20 minutes before the technician proceeded. After the session, the system was still down, and I was told someone would call me the next day to schedule my second appointment. I provided my name, but no one ever followed up. I had to take the initiative myself and reach out in January just to schedule my second appointment. For my second visit, I arrived for my scheduled appointment only to be told they had no record of my appointment, forcing me to reschedule again. The recurring system and scheduling issues make me not even want to go back to finish my treatment. I would strongly advise everyone to avoid this place.

They take the time to explain everything and check in to make sure I'm doing okay, which I really appreciate. The clinic itself is spotless and well-organized, with a calm, welcoming atmosphere. Equipment looks modern and well-maintained, and I never have to wait long to be seen. Overall, I'm really happy with my experience here and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for effective laser hair removal in a clean, professional environment!!

I was very nervous going into a tattoo laser procedure, but Dr. Huang made it such a great…read moreexperience and as painless as possible. I do not write Yelp reviews unless truly deserved and this one is! When I first entered his office, he sat me down and went into extensive detail and attention to explain to me the process of the tattoo removal. He analyzed my skin type and healing time and asked me very specific questions to narrow down to my exact treatment. Very informative. When it came to the procedure he made sure I was as comfortable as possible. The pain can be described as a rubber band snapping and it hurt, probably not that bad, but I have no tolerance for pain. Anyways he was very patient and genuinely tried to ease the pain. He offers numbing medication and if you need a break stops before continuing on. I had him stop several times. Price wise, it is $75 for the consultation, but if you get the procedure done the same day, he waives the fee and only charges you amount depending on size, color, and complexity. My tattoo is about 1.5 sq inches and has multiple colors, but the larger and more complex, the more it costs and you may need several sessions. You should know, if you are serious about the procedure, it is time consuming, depending on how many sessions you need every 6-8 weeks. His staff is very friendly and professional. Dr. Huang called me after a couple of days to check up on me and see if I had any scarring, how I felt and the progress of the healing. I really feel as if he cares about his patients unlike other doctors who just want to get your money and move onto the next one. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a good tattoo removal procedure and at a fair price. He is experienced and really tries to make you feel comfortable and at ease. FIVE STARS!

Places like St. Vincent's are the reason I have PTSD. Literally EVERYTHING during my experience at…read moreSt. Vincent's was horrible, traumatizing and some of it was even potentially illegal. There were almost zero therapy groups while I was there and staff fell asleep one night, allowing a male patient to enter a female patient's room while she was sleeping. I was locked in an office with a male psychiatrist during my intake (this was potentially illegal). My rights as a disabled person were ignored that night and the male psychiatrist who locked me in a room with him came up to the unit I was on the 2nd night to tell me my dad had been out of control when he was trying to lawfully enter the office while I was having my intake (he WAS NOT out of control). This same psychiatrist also tried to convince me that my autism was not a real disability. I also woke up the first morning to find a male employee sitting in my room which was highly inappropriate. There is so much more I could say about how horrible my time at St. Vincent's was but that's enough for now. The only good thing about being at St. Vincent's was interacting with the other patients. We basically formed our own therapy group and took care of each other (we called ourselves the Breakfast Club).

No soap for patients to clean their hands after using the bathroom. Only the garbage has been changed daily. The doctor refuses to give him his anti-anxiety medicine saying she wants to work on the issues causing the anxiety but nothing happens. Groups are a joke. Instead of a morning group, they have a morning check in where nothing happens. Additionally they've started a Reflection hour where the patients have to stay in their rooms for an hour to "reflect." This place has a minute amount of entertainment for the patients so they're already spending a portion of their day in their rooms. The staff says that this is something that should be happening every day but my son has been there for a week now and this is the first time. I feel like the staff just doesn't want to deal with the patients. I really like my son's social worker but he's probably the only good thing about this place.
